For anyone who tried adding hyperlinks with Free Canva version- it will do the underline with hyperlinking regardless and you won't be able to add it after grouping. I just did the free trial for the pro version and now all of the sudden, it's linking perfectly like hers did and without the lines underneath. Thought this might help those who ran into the same problems I did. This is only my second project ever on Canva and I don't think I could have found a better tutorial! I really appreciate you putting this out there and making it easy for us beginners to comprehend! New Subscriber!
This was very informative, though I found it very difficult adding the hyperlink. It seems like I have to hyperlink it prior to grouping. If that makes sense, however this was my first time creating one.
Great video! I'm definitely interested in the video you mentioned about applying a spiral to the cover, tabs on the top & how to make it look like you are opening the planner. Thanks!
Hi Megan, thank you so much for this. I actually created my first digital planner while watching this video. I've never done it before. I wasn't even that familiar with Canva. How much do you sell your digital planners for?
Loved this! So I was planning on doing more of a digital monthly journal, I would like to have the calendar and a weekly goals page but how could I add that for each month? And instead of doing like 30-31 pages a month for journaling is there a way to add and save new entries for each month?
Awesome tutorial. I'm just beginning to get into creating digital products to sell on Etsy once I open my shop. What are all of the platforms this digital planner can be used on? Thanks!
So far all the videos on Canva you are the easiest to follow! I am trying to create my own appointment planner. I found a template and trying to add in times for each day. I have tried everything to align the numbers. On Monday the numbers will align nicely BUT when I do the other days the alignment throws the numbers all over the page. I'm not sure what to do. What am I missing?
You're such a good teacher! You showed me how to get the base of it down and then we add to it loved the tutorial! SAME girl i used to love Halloween and then the spiritual things took over 🙃i realized it was opening lots of demonic doors. Thank you Jesus for opening my eyes!
I watched another video where she hyperlinked both the tab and Icon/Month because sometimes people click on either... and on your computer when you get the line under the link.. you can just remove it by clicking on the Underline Icon and it will get rid of it.
Hello, thanks for your videos. I wanted to ask you: I have the Pro version of Canva but if I work with it using its products or elements then the client When purchasing my products, must also have the Pro version of Canva? keep making good videos, greetings
I just tried this and it's not working for me either which is so odd - it worked when I made this video but now it's not. If something changes, I'll let you know in this comment section 👍
Super helpful video! Can you share how you are able to freely move objects? It always predictive places based on the other elements in the graphic. I hope that makes sense lol
I noticed you added some pro elements like the Halloween background. If we're selling editable templates, do you add that buyers need a pro account? Otherwise, they have to pay for the pro elements. Thanks
Meg, I'm new at creating digital planners. I would like to know what app or program do I use to use my digital planner on my desktop computer. I have a pc not a mac.
Thank you for the video, learned a lot. But what was the point for importing into goodnotes? Was it just to test out the planner to make sure the hyperlinks work? or is goodnotes the place where the planner will reside for customers?
This is a great question! Digital planners are used in digital planning apps, Goodnotes is is a highly popular digital planning app. The customer can access the planner in Canva but I always make sure you can use it on Goodnotes since that's what it's typically for. Hope this helps!
I’m new to this. Do these planners download into the apps you hear about like Goodnotes? Is there any special way of saving or resizing you have to do?
If you follow the sizing from this video, it should work in Goodnotes just fine. And all you need to do to get a planner like this into Goodnotes is download it from Canva as a PDF and then upload the PDF into Goodnotes. Hope this answers your question! ❤️
I would recommend just making a printable planner if you're looking to print it. It's the same concept, just without putting tabs on the pages and linking them if that makes sense. Hope this helps!
Great tutorial, followed along easily, ,but I got to nearly the end of my planner which ended up being 86 pages and then all of a sudden i couldn't copy and paste pages, it kept saying the document was to large despite the assistant saying you can have 100 pages. " throwing my arms up in the air" looks like i'll have to start from scratch!
This is a great question! If you have two files, you'll need to find a file merger to merge the two. As long as the files are saved as PDFs I think you should be able to still use the hyperlinks. Hope this helps!!
Is the hyperlink option/button on canva no longer a thing? I've playing around in it for sometime now trying to allocate it and to zero prevail! Can anyone help me with this?
Hmmm, I've never seen it not hyperlink. You may need to try hyperlinking just the text or just the tab instead of grouping both and hyperlinking it. Hope this helps!!
Thank you for a great tutorial. As I was following along with you in creating my planner, when I group the month and the tab, then right click to link, it doesn't show a link option. However, when they are ungrouped, I am able to select link. Also, when I select the month, then right clink, I am able to select link. Can you assist me with this issue?

I just updated to the pro version and it’s still underlining
@melanateddistortion it could be that you need to re-do the layers. I had to ungroup a lot of stuff but then it worked great.
Just remove the underline - The 'U' icon on top.
Mine linked and grouped in free version
@@HerGameOn mine didn't.
I watched so many videos, and I just want to say your voice and tone is perfect to listen too. Thank you for speaking clear and straight to the point.
Thank you Megan! While I was following along with you yesterday, I created my very first digital planner. Your video has been very helpful. :)
I love this video. Thank you. And yes, I’d love to see a video on making a digital planner like an open book.
This was very informative, though I found it very difficult adding the hyperlink. It seems like I have to hyperlink it prior to grouping. If that makes sense, however this was my first time creating one.
Thank you I was having the same problem and figured someone in the comments will help!!!!
same here, the hyperlink works only with text
Thank you, I was experiencing the same issue. Wondering If I'll be able to group after linking...hmmmmmm.
Same here
I figured out that I could ungroup the items, deselect, then reselect them and it will then give me the option to link!
One of the best tutorials I've seen. Thank you❤
Perfect! This was the first video I have found that takes you through a simple tutorial on how to create a digital planner. Thank you for sharing! ;)
Thank you so much! I'm so glad I could help! 😊
Best tutorial, much easier to understand. Thank you so much
Thank YOU! So glad I could help! 😊
Great video! I'm definitely interested in the video you mentioned about applying a spiral to the cover, tabs on the top & how to make it look like you are opening the planner. Thanks!
Thank you! Yes I will make another video about the spirals and tabs as well as how to add more pages than Canva allows. Be on the lookout for this! 😁
Your hardwork really appreciable ❤❤❤
Hi Megan, thank you so much for this. I actually created my first digital planner while watching this video. I've never done it before. I wasn't even that familiar with Canva. How much do you sell your digital planners for?

Super helpful! Appreciate your time sharing this with us! ❤
😍😍Teşekkür ederim gerçekten en ince ayrıntısına kadar anlatılmış 😄
Thank you for the tutorial! If I create a hyperlinked planner in Canva and then add pages later in Goodnotes, will it break the links?
Loved this! So I was planning on doing more of a digital monthly journal, I would like to have the calendar and a weekly goals page but how could I add that for each month? And instead of doing like 30-31 pages a month for journaling is there a way to add and save new entries for each month?

would it be possible to create a digital agenda with a cover to be opened and follow the hyperlinks?

How do you create a link that when you select a week row on the calendar it will take you to the week page?
Vacuum for certain moment, where you go? honest to say, huge thanks for your tutorial.

If they are going to be using a template, yes. If you are saving it for them to use elsewhere, it should be fine.
Wow! This was incredible! Thank you so much
Can you still use the planner using Goodnotes free version?
Thank you sooo much, this was great and i learned allot
Loved your tutorial,easy and clear.
This was very helpful. Thank you
Best tutorial 🥰
Love this, not sure why though but I do not have the option to add a link? New to canva so not sure what I may be doing wrong.
If I ungroup them I can link, but not if they are grouped...
I have this same problem

Yes
Can you also do this with a regular paper planner? I am trying to do tabs for my KDP planner. Thanks
Hmmm I'm not sure if this can be done with a paper planner. I'm not familiar with paper planners or the whole KDP thing but I will look into it!
@@DoingDigitalWithMegan thank you
Does this work on both iOS and Android users?
Loved this ! I love making these and digital sticker books but it is time consuming 😂 xx
Glad you enjoyed it! Making this kind of stuff is my love language 😂❤️
Sooo helpful! Thank you :)
Meg, I'm new at creating digital planners. I would like to know what app or program do I use to use my digital planner on my desktop computer. I have a pc not a mac.
Hi there, this is a great question! Unfortunately I'm not familiar with PCs but I think you can use OneNote for digital planning. Hope this helps!!
It’s not allowing my to link, even when I right click, link isn’t there

I was thinking since it is a digital planner then the customer will be able to write in it, so is it that the customer would just print and use as is?

I'm running into an issue where you can't LINK anything except Text elements. Anyone know a workaround?
I figured out that I could ungroup the items, deselect, then reselect them and it will then give me the option to link!
When I group the text and tab together my link option disappears THEN when I ungroup them the option comes back? Anyone know why this would happen??
Figured it out :)
