as an outsider, but an Aussie so I know Ange quite well if Spurs stick with Ange they'll be fine, but right now they are seeing his biggest weakness as a manager (and why he's just not suited for national team jobs, sure he won an Asian cup, but well, we'll get there) Ange's biggest weakness is the same as his biggest strength, it's his unwavering commitment to his style of play, and when it works, it works a dream, attacking beautifully, getting much more out of the team than the sum of it's parts and so on, but when it doesn't, it just falls apart, and when it does fall apart, as Spurs have shown, it's not like 1 or 2 goals apart, it's 5 and 6 the reason Ange ended his Australia career as a bit of a failure was his unwillingness to adapt, in the last year or so of his time with the NT, there was a pretty major shift, in players, through retirements, injuries and new players coming in, and it became very evident, very quickly, that the quality wasn't there to play the way he wanted to, our best player was probably Leckie, if not Matty Ryan, with the likes of Mooy, Sainsbury, Behich and of course the stalwart of the 2010's, Jedinak, like these guys, love em all of course, love everyone who puts on a Socceroos shirt, weren't good enough to play Angeball, and it showed and that's what's happening with Spurs atm, through the injuries the players just aren't there, but when they come back, and maybe some new blood this month and in the summer, I truly think Ange could, whilst not a prem, seriously push for some silverware next season, heck maybe this season with the cups
As a Spurs fan, I thought this video was gonna be kind of biased, considering your Arsenal fandom, but I was pleasantly surprised with how unbiased & well researched this video was. Great job as always Maqwell 👏
