I've never had a chopper so I ordered this exact one about a week and a half ago. Got the extra battery optical flow and the transmitter upgrade. Can't wait for it to get here! Thanks for your video! 😎✌️
Dude, she looks really cherry really nice. I like how you painted the turbine outlets. I build a lot of scale model so I have a really nice airbrush and I plan on doing mine in a titanium color.
my ERA C138 problem despite having set the gyro on a flat surface, the helicopter goes forwards and to the right, even when the trimmers are fully adjusted in the other direction...
First, place heli on a flat surface. Then turn on the transmitter and then the heli. Bind. Then pull both sticks to the lower left. Hold it there for 2seconds. The heli led will blink and the gyro is calibrated. Next hold the throttle trim down for 2seconds until the TX led blinks. Now you are in the parameters menu. Take off and hover the helicopter. Adjust the trims for aileron and elevator as required to get a steady and balanced hover. You are basically adjusting the servos positions within the gyro for a level swash plate. Once happy, while still hovering, push down the throttle trim again and the led light on the TX goes solid. Land and switch all off. You can restart and check and repeat if needed.
@@Flight6677 I've already done this but it goes forward to the right very quickly and I have to trim almost all the way back to stabilize it even after I've adjusted the gyro.
@@Raptor50aus on these helicopters the beeper has been ok. There is no other way you know the state of the battery other than making your own connectors to fit on the battery terminals and attaching it to a battery meter to read the volts per cell. It’s been ok to rely on the model setting as it’s the first line of defense. The second is the heli will slowly land. One more thing is that these heli from RC ERA use lithium ion batteries and not lithium polymer. Lithium ion batteries are less finicky and sensitive.
@@Mikeylikesit1968 I am not sure that’s possible - I know you can change the pitch but think the head speed is already programmed in the flight controller. Need to check. Does anyone here know if it’s possible?
I watched a video where someone was using their own Tx (RadioMaster t16s), which made it fly with a faster head speed, which livened it up a bit, at the cost of battery life. I'm yet to see one where it's possible on the stock Tx, but that's not saying it can't be done.

I think I will get one. Thanks for showing how nice it can fly.

Yes, I plan to do that with a spare C123 fuselage. Lots of things we can do to make them look even more scale.
Nice!
So if this heli flew for about 10 min then only fly for about 7 min max
if you find setting fast let me know
I have a Red one with Upgraded Radio and 2 Batts on the way from RC ERA Direct. 😊
some time if hit the ground the battery will pop out happened even u tight

@@did3d523 do it again. This sometimes takes a few tries as you slowly adjust the swash for level hover.
@@Flight6677 trim change during the fly... how to accelerate the mototr speed?
@@did3d523 why do you want to do that? In parameter mode you can also increase or decrease pitch angle. I do t think you can increase speed of rotor.
How is it an upgraded radio, when it don't have all the features? Put a transparent tape on that battery next time
@@norbipuhl111 It’s upgraded per RC ERA for the C138 model in that the gimbals are better quality.
mine go front no trim possible and gyro setting on flat plane change nothing
Please for all novice heli pilots DO NOT rely on a beeper by then its too late. Use a timer to fly any RC heli. Your batteries will like you too :)

That’s normally good advice, but these proprietary batteries have a protective circuit cutoff like your cell phone, supposedly
Hi nice, can it handle winds better than C189 ? Thanks
@@frankl8440 it’s about the same as the C189 for handling winds.
@Flight6677 wow that is impressive. Thought c189 would fair better due to brushless motors. Thx
Hi what blinks to indicate low battery thanks
The LED lights blink to indicate low battery and time to land.
Thank you 🙏

Upgraded radio means 6 channel ...
Upgraded radio means that the gimbal’s are different. That is the only thing.
