- Missouri Foxtrotters from Miller-Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona are world renowned for their Cadillac gaits and extensive trail training; here you witness their beauty and gracefulness in one of the most scenic spots in the world. Inside the Painted Mountains, you will not find any other white men, just wild donkeys, burros and the riders from Miller-Ranch atop their surefooted Missouri Foxtrotters. Attention-the trail on the last day cannot be recommended for someone who has a fear of heights.

Thoroughly enjoyed this film - would love to join in one day! Monument Valley is so beautiful. The horses are wonderful..... thank you for sharing.
Has been there twice. Perfect.
Am hoping to do this ride soon! It would be a dream. I have 3 Missouri Foxtrotters and wouldn't own anything else. Would look forward to riding Miller Ranch MFT's. They appear well conditioned and of course well trained and well mannered. They are true ambassadors for this wonderful breed!
Thank you so much for posting this spectacular film.

beautiful horses with smooth impressive gait
Thank you very much!
Well done video! I felt like I was there!!!
Thanks enjoyed this video. Your horses move along nice and smartly
Life on horse is wonderful. I lov it. Wonderful movie.
Hi from London I really enjoyed your video how lovely to see the beautiful landscape and watch how the Horses worked through the terrain.
I felt saddened though at the thought of the people losing their land and how that way of life has gone but through the trail I can feel the power of a Nation and people being reborn.
It was not"their "land.
Wow, I wasn’t to far away from there, when I visited Yellowstone. Would have been nice to have known more about it at the time.
Perfect music for this video.
Nice Adventists. I wonder why people in the desert would share water. They must like people and have compassion.
i love horses and dogs and # one my wife of 52 years == was the land there mined ? loved the people and great cam work
What a fun trail ride! And you have such excellent horses.
I own, or should I say, am owned by MFT, are you open to the public? I would LOVE to do this!
We have 2 places open for May 2020 no trail in September in 2020
Such fun. Would love to go with you sometime. Judy and I have put this on our bucket list for the future!
It's sad that they don't make moves like that anymore 😢😢
👍Great from Germany
que bonitos paisajes y el viaje estupendo felicidades
Gracias, ese es un viaje que recordarás toda tu vida.
Not knocking those Foxtrotters, however they seem to walk too fast in the rocks, not careful enough. I did see a couple scary foot placements. ?
I have already replied to another comment. As I see from your comment you don't know the Missouri Fox Trotter. The best way is to ride a Missouri Fox Trotter in difficult terrain and they understand the breed much better. Be careful, if you ride one, you also want to own one.
Having had walkers, trotters, quarter horses and mules the gaited horses will get you there quicker, but a mule will keep you safe on slick rock. Been there and done that. San Rafael Swell, Utah. Btw, I'll betcha' your guide's last name is Begay...
Parabéns pela cavalgada, pelos animais e sobre tudo pelas imagens. A raça destes cavalos é Magalarga Machador? Todos de andamentos muito confortáveis. Parabéns
A raça destes cavalos é Missouri Fox trotter.
Awesome 👍
Great video--Your horses are wonderful horses! Love my Papagena! One day, would love to go with you!
Judy
+Judy Nordquist what is in 2016 Spring or Fall? we have nice people in both groupe. Spring and fall are 2 place still open!
@@MillerRanchArizona Well, it is 2020 are you still organizing these rides....looking at Sept/Oct. Tks !
Fantastique
Do you have to have a Navajo guide?
Yes we have Ness for over 20 years
What the breed ?
Missouri Foxtrotters
Que região é esta que vocês estão cavalgando?
We
Why isnt taking tourists into Navajo land left to the Navajos?
I know for a fact that the Navaho that live in that area live in poverty yet your film didn't capture that just saying .
The subject for this film was a trail ride in Monument Valley with Missouri Foxtrotters. The life of the Navajos is a completely different subject. That would have required a completely different preparation as well.
Yes, fair point. 👍🧡🌈
MV does not belong to the Navajo
WHO OWNS MV?
Sembrate una bella Famiglia Ciaoo🌹❤️
who else is here from RDR2
Not necessarily from rdr2 though I currently cant stop playing lol, I just really like foxtrotters I wish they would have implicated the gaits into the foxtrotters in game

I'm from R2D2.

😀😁😂🤣😃😄😅
A mustang would’ve treated u better on the rocks
Thanks for the comment. We've been riding in Monument Valley with our Navajo guide for 25 years now. Twenty-five years ago on our first ride, he had his Mustang with him. Unfortunately the Mustang could not keep up the pace of the Missouri Fox Trotter. Since then our Navajo guide rides a Missouri Fox Trotter. In the meantime he also has his own Missouri Fox Trotter. Mostly we bring him one of ours. We ride not only in the desert but also on the paths of the wild burros in the mountains. No Mustang moves there. The alternative to a Fox Trotter would be a mule. But this mule should have gait ability. In the other case he could also walk on the rocky paths but not keep up the speed of the Fox Trotter. We using also Duplo shoes. ruclips.net/video/E0-jTnr2f-k/видео.html
