These reactions give me life, y'all. I only discovered Opeth myself about 7, maybe 8 years ago when I heard Blackwater Park, and that shit STOMPS. Anything off that you haven't heard would be great. But also I love their newest stuff, the mix of progressive metal and progressive rock they're into now. I know a lot of their old school fans never really forgave them for going away from the black metal sound and only listen to the early releases but that direction is THERE in most of their early stuff. It's obvious that's where Mikael's heart lies and his muse needed to go. Something like the title track from Sorceress is a badass example of that, or literally anything from Pale Communion. Their latest. In Cauda Venenum. is amazing too. What I'm saying is: I honestly don't think you can go wrong with Opeth. I know there's people who agree with me that love all types of music like you two do. Enjoy your journey, and know that this dude is gonna be right here to follow along with you.

I’ve seen Opeth live probably 10+ times live (though not in the last few years) and there is no such thing as a normal closing song for them. They vary their live set list completely each tour as far as I can tell. They just don’t approach touring like a typical band with “hit songs”. It’s cool because you’ll hear new song live for the first time every time you see them.

Masters Apprentice is from the same album, bit heavier though. A more mellow yet interesting song would be A Fair Judgement or Windowpane. Burden is cool as well, bit different sound wise though.

Opeth is my favorite band of all time. Someone asked me what artist discography I would take to a deserted island. The answer was easy - OPETH. One Opeth song is 100 different songs. Great reaction guys, love that you don't stop the video like other reaction channels.

Glad i found this channel. Love both of your energy and passion for music. Opeth to me is the second best prog metal band of all time. The album Deliverance is in my top 2 of best prog albums off all time. My first choice is Images And Words by Dream Theater. As as Swede im so proud of our brethren Opeth 🤘

God I love your reactions!! The most amazing thing about them is that they can perform live like few other bands. I've seen them three times and they blew me away over and over.
Now I'm telling you they are the most consistant band I know. They have put out 13 albums and every single song is worth a listen. Although, if you're wondering where to go next, I would suggest The Drapery Falls or Godhead's lament. Also, if you want to discover their softer side, Face of melinda, Burden, Windowpane and Harvest are all Wonderful Songs

Bro. If you want one of the crown jewels of death metal: Blackwater Park by Opeth. It's the closing song to their album Blackwater Park, and it's an engulfing, deathly riff-ride from start to finish.

Damn Opeth are great. I need help finding a new Opeth since I`ve been obsessing over their music for many years now, never getting tired of their catalog. As a Swedish music lover I`m so sad it took so many years before I found them. Probably due to the harsh vocals. Defenitly up there with the greatest bands ever in any genre.

I saw other reactors doing this song but I waited because on that strange live stream you said you were doing it. Now I'm listening to it with you a second time and cranking it up some more. Yummy!
