Thank you David!!
Elementor tutorials were never the same in performance and quality after you switched to Webflow!! We're abandoned, Dave!!
You are definitely the best Elementor teacher out there, everything is so understandable and so pure. Thank you so much, you're the best.
I know what can be done and most of the things you did, but it still amazes me that it's possible to knock something like that out in 15 minutes.
As always, you don't go overboard with STUFF we just don't need to know !! Well at this time. Videos are to the point, informative and to top it off !! Your a nice bloke. Listened to you on a old WP Innovator podcast; The tittle was #75 "Transferring Designs to Wordpress" but I think you both went off topic a little, but it was great fun .. listening to to two 'Normal Guys" .. None of this "Mines bigger than yours bullsh*t" Just showed what a nice guy you are and why I now check out your blog / site / youtube and still listen to WP Innovator's Podcasts when I out on my 6 mile walk. Cheers Dave.
Wow, that's quite an endorsement David! That's really made my day. Thanks. :D
Just saying how I see it !! "Your Round, Mine's a Cider !!!" :)
Great tutorial video. You're a natural instructor.
Thank you Ama. That means a lot to me. :)
Your content is fantastic Dave thank you. I've learned so much in a couple of days. Not been able to comment as watching on my TV while trying to build. You make it look so easy and your designs (and the designs you showcase) are top notch. Really appreciate it thanks.
The best explanation I have heard so far Dave. A very detailed explanation of the basics in creating a website. I highly recommend this to other newbies. Thanks, Dave. I hope you come up with more videos. Keep it going, please.
Awesome explanation and with great simplicity.
Thanks Harold. That's what I aim for.
Great tutorial. Thanks for all your other tuts too. You are my go-to Elementor guy!
Nice one, thanks David.
Love this! You're the main reason I chose GeneratePress, Elementor Pro, and Wordpress...instead of Squarespace. Really appreciate your website, videos, and newsletter.
It's a beautiful combo! Glad I can help. :)
G'day Dave, you make it all look like child's play, champion. Bloody informative, as usual, cheers, Cobber. Keep grinnin'.
Great tutorial Dave! keep up the great work
Cheers Phil!
This is a very useful, and explained in simply jargon for anyone to build their website.
Dave, you make the best videos for Elementor.
Very kind of you to say - I appreciate it, thank you.
EXCELLENT tutorial, Dave..and here I thought I may already be beyond learning this... but I've picked up some great tricks...and you are explaining it so well! Greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Excellent Monika. So pleased you found things in there that are helpful! I really appreciate your support.
Thank you for another outstanding vid and for answering my question on padding!
I am glad to see your new video. Amazing tips, and hints. Every time something new. Please carry on.
Excellent. Thank you Shahzad. :)
What a refreshing set of videos!
Really like your style which is quite relaxing but engaging. Most importantly though, your years of experience are clear, your depth of knowledge is great and everything is very well articulated. Thanks very much for providing this great content.
Wow thank you Walter. That's amazing feedback! Much appreciated my friend.
Two thumbs up ! Another killer tutorial of yours.
Brilliant! Thanks!

Fernando
Great! Thanks Fernando!
Again...Great video!
Thank you Christian. :) I appreciate it.
Hi Dave brilliant video - I am at the moment (a Divi User) but OMG !! i,m blown away watching what elementor offers like the section shapes thats a whole load of CSS in DIVI - I think I need to switch - and just read your review of Generatepress fantastic is all I can say - thank you - i,m off now to watch more of your videos :-)
Fantastic! That's really great to hear, Trevor!
I've now watched all of your videos here on RUclips and it's a hallelujah moment for me. You're so educational and awesome. I've used Joomla for several years, and built a website for my football club with a premade template, Purity III from Joomlart. It's been okay, but very challenging every time I wanted to change some styling. The T3 Framework is hard for me to change CSS on my own. I almost every time needed to rely on support...
Now those days are gone. When this season is over for my football club, I'll switch from Joomla to Wordpress and build a new site for my football club with Elementor.
And you also convinced me to get GP Pro. ☺
Again, thank you very much for your educational videos and I hope to see more of them in the future...
Thank you so much for this Felix. I really appreciate it! Good luck on your journey. :)
Thanks Dave for the grate in depth tutorial . my problem is the woocommerce never displays all the items of the free shop i’ve tried adjusting all types of settings now am considering FTP route abit scary for me not had any experience with this tool some advise would help, your advise is so clear and precise you make learning a breezes thanks once again you are Thee Guru your Tutorials should come with a health warning “” Will make your Head swell with confidence””
Hanso
Amazing tutorial! I've been wondering how analogwp make his templates, they are pretty awesome and stylish! So this is a great way to learn, you always explain clear as crystal and don't forget even the small details like saving the template. Greetings from Mexico!
Excellent Roberto - thank you! I'm really pleased you found it useful. Thanks for letting me know. :)
Thanks
Love your videos, easy to understand and implement hands on! the analogwp landing page you are using is no longer available on their site.
Thanks Joseph. Yeah they stopped selling templates a while ago and this one's not available anymore, sadly.
Hi, This is so great! Thanks. The form to your mini course doesnt work anymore. Is it possible to view this somehow?
Hey Dave! Where did you get the photos from? Any idea how to recreate them using a graphic designer tool (Not any Adobe product)?
Is the Pulse template still accessible? (looks like they may be temporarily disabled)?
Love this tutorial Dave!
Sadly no, I don't think so. :(
Hai Dave. Provide advice and all information to me how to create a good and correct website. Thx
Great series. What I would like to know is how to create a hero header on say a homepage and then make it render appropriately on tablet and mobile. Elementor Support suggested having two images, making one displaying on desktop and the other on mobile but worried about page load speed. Perhaps a future video idea?
Thanks Ama. I'd have to say i agree with them - if you need that kind of fine control, better to set different images for each responsive breakpoint, then show/hide them in the responsive settings.
You *can* do it differently if you were hand-coding - you'd use the 'srcset' attribute in your code to specifically set your different images, so the browser would just load the correct one, rather than having them all loaded in the page.
One thing I wonder: if you used image 'lazy loading' (e.g. en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/rocket-lazy-load/), I wonder if your alternative images would only load if they were visible? It's not something I've checked.
How are the widgets moved (left or right) inside the columns?
Hi Dave, thanks for the videos. I've learnt a lot. Just a question, I'm trying to do this free... How does generatorpress stack up against Astrid.... Or 2019 wp theme? I'm just wondering if there is anything updated as these vids are a while ago.... Thanks
I wouldn't bother trying to use a page builder with 2019. It's too restrictive, not enough styling controls in the Customizer. Both free GP and Astra both excellent. I use both all the time.
On the 'column handle', I don't see the two additional tabs on the right for 'section'. Is this not available with the pro version? I am not able to add a section inside the column
I have the same problem. Might be due to the fact that the video is nearly 3 years old and things might have changed with elementor updates.. but i cant tell you for sure either so it would be interesting to know
Hi Dave thanks for this brilliant tutorial. I want to use this wavey davey header but I want the wavey bit beneath the main page content. Is that possible?
(I have a long thin header image at the very top, a standard wide menu bar below that, and then a wavey bottomed background that extends down into the page. The bottom overlays the main page of course and I'd like to have content sit on top of it. Hope this all makes sense!)
Here's what I'm trying to achieve: imgur.com/v2Q5iw0
If you want the wavy thing on the bottom, you just have to set it to bottom in the shape divider settings for the section. You can set it to be top or bottom. Is that what you mean?
@@DaveFoy I'll give it a try and let you know. Thank you
Great tutorial, just one question: could you have the form at the bottom on mobile version? If so how would you do it? Many thanks
That's great, many thanks Dave!
No worries!
I was curious why you choose to use the spacer instead of the margin/padding settings under advanced?
No reason really Kevin, at least not that I can remember. I just tried to show as many different techniques as possible. :)
I've seen that on your page when you click on a section there is an option to choose column or section.
is a particular add on or is reserved only for pro version?
i use free version and there is not that option.
Thank you for your work
I think it's because I'm using an earlier version of Elementor in these videos. In the latest version, you select the section settings in the top-center of the section, and the column settings at the left-hand sides of each column.
One day I'll remake the series with the latest version of Elementor. :)
Its always a problem when design home screen with menu as them menu is not suited with elementor
Question, what is the name of that PNG Background image?
It doesn't have a name, it's just the background image that came with the template I based this tutorial on.
How to create primary navigation in elementor?
I use the NavMenu Addon plugin for that Muhd, it's excellent.
Do you know a good place to get paid/free templates for small business websites besides in ones in elementor?
Check out analogwp.com/ and elegantmarketplace.com/downloads/category/elementor/.
I also love Mor Cohen's Elementor templates - some are free, some are premium. Beautiful design.
For some reason RUclips won't let me post the URL to Mor's site! Weird?
Nope, it won't let me! Grrr.... I'll just have to spell it out: flixframe dot com slash web-layouts
Hey Dave, I guess you are using GP as your theme?
Yes that's right Rodney. I always use GP.
how can we create a design like this header with elementor londonlooms.com
That site is not found Rohan. Have you got the URL right?
good but i don't like all those marketing tricks, subscribe to send you the other videos.
Tricks? I spend many hours/days making free videos to help you. In this case, all I ask for an email address in return to see some more really good stuff. Not a reasonable transaction? Feel free to refrain from subscribing. No worries.
I put my email, but you say I will send you the other video tomorrow. this tutorial is not that big to justify such a delay
I just released part 1 of a new series George. ruclips.net/video/zZs0Otk9Szc/видео.html. They'll all be released without need for an email address. I do give away some bonuses, for an email. But they're not essential for the series.
