I just did this about 30 mins ago to my fiesta st for a laugh as per your video. Sounds like a truck on tick over and a hair dryer on wide open throttle. Bolting it back up as we speak. It's embarrassing lol.
I don’t understand why RUclips has so many haters this is honestly a great idea he basically set up open exhaust just like a race car would have minus ditching the catalytic converter, it’s a great idea whether it sounds good or not the jury is still out, but for performance there isn’t much else to do other then bigger pipe, smart idea
It's amazing the shit I see people do to a car and call it a "mod"...like I believe I call this an exhaust leak, along with alot of other people, there are electric cutouts, open wastegates with dump tubes, fuck even straight pipes, but to unbolt your down pipe from your midpipe and the rest of the catback is no different then a I dunno flex pipe wearing out and leaking, or breaking a bolt and it leaking, and with all that said, you have an excellent chance of getting boost creep..happened alot on my first turbo car 16 years ago on my 91 Talon Tsi when I got a down pipe leak before I replaced it with a 3inch it would creep and get fuel cut. That was back in the day, seriously tho spend the money and do it somewhat right, get an electric diverter that you can bolt in there and it'll open and close your down pipe to your stock exhaust. Also ya wanna make sure your wastegate is controlling boost appropriately. Turbo cars are no new thing to me, it's all I have ever owned. 91 eagle tsi, 99 saab95 turbo, 07 Mazda speed6 (still own), 2018 focus st. I love just about all turbo cars...and this just is not acceptable in the tuner world, maybe if your a ricer which I suspect you may be if this is cool to you. There are two different worlds in car modifications, tuners and ricers. A tuner would never ever intentionally run this on their car. Unfortunately the only mod this car needs is a Driver Mod.
If you watched his other videos, you would conclude how much of an idiot this guy really is. Like come on... he put the car on a curb instead of using a jack with jack stands, shifts and automatic truck "like a manual" and wonders why the transmission broke amd swears its not from the way he drives it.
This has to be one of the worst ideas I’ve seen regardless of the sounds. Unless you don’t mind inhaling carbon monoxide fumes. Spend the $300 to delete the resonator and muffler if you want more sound inexpensively.
steven komsky I did that lol. And the exhaust fumes were not bad at all. It was just to hold me over until I could get back to my hometown and do the exhaust the correct way.
Back pressure is not good for any kind of engine. Back pressure means exhaust moving backward toward the engine. What you want is called scavenging. This is a slightly larger area in the exhaust that speeds up exhaust fumes. Driving a stock car straight off downpipe is by no means a good idea either.
CorvZ061 man get outta here with this crap.....there is no way in hell any f150 could beat an st.... You probably can't even drive a stick shift....I own a 2015 st3 and I wouldn't even waste the gas against an automatic f150 truck ...next he's gonna be saying he walked a GTR lmao
The Ecoboost F150 does a 6.0 second 0-60, and an ST does 6.2 ( www.zeroto60times.com/vehicle-make/ford-0-60-mph-times/ ) My ST does a 4.95 0-60 (Stratified tune with aux fuel, GT2867r, ~400hp). So he's not wrong per se.
Aight all y’all I know this is rice but why do you give a dam?? It ain’t your car so keep your mouth shut, and some of us don’t have money to get it tuned or get full exhaust systems
Muffler and resonator deletes can be done at muffler shops for under $200 vs buying a completely new system. I made full exhaust on my 96 Mustang when I was 20 out of fence pipe and two Thrush mufflers. Parts and paying someone to weld it all was $100. My ST has resonator delete and the sound deadening removed from the muffler with new tips welded to it. This set up cost me $80.
Idk why but I was grinding my teeth when I saw you get under it with the tire balanced on the curb😂😂lucky it didn't roll
cowanoncrackk lol I had it in gear and the parking brake on. 😂.
The sticker on the back window added 900hp

Thanks for the heads-up. A small part of me wanted to try it on FiST, but this comment has put that part of me to rest.
Is that a diesel or a petrol I bought a Ford Focus myself I just wanna know if I’m able to do u coz diesel cars don’t sound like that
Wait till I show the boys this! I just know they're gonna love this MOD

In reality this isn’t really something you wanna do, it’s not like getting a complete new exhaust system, it’s just a work around
next video-"bad transmission"
LOL, its not the truck. I granny shift it. Im not that hard on it.
I hear a KA band radar in ur car ...
smart man, imma get one too lol

Why not just do a muffler and resonator delete the right way and weld pipes in places of them?
Cuz some of us are broke from our cars being financial mistakes
Ford focus mk 3?
Now you just gotta find a way to install some V-tech shit for the ultimate ricer setup.
It has a ti vct system already tho🤔
Bruhhhh. If you're going too do it do it right come on.
Yeah i am getting exhaust very soon. This is just temporary lol.
Slim Reaper you crack me up
Where is the video where he dies from carbon monoxide poisoning?
Sandro Falconio I haven’t posted that one yet. In the making now
LOL I had my exhaust like that for couple weeks. My car is from 2005 and it was not on purpose. The drone was terrible I may have lost hearing

He's not sitting in a garage... Geesh
nice rice mod!
Your welcome.
That Aluminum crap is very very sharp😅
Exhaust leaked into cabin?
Same question
How bad did this lower you MPG's?
Not at all. At 72mph i get 29-30 mpg.
Slim Reaper Nice! How well do you think this would this work on my 4cylinder S10?
Jesus christ😂
there is no way this is good for the car....no engine light our anything?? i wanna do it to my Focus but it aint turbo
Is it legal tho?
Lookup ur state restrictions
"Feels a lot faster"....bruh....you lose back pressure with an exhaust spacer....you're most definitely slower!
It's got a turbo. Exhaust back pressure is never beneficial with a turbo, it will just hinder the charger from generating the best possible pressure.
@@A.R.C.77 lol yes

Right but on the back pressure thing that has been Dyno tested many times
@@A.R.C.77 all cars perform better with faster exhaust speeds. Back pressure is not faster. In fact it's essentially negative exhaust speed
🤦♂️
bruh I raced one of these yesterday with my truck ..they slow a'f
if it was a cummins ok i could see that
Uh ya it’s a track car not a dragster
Juan Guerrero you didn’t race mine. I would gap that truck.
