I don't understand. Royce's song was 12 minutes, according to Crook, he cut out a lot of things that would be too disrespectful. Royce released his song first so technically he was of the same mindset as Lupe but just didn't release it. I don't know why people won't accept they had issues before the rap battle talk. watching the podcasts Lupe already had a problem with talking too recklessly but just acting like it's all jokes. made me think they were good friends til realizing they weren't. from a different perspective Royce could have seen reaching out for the podcast and being active in the battler stream circle as a lookout but then suddenly when egotistical battle bar rappers start throwing out their ordinary claims of being the best, it seems like the outcome is everybody secretly wanting to see Royce get jumped on. after the last diss the immediate response was like omg casket Royce just talking and not responding. he's obviously expecting to get jumped on by more than Lu and Mickey and has an internal struggle going on. it's hilarious on the podcast Lu is joking with Royce about the RPG and Royce flips to the high pitched voice like "naaaahhhhhh I don't know what you're talking about maaaan" but I bet right now he's like sheeeeit they pushing my back to the wall where my rocket launcher is hanging.

I feel like this is just a scenario where slaughterhouse is getting back the energy they put out for years when they now are no longer ready for it.
