I like living in a tower because of sound, security, bugs, convenience. I grew up in California which is earthquake country. I like living in a tower but when the ground starts shaking I have instant regret, it doesn’t matter what floor I’m on.
Mactan Newtown is small and there’s no huge mall. I like IT park. It has a smaller Ayala Bloc mall and lots of restaurants. Cebu Business Park is busy because of the Ayala Mall but quiet after 10pm. Im here in Cebu now staying at a hotel near the Ayala Mall.

This was a nice change from the usual Filipina, this, and Filipina that, videos typically shown about the Philippines. I'm making plans to head that way, and I was looking on Airbnb for short term housing. It was confusing at best, Of course I had heard of IT Park, but little else. Now it's more clear, thank you.
Sabrina was my agent and did a fantastic job for me. She lined up several condo unit viewings for me and all I had to do was take my pick out of the 8 or 9 viewings she set up for me. I chose Solinea and I enjoy living there very much. It was a great experience and I can't recommend her enough.
The housing rental market has dropped significantly in Manila, rents are declining because of a oversupply of housing, has that been the case as well in Cebu where as a result rental prices are declining? Secondly this video would have been far more interesting had you actually shown video of each of the properties (in terms of the interiors of the building) for a better idea or feel for each property.
I have a question about the fire departments in Cebu city. Do they have hook and ladder trucks? How high up can I live where they can still rescue me in case of a fire?
Not reasonable by any stretch of the imagination. We bought land me and my asawa and built 7 years ago. Did look at Cebu condos and they were nice then covid happened. Having to fly there all the time to stay at a condo changed our mind.
For an option, the expats can do a research for any of Cebu’s doctor that they think can manage their health condition before decided to come over here.
If you're interested in paying far too much for a condominium that will lose it's value as quickly as possible go to the Philippines! It's an over priced and over hyped filthy destination (the PI is the India of SE Asia).
@ I really loved the pool and beach area. They also have a Landers and several new restaurants being built. Being close to the airport is another bonus

What about fire hydrants? Do they exist. In Cha Am they do not and found this out after a huge fire.

• Price Range: ₱25,000 - ₱35,000/month
USD Equivalent: $446 - $625/month
2. 1-Bedroom Units
• Price Range: ₱40,000 - ₱75,000/month
USD Equivalent: $714 - $1,339/month
3. 2-Bedroom Units
• Price Range: ₱80,000 - ₱100,000/month
USD Equivalent: $1,429 - $1,786/month

Don't come to Cebu if you need to be close to hospitals. The medical care is ok but not up to western standards.

I visited all or these areas and Mactan Newtown is my choice if I decide on Cebu.
