Great video, thanks for the comparison it's really helpful! Been missing my GX-100 since I sold it, definitely planning on picking up a GX-10 since it gives me everything I need from the 100.
If they are the same technology dsp, what is the reason for the different power requirements? 600 MA vs 1200 MA. Also, is there a difference between the two in latency?
I suspect the additional power requirement for the GX-100 are due to the increased number of LED for the footswitches and the amp switching relay that isn't on the GX-10. Also given the GX-10 is a newer design, Boss may have done some work optimizing the the power requirements. Latency is the same. Thanks for watching, TJ
IDK why they change them. The silver knobs are also used on the SY-1000, GM-800, and other Boss pedals and gear. I do like the black knobs better. Thanks for watching, TJ

What are the buttons 1 2 3 4 for? Preset patches?
The numbered footswitches are for either effect, bank, or preset selection.

Black knobs are possibly there because its easier to differentiate them and the buttons? Perhaps people were stepping on knobs on GX-100?
