I’m happy to see that you left in the part about just because it’s 100% free doesn’t necessarily mean you can use it dafont should honestly only be used for class projects at this point. There are tons of other font site like design bundles which gives you a license for everything. As a designer i would say stay away from dafont with a ten foot pole

Can customers edit a template made with an uploaded font?

Yes, but they will only be able to use the uploaded font on the design shared with them. They can't extract or "steal" the font from you.

@@DoingDigitalWithMegan I had the same question. I started an Etsy shop and wanted to sell invitations made in Canva with an uploaded font, but was afraid the uploaded font wouldn't show up for customers when they clicked the link to edit. I'm so glad to know they will still be able to use it in my design!

@@DoingDigitalWithMegan hello, want to confirm, uploading font is only for canva pro, is it? So if I sell template on etsy, does my buyer need to have canva pro to see the font? Or it can be accessed without canva pro?

@@nanachaena4165 yes you can only upload fonts if you have the Pro version. The buyer does NOT need Pro to see the fonts but they will only be able to use the uploaded font in the design they've purchased. Hope this helps/makes sense!!

I put my font onto Canva, but when I type a word on my design, the font is not showing up.

Hmmm... try deleting it from going to brands under tools on the left, then uploaded fonts on the right, and click the trash icon. Then you can re upload the font back into Canva. It's worth a shot!

I've never seen this message before but from what I understand, it looks like that means you need your account administrator to upload the fonts. I'm not sure if that is helpful or not but hopefully you can figure out how to get this resolved soon!
