Jimmy always tells good stories.
I wonder what Jimmy Webb and the likes of his talent sincerely think about today's mainstream music. I personally just can't connect to it. It's all glitter, no substance.
Cool interview! What a time it must have been in LA in the late 60's, with this mass of incredible music being created, down in Hollywood & up in the hills, particularly in Laurel Canyon. Music was created that still endures today 50 years later. You think anybody will be listening to pukes like Kanye West 50 years from now? Jimmy Webb's music was the soundtrack of my life as a teenager, still affects me to this day, incredible genius!

Jimmy Webb is a genius but what is more important is.....what would he do if he was down and out...would his genius for music help him? I think not. He is a genius in music but not life....
Great funny stuff…one detail HAL BLAINE is not ITALIAN he is JEWISH! kind of funny and a understandable mistake to make.
