Actually Frankie valli and the four seasons wasn't the original four seasons. It was the four seasons but when it was just Frankie and some other people who weren't in the original band it was Frankie valli and the four seasons because there were four other people, none of which were in the original band
I remember seeing this in the theaters back in 2014 with my parents never having heard of the four seasons and loving it so much. There was so much emotion in this movie Frankie Valli went through some emotional roller coasters in his life and hardships.
just saw this movie and it was much better than i expected it to be. Solid film making and the ending was an unexpected surprise. Loved Clint Eastwoods sneaky little cameo too.
My gf and I both like their music and went to watch this together, everyone was old I felt young lol. I'm 18 and I love this band I've listen to them since I was little and it was one of the best movies I've seen I loved it!
it is ridiculous how excited i am for this. yes, i am but 23 years old. saw the musical once live and can't get enough of it. i was seriously born in the wrong decade.
the fact that there is a movie about a group from the early 60's and we have the show counting cars and people are starting to cruise again, and get into American Graffiti again gives me a little hope froe the future love the 50's! we need a remake of a movie about Buddy Holly! that shows how buddy holly really was
Don't worry....a lot of people do that since it's so cheap to rent movies now. We only go if it's a movie that we really want to see on a big screen. Other than that we wait till summer to go to the drive in. Two movies, one cheap ticket, and we bring our own food. 100 times better than any movie theater
Please don't tell me I'm the only one who is very excited to see this movie. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons music was so original and authentic I am so glad they made a movie about them and not just any director , Clint Eastwood ! You can tell it is going to be good !
This movie brought tears to my eyes.. TWICE. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, other than West Side Story. I love this movie with so much of my heart. Thank you, Mr. Eastwood for making a wonderful movie. Made me even love the Four Seasons. Please make more Broadway Musicals to movies, Eastwood. You do it justice.. I still need to see this on stage though ^^'
My mother and her family grew up in Newark, New Jersey in the 60s as Sicilians and grew up with Frankie Valli's voice I can't be more proud of where I come from then I am now.
I loved this movie! All the actors were great and their singing was incredible! John Lloyd Young who plays Frankie Valli definitely deserves an Oscar for his amazing performance.
I told my brother this would be Vincent Piazza's role that would send him into the next stratosphere career wise and after seeing the trailer I'm sure of it
Watch this on Broadway and it was absolutely incredible! So glad the same actor that I watched is playing Valli - can just tell this movie is going to be awesome and can't wait for it to come out in the cinema!!!
The best movie that I have seen in a very long time, and the actors that were chosen to play the 4 Seasons, were the best!!!!...I would see this movie again and again, and again
Clint Eastwood have made a wonderful movie again, based on a true story. The actors explain their lives while they perform the movie. The last act is a masterwork that we used to see for those years.
This is one of the greatest movies. 🥰 Unfortunately, today Tommy DeVito passed away 😥 I consider this movie too good to be true. The story of the Four Seasons ❤❤❤ RIP Tommy De Vito 🇮🇹
Definitely going to see this. All of the good music was made in the 50's, 60's & 70's...a handful of good music in the 80's...after that, it all turned to shit. Always loved Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.
Can't wait to see this movie. Hope that trailer for Disney's upcoming Into the Woods adaptation from the director of Chicago and the creator of Sweeney Todd. comes out soon.
Alex McGillvrey I just hope it's good for now, lol. It's being directed by Rob Marshall who also directed Chicago and Nine, both of which I liked. Though he also last directed Pirates of the Caribbean 4, so I'm a bit nervous.
IngenFiles Well I really did loved Rob Marshal's Chicago, which was a great movie. Also remember the last Stephan Sondidam to be made into a feature film, which was Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd.
Another reason why I'm looking forward to Into the Woods because it's Disney's first ever adaptation of a Broadway musical and I think Into the Woods was the perfect choice because we all know Disney is all about fairy tales. And with the show original write writing the screenplay. hopefully this musical will be a million times better than that horrible animated remake of The King and I, which was nothing like the original Rodgers and Hammerstein classic.
So excited for this! Looks like they kept it true to the stage production.... something that a lot of film adaptations of musicals have a hard time doing.
Totally Enjoyed ...Jersey Boys....when my song came out my tears...were just dropping from my eyes! Excited to hear songs that I didn't know he sang....a Must See...movie.
I must see this movie because I love musicals and Christopher Walken, knowing that he'll probably be dancing in this movie is definitely the selling part for me.
I NEED TO SEE THIS. I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway a year ago and I loved it. I'm so excited, ever since I saw that this was going to be made into a movie on the list of upcoming films on IMDB like, five months ago. God I'm so psyched!!
Saw it on Broadway, seeing it at the Theater as well. I give Clint props for finding the Broadway guys to play Valli and the Seasons. All because lately musical adaptations get actors to play the roles. Starting in 1996: Madonna as Evita, sucked as a movie. Madonna came no where near Patti Lupone nor did the supporting cast. Then in 2004 Phantom of the Opera; Good movie but the only flaw was Gerard Butler as the Phantom. The Phantom should have been Seth MacFarlane or Howard McGillin. Lately in 08 with Mama Mia: Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and everyone else all sucked at vocaling.
Breathtaking trailer. It really grabs me at the end, at that last "ahhh" before the title was revealed. Beautiful stuff. I can't wait to see this movie. I usually dislike Eastwood's work, but this one is a definite watch, especially to hear those songs!!!!
Best movie I've ever seen!!! No better way to tell the classic rags to riches story of The Four Seasons! Easy 5 star rating! What are you all waiting for? Go out and see the masterpiece that is Jersey Boys!
The "Jersey Boys" Broadway Theater production was totally off the chain, the best I've ever seen. I hope the movie is even better, but that's going to take a lot of doing!
I saw this movie last night, it was pretty good, the actor who played Frankie Valli also played the lead in the musical (written by Bob Guadio & Bob Crew, who wrote a lot of the Four Seasons songs). I didn't know of all the financial problems in the group--it was kept hidden from the public--also didn't know that Valli lost a daughter who OD'd (also lost a stepdaughter), and that the character "Joey," who told Tommy about Frankie & Bob was, in real life, Joe Pesci (one of the best actors ever). The music was good, hard not to sing along during the movie, but no one can really duplicate the Four Seasons or Frankie Valli. I still enjoy their music.
Compared to the original songs performed by the four seasons, I think they improved sherry, my eyes adored you, can't take my eyes off you, and walk like a man. but beggin', who loves you, and december 63 were a shadow of the originals.
I liked this movie, sometimes the lead actors singing got a bit much but was still awesome. Cool background story behind all the hit songs but now I've got them all stuck in my head and can't get them out lol
i remember wanting to see this so bad yet no one would take me and because i had no job i couldn't go by myself, but was lucky enough to see it on broadway only 4 months later
This movie is so good, totally underrated! This movie always get's me in a good mood.
Same here :)

"Steals so much" seriously!?😂
It really annoys me when people think the bands name is The Jersey Boys. They are the Four Seasons!!!
actually they are Frankie Vallie and the four seasons
Actually Frankie valli and the four seasons wasn't the original four seasons. It was the four seasons but when it was just Frankie and some other people who weren't in the original band it was Frankie valli and the four seasons because there were four other people, none of which were in the original band
Madison Buss It isn't? Ok, just learnt something new.
Madison Buss The Wonder who?
Omg thank you! That annoys me so much, the movie/musical is jersey boys but they are the four seasons😂
I remember seeing this in the theaters back in 2014 with my parents never having heard of the four seasons and loving it so much. There was so much emotion in this movie Frankie Valli went through some emotional roller coasters in his life and hardships.
If you would have told somebody 40 years ago that Clint Eastwood would direct a movie-musical, they would have laughed in your face.
He was originally going to direct another musical starring Beyonce.
Clint Eastwood WAS IN a musical. Look up Paint Your Wagon; it's an old movie but he sang in it with his acting role. There's even a soundtrack for it
i checked into the hotel they were shooting this at.
just saw this movie and it was much better than i expected it to be. Solid film making and the ending was an unexpected surprise. Loved Clint Eastwoods sneaky little cameo too.
Most underrated movie ever, one of Clint Eastwood's finest.
My gf and I both like their music and went to watch this together, everyone was old I felt young lol. I'm 18 and I love this band I've listen to them since I was little and it was one of the best movies I've seen I loved it!
Wow, your parents raised a great person!
it is ridiculous how excited i am for this. yes, i am but 23 years old. saw the musical once live and can't get enough of it. i was seriously born in the wrong decade.

Haven't gone to the movies since 2010. I'm definitely going to see this.
Wow 2010
joshua parker I've never had a reason to go. I just waited until my friends bought the movie and watched it at their houses.
Don't worry....a lot of people do that since it's so cheap to rent movies now. We only go if it's a movie that we really want to see on a big screen. Other than that we wait till summer to go to the drive in. Two movies, one cheap ticket, and we bring our own food. 100 times better than any movie theater
MizzKQ The drive in!!!!
MizzKQ Thats awesome! Dam wish we had drive in theatres here!
Please don't tell me I'm the only one who is very excited to see this movie. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons music was so original and authentic I am so glad they made a movie about them and not just any director , Clint Eastwood ! You can tell it is going to be good !
Needs more Cowbell.
Saw this play about a year ago in Vegas, loved it. Nice to see some talent involved in this movie, I'm excited.
This was one of the best movies I have seen and will ever see, and is definitely one I will never forget.
Vincent Piazza who played Tommy deserves recognition.
he should have won an oscar for best supporting actor
Carol Soressi I saw him more as a lead
Loved him in Broadwalk empire
He is amazing in this! Wow.
I watch this yesterday June 22 2014 I have to say THIS WAS THE FREAKIN BEST MOVIE EVER!!
I cannot wait! It looks so faithful! Don't let me down, Eastwood.
Gives me goosebumps just to watch this, and when I watch the movie.... I receive motivation
Jersey Boys is just amazing. I got very emotional just watching it. Worth every penny.
I simply can't wait. Seen it twice, once on Broadway and once again on tour.
Saw it twice already. And I'm gonna see it a third time!
Daniel The Greaser haha same, but i have seen it like 9 Times now, love this movie
I told my brother this would be Vincent Piazza's role that would send him into the next stratosphere career wise and after seeing the trailer I'm sure of it
Agreed I've always wanted him to have more screentime
When Clint Eastwood publicly said this was his favorite band/music in his youth.. he's going to do an amazing movie. Can't Wait!
I've seen the show three times ... twice on Broadway and once in Las Vegas. And now I'm so looking forward to the film!
I can’t stop hearing and seeing this great movie simply is too good to be true
10 years later.
I want to see that movie again, again and again!!!!!!
never heard of these boys before-- now I'm defo buying their music! it's amazing! so ready for this film!
Clint Eastwood have made a wonderful movie again, based on a true story. The actors explain their lives while they perform the movie. The last act is a masterwork that we used to see for those years.
This is one of the greatest movies. 🥰
Unfortunately, today Tommy DeVito passed away 😥
I consider this movie too good to be true. The story of the Four Seasons ❤❤❤
RIP Tommy De Vito 🇮🇹
I've been dying to see the play! I can't wait for this movie!
Definitely going to see this. All of the good music was made in the 50's, 60's & 70's...a handful of good music in the 80's...after that, it all turned to shit. Always loved Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.
No matter what music you listen to, I'd recommend this movie highly. Get in touch with a different generation, and appreciate the sound.
Can't wait to see this movie. Hope that trailer for Disney's upcoming Into the Woods adaptation from the director of Chicago and the creator of Sweeney Todd. comes out soon.
We'll probably see that trailer closer to fall rather than summer.
IngenFiles Either way, hope Into The Woods gets a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars next year.
Alex McGillvrey I just hope it's good for now, lol. It's being directed by Rob Marshall who also directed Chicago and Nine, both of which I liked. Though he also last directed Pirates of the Caribbean 4, so I'm a bit nervous.

Best movie I've seen this year. Honestly amazing!!
THIS MOVIE IS UNBELIEABLE! THERE IS NOTHING CLINT EASTWOOD CAN'T DO!
Greetings Kristy, how are you feeling today? 🌹
Just saw the Broadway show yesterday after seeing the movie in theaters. The movie holds true to the show
Best musical movie ever
I agree!
I was so happy I saw the stage prod in SYD that I was praying so hard that they bring the film to MNL. Glad they did :)
The Broadway musical was AMAZING. I have yet to watch the movie
I must see this movie because I love musicals and Christopher Walken, knowing that he'll probably be dancing in this movie is definitely the selling part for me.
Loved it when I saw it on Broadway. Can't wait for the movie adaptation!
I like how they show a clip of Clint Eastwood on the TV.
1:52 Love this song
I NEED TO SEE THIS. I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway a year ago and I loved it. I'm so excited, ever since I saw that this was going to be made into a movie on the list of upcoming films on IMDB like, five months ago. God I'm so psyched!!
Finally something worth watching.

Can someone tell me where I can find the 1:25 piano version of Can't Take My Eyes Off You???? PLEASE!!
The John Lloyd young version has a piano
Cannot wait for this movie! The musical great, so hopefully this will be too!
Breathtaking trailer. It really grabs me at the end, at that last "ahhh" before the title was revealed. Beautiful stuff. I can't wait to see this movie. I usually dislike Eastwood's work, but this one is a definite watch, especially to hear those songs!!!!

Greetings Jennifer, how are you feeling today? 🌹
Its great that they got the guy to play frankie and have the voice
Movie is gonna rule!
Saw the Broadway show twice on tour and loved it just as much the second time I saw it. Hoping to see the movie on Monday. =)
This will be great. Eastwood directing and John Logan writing the screenplay. Also hope it shows a lot of walken as he is a great actor
Best movie I've ever seen!!! No better way to tell the classic rags to riches story of The Four Seasons! Easy 5 star rating! What are you all waiting for? Go out and see the masterpiece that is Jersey Boys!
Great Band, great songs, great movie 👍🏼
My favorite song in the movie is what a night.😊😊😊
1:24 kinda threw me off whose directing this movie
I know it seems more like a Martian Scorsese film.
same however it just goes to show how amazing of a director clint eastwood being able to direct more than one type of genre
You must be young.
The musical is my favourite, and I've seen Wicked on broadway and I still liked this better.
Finally, a movie I can actually look forward to.
Can't wait for this!!! One of my favourite musicals :D
I love these types of movies. Can yall recommend any?
The "Jersey Boys" Broadway Theater production was totally off the chain, the best I've ever seen. I hope the movie is even better, but that's going to take a lot of doing!
Just saw this tonight. Awesome movie.
I love their accents omg
i must say i would see it again for sure
Cant wait for this movie to release. Love the. Four seasons been waiting for a movie like this since The Temptations
Agree and Kudos To Eastwood
great movie. amazing music

Compared to the original songs performed by the four seasons, I think they improved sherry, my eyes adored you, can't take my eyes off you, and walk like a man. but beggin', who loves you, and december 63 were a shadow of the originals.
the movie was super cool!
who was the best actor that fit the actual person?
great story!
I liked this movie, sometimes the lead actors singing got a bit much but was still awesome. Cool background story behind all the hit songs but now I've got them all stuck in my head and can't get them out lol
Another great movie by Clint!
