    I've been in Davao for 12 months, worked in Oman, Dubai, & Indonesia for many years. I have only done day visits to Manila and Cebu, but you keep mentioning Davao is so clean and organized with everyone following the driving laws. I do find Davao to feel very safe, as long as you travel smart but I apply these same rules when I'm in the USA which allow me to feel very safe there also. Perhaps by Philippine standard your comments about cleanliness and driving are true, but what I have experienced is that there are very few true sidewalks except on primary roads. The sidewalks are often very close to the main road which is dangerous. Yes there is generally no large standing trash but there is alot of dirt such that you can't wear your outdoor shoes in the house. The driving is only safe bc the traffic speed is at a moderate speed, there are plenty of motorcycles here on the road as in most places in Philippines.

    it definitely could be the case that Filipinos are more sensitive and in general I believe that it's true. But being sensitive is also subjective because foreigners who overreact is a form of sensitivines as well. What also could be the case is that Filipinos have mass collective trauma because of being colonised for 400 years. The Philippines is still a developed country and it doesn't seem to change overnight any time soon. This all can contribute as well to being more sensitive. I want to end my comment with that we regular people love to discuss matters like these. But in science doctors and professors are not allowed to do research on these matters due to woke regulations. The science about the differences between races does exist but it is considered to be racism and discrimination. Those who talk about it on universities get fired and cancelled. I think it is not fair. Even in religion, Islam, there are references that we have differences between the mutiple races not only in color but also behavior.

      I really appreciate learning more of your perspective whenever you comment so thank you for taking the time. it’s a good point that foreigners who overreact as a form of sensitivity as well. But I’m not so sure about the impact of colonization because I don’t see that in other countries that have been colonized for a long time. it’s difficult for me to share my thoughts because I really do love Filipino culture and that’s why I’m so grateful to live in the Philippines but at the same time it is confusing to me why people here will be quick to be upset if I say something that even seems close to negative. I say negative things about my culture all the time and when others say negative things about American culture I typically agree because there is a lot wrong with American culture. I wish that I could speak with Filipinos about differences in our culture and good things and not so good things without that being offensive to Filipinos

    On datingsites many Asian women say that locals are not good men, that they cheat and not treat their women with respect. They believe that foreigners are the opposite. I feel so sorry for them. Hope they can adjust their expectations and live in reality.

    • @chocolatecookie8571
      @chocolatecookie8571 13 часов назад

      @@WatchCaliforniaExpat correct. We should not believe everything these Filipinas say. Indonesian women same story. From what I see is that they don't want to make the effort to find a local. A foreigner has more to offer financially and that is their main goal. They also have a desire to live in a Western country. They already have a bit of a Western mindset when they go online. Often times they waste their time looking for that foreigner, years pass by, and they havent achieved nothing.

    • @WatchCaliforniaExpat
      @WatchCaliforniaExpat 9 часов назад

      @@chocolatecookie8571 Maybe, though it seems to me that most Filipinas start by dating Filipino guys and then decide at some stage they want to date a foreigner guy. Though some Filipinas only want to date Filipinos too. I interviewed one Filipina about this ruclips.net/video/4xvRe0yWC90/видео.htmlsi=rdsVXSCppsERycdk

    6:50 in Indonesia the same. If the Indonesian employer is not happy with the employee they will not say it directly. They more prefer to stay quiet about it and expect you to find another job. Btw, the story about Filipino bosses punching holes in the wall cannot be taken serious, lol. People who say those stories keep them at distance. They talk nonsense.

In some of my videos I cover my face with a cookie. I had some bad experiences in the past that's the reason. I wish internet was a save place but it isn't. @@WatchCaliforniaExpat thank you, sir. But I also understand that others cannot figure out who I am which can be confusing for them. But we don't all have the intention to become a serious youtuber so that makes it less of a big deal. It is a bit a modern thing to expose yourself to the public someting that was unheard of 20-30 years ago. Now everyone from mother to dog seems to be online sharing every piece and bit of their personal lives. I wished I could share more about myself but I am afraid to do so. I lost trust in my fellow humans a bit and have become slightly paranoid due to what I've been through. But I'm still within the healthy borders of mental sanity with some moments of light psychosis now and then, lol.

Awesome and very organize.

    Age gap of beyond 10yrs is based on what you can provide...the larger the gap the more will be expected in terms of financial security..noone in their 20s wants someone 40+ its just common sense...be respectful and understand what first opens that door will be based on age and attraction...women are very visual and want security...if you cant provide one..know its the other they want...always exceptions to the rule but consider what you look for in a partner would you yourself consider a person 20 plus yrs your senior...prob not..the advantage for a Joe is that security so some may be willing to look past the age..but if your not respectful..decent..honest..good attitude type..can forget it
