      Se ve bien pero algunos detalles a tomar en cuenta el flashing de las ventanas debe ir arriba de el 1x4 trim y las cajas de electricidad deben ir con flashing antes de poner las hojas para prevenir que entre agua en la casa también veo que el trim board para dividir el gable le falta flashing

    • @josemanzo7599
      @josemanzo7599 2 года назад +2

      Oo también las hojas deberían ir un 1/4 in arriba del flashing del band board para prevenir que se dañe con el 💦

    According to JamesHardie the cut edges are supposed to be primed, but I don't see anyone putting primer on any cut edges. Looks like the installer just voided any warranty you think you had.
    Board and batten came about from a western USA building technique that didn't use a stud wall framing. It used a heavy wood frame at the corners and along the top of what was to be the wall. Vertical boards joined the upper wood frame (like a top plate) and the lower or upper edge of the outer floor beams, like a sill plate in stud platform framing. Then battens were added to one of the vertical planks to create a solid wall. Battens were only nailed to one vertical board to allow for expansion and contraction.

    I hope you made them re-do the siding on the back, they totally messed it up, probably because of your foundation mistake, but they should be able to adjust and make those windows turn out far better.

      That and I never to primed hardie on the west cost. Anyone here wish there was a better way to install the 4 x 10 sheet that weigh 110 pounds. Let me know please.
      I'm investing a tool to help with the panel installs.
