Today, is a very tough day for me to recover my comfort with this meditation from feelings of anxiety, worry, doubt, and uncertainty regarding the resignation of Pres. Joe Biden and the campaign beginning for Kamala Harris to oppose Donald Trump for the upcoming national election for the USA Presidency. Nothing during the meditation I did was helpful. I finally found some relief when you said let the mind go where it will; and then it wanted to find relaxation and I felt a large relief from effort. Right now, I don't know what to make of it, but I am hoping that given more time I will have gained some valuable lesson from this experience. I am as always so thankful to you for helping me along the way.

This meditation reminded me that though I have a sure aim in my life. My daily upkeep of that aim needs to be nurtured. I know what I want to do, but I spend each day reacting to my life instead of having a plan of attack and executing it while climbing over the barriers along the way.

I noticed tonight that this meditation involved thoughts and feelings that were related to uncertain outcomes related to the stress of a marital relationship that has really gone sour. Deep down within me there is a fear of abandonment and being left alone to fend "all by myself". I was very angry a bit earlier in the day, but I was able somehow to recall the meditation(s) on anger and was able to release or "dissolve" the anger and found a better way to cope. The same is true about fear of abandonment and being left alone produced a solution that on the surface appears to be a good one. I suspect that I owe some of the credit to you guys.

This morning, this meditation was, without noticeable effort, the most satisfying and successful meditation for uncertainty that I have ever done.
I am soooo pleased and thankful to you for being here to provide it that words do not suffice to explain it.

I think maybe the following 2 observations might be useful: Exposing yourself to too much news, especially as seen and heard on the TV, will be very stressful and will cause you discomfort. But, using this guided meditation, and including a very deep, blowing expiration through the mouth and upper lip
and the sound of your breath, will help you release and let go of the discomfort so that you become aware of the difference. You may also have the thought that you do not have the power to change all these stressful situations in the news.

This morning's meditation for uncertainty increased my understanding how thoughts that remain unresolved can lead to uncertainty, worry, fear, and even anxiety, but with practice I can learn to dissociate and let pass away the unresolved thoughts, (for another day or time) and not suffer the
    consequences of unresolved questions.

In prior comments I said that uncertainty and worry are just inevitable parts of living our lives in a topsy-tervy world. But I was mistaken! We will experience these thoughts and feelings but with meditation practice we can learn not to let thoughts and feelings like these take hold of us by learning to let go of them through retraining our minds with powerful DTM meditations.

I have noticed for a long time that some people do not deal well with uncertainty or not knowing. The narrator of this meditation mentioned that these people may be reacting by feeling worried by uncertainty. When this happens many of these people will fabricate some explanations not based on any facts they possess. So apparently these people are possibly feeling worried. Yet there are other people who actually have worries that can lead to anxiety; and yet the worrriers who also have clinical anxiety may be perfectly at ease with not knowing! These observations are mentioned here because the people who know that they don't know are troubled by people who offer explanations for things they really don't know. Now hear this: I don't Know.
