Matt, you have the best travel videos on youtube! Don't ever stop. We love watching you going off-road and showing the amazing beauty of the Southern Africa. Your video quality is so high and you have a great story telling. Greetings from Luxembourg!
This brought back so many memories from my days off national service in the '80's. I'm so relieved and gladenened that today it's a peaceful and stable place where you can enjoy the awesome beauty 😍.
We loved Ngepi sooo much too! As Well as the Caprivi strip. We were ther last year in June. Will definately go back to explore that area a bit more. 🦛❤️
Been watching a ton of American and other creators, and have been so inspired to get out and do the "adventure" thing. I am so glad I stumbled upon this local channel. I have no idea where the local trails are and where to camp etc. I am looking forward to binging your channel. I am planning to start with motorbike travel first. The dream is to do travel through Africa. Keep up the good work!
Wow, wow, wow. So many memeories. Thanks Matt & Nicole. Did I hear you mention that you are on your way to Katima Mulilo. Another great place on the Zambezi. Years ago, as a tracker, I flew (Army helicopter) from there to Jamba in Angola to get 8 lost SADF people out to Chetto (a temp SADF camp in the strip), mostly I remember HOT, flat and sandy.
Yes we did head through Katima! Although we didn’t stop - Our next leg of the journey we cross 4 borders in about 4 hours😂 Namibia to Bots to Zim to Zambia, and then back to Zim. So there wasn’t much time to explore.
Another great video, I have stayed at Mahango right next to Ngepi, also an epic spot I can recommend any day. Check the dove again, it must have been Emerald-spotted, as Blue-spotted only occur in the Eastern part of Southern Africa. Can't wait to get back up there!
The hippo in the backlight of the moon must have been one of those truly special moments. I can’t believe you caught that on camera!

Thankyou from a becoming older Aussie. I will probably never get to the places you are going so thankyou once again for giving me a look too.
