For the hoses, we use totes, like the ones that slide under a bed. We keep the clean stuff in one, the electrical stuff in another, and the sewer/cleaning stuff in another.

We do the same. But then again our rv is much larger with more storage space.

Us as well. Anything related to the sewer is ALWAYS kept in a separate container. Our unit is only 24.5’, so not much bigger.

For your various water hoses, if you connect the 2 ends of a hose together to store them, any water in the hose will not leak out. Also it prevents anything from getting into the hose. This will help with the cross contamination concerns.

I love that you cover up all the little lights in the trailer for nighttime. I do the same and everyone teases me! We’ve just purchased a new trailer so now I’ve got to figure out where are the sneaky lights are again.

I agree with Jason: the Smokey Joe is the best little grill! 👍Alisa, I am so impressed with how much you have been able to fit in that RV. And none of it feels crammed in, but usable and well organized. Bravo!👏👏👏

You can buy a roll of shelf and drawer liner that’s rubber like I actually forget what it’s called, looks kind of like lace, don’t know how to describe it but you can cut it to fit in your pots and pans to keep from rubbing and rattling, also works great under things on counter on the table. You can get it at Walmart, dollar stores, a large roll goes along way.

Wow camping has changed in 38 years. Last time was with my parents when our son was two. So happy for you. Camping brings families together. My parents and I ruffed it in a small travel trailer. It was small, but fun. Traveling and having a camp fire at night. Of course you have to have marshmallows. Best wishes on travels.

Sounds like a lot to maintain and travel with a RV. I wouldn't know where to begin if I had one. Love how you organized all of your belongings and have a minimal wardrobe. Lots of clothes can get out of hand and take up so much needed space.

We use that same power bank in our wood fire sauna in our backyard. It’s a two room shed with a wood fire stove. My husband also put a solar panel on the roof of the sauna to charge the power bank. He chose the product with hopes that it’ll be useful if we can ever get out camping again with our three boys. Great minds think alike!

You would think, that the RV company would install something to keep the cupboards closed when in motion/driving. For the price I'm sure you paid, that's really an oversight in design on the part of the RV company. Great video as always. And we dont own, a RV, but I cant miss an episode of EECC travels.

They won’t open if you put baskets to hold everything in - heavy stuff pushes against doors
They found a solution that works for them - we have the same rig but we put heavy stuff below and dishes in bins above ;)
It’s not a problem in these rigs typically ;)

What interested me was the temperature/humidity gauge as I am in the Low Country in S.C. and I have three Damp Rids hung in my pantry, bathroom, and bedroom closet next to the combo washer and dryer. I also have two dehumidifiers going at all times. It took me about 6 tries before I could read the name on your dehumidifier gauge so I could try to find them at Amazon. Since I got three, one for the living/dining/kitchen, one for the bathroom, and one for the bedroom (Cedar Creek 40CFK2) I imagine they will all have different readings (the biggest complaint.)
An RV tech told me "that running the air conditioner is enough" but I don't find that to be so.
My question for you: Does the one dehumidifier keep your RV dry enough so you don't wake up in a puddle every morning and have to keep your bed unmade until the sheets, pillows, and mattress pad dry out?

We have no drawers in our rv kitchen. It’s tough to organize everything in cabinets.

The broom with extension handle is cool. Looked and didn't see it on your Amazon page. Where did you get it and did the dustpan come with it.

It must no longer be available on Amazon because it was in our store at one point. I did buy it on Amazon. The dustpan didn’t come with it. I just picked that up at the grocery store.

Maybe I missed it in all the comments. Did the dealer ever fix or offer to fix non-working outlets on husbands side of bed?

We never got it to the dealer to get it done.

@@EECCTravels love the new van. My sis and I found your site when looking for cruise to take my kids, their spouses, and grandkids on. Right after getting back from Mardi Gras trip earlier this year. Have fallen in love with you and your husband since. In fact we will be going on NCL breakaway 2/5. So disappointed not able to do ya’ll group cruise week before. Although I keep trying to convince my sister to do Europe one next year 🤞

Great video guys, we have a 23tw on order, hoping to take delivery in June or July. It was nice to see how much you actually store in the RV compared to our Travel Trailer we just sold. Was thinking we may need a box on the back for extra storage, but will hold off until we have a couple trips under our belt first. Again thanks for doing the video.

Oh it holds sooo much! We never were able to not bring something because of space.

Interesting tour although RV life is not for us. Did the twins travel with you? Or did they graduate already?

    • @EECCTravels
      @EECCTravels  2 года назад

They have graduated and started working so they can’t travel with us much as they used too.
