To make a special expression, you go into live 2d viewer ( it should download automatically with the live 2d package) and drag in your model, click file>add>expression... if you are still confused I’ll be happy to help 🤗
Besides this, you will need to make the parameters or animations for the expressions themselves in Live2D. Depending on the tracking software that you're going to use, you will either need to make the expression files (prprlive and vtube studio) or make a cfg file (facerig) Expressions tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/xPJAnzFAuhU/видео.html
And another whoa, some people like to play as their characters and not their real selves. Some people (like myself) want to explore or take up acting one day and being a Vtuber allows for us to do that. Like the previous reply, you mean well but the wording can really throw people off... Edit: Oops, idk how that replied to MilkyZuzu and not Lune Yin. God dammit YT.

Hi Kira, i dont can understand much the english, but the video is very well for learn a little more about the program, note: i speak spanish, sorry for my lvl in english ;(
I think you did a great job. As I've been referencing a lot of your earlier works it's definitely nice comparison to how you were originally and how much you've grown!
thank you for these tutorials!! they're very helpful for begginers like me ^^ your model looks really cool too!! i haven't been catching up to your streams lately, but i just want you to know that we love you and your amazing content alot!
I just searched "Live2d tutorial" and got interested in your videos, so I went to your channel's playlist and saw your old video tutorial which is from 2020. Comparing that to this one inspired me to start a career as a live2d rigger. This left an impression in my mind that "Hey, learning the good things and consistent practice will never betray you, and surely will improve you over time". I'll be coming back to this channel a lot surely since I'm still tryna learn how to live2d, and I think this will surely help me improve. I wanna say... thank you very much.
Thank you so much!! Streaming has definitely made me more comfortable to speak in front of a camera and not rigidly stick to a script T.T I'm very happy that a lot of people have been saying that I improved a lot~
Protip for my box modelling homies trying to mess around with making Vtuber models: just do manual meshing for fine parts like the lips and eyelashes, it's cleaner in 99% of cases and works exactly the same as you'd expect a textured 3D plane to deform. Also lets you put extra control verts in all the right places.
Wow this is how to rig:O I asked my "mama" to rig me and I didn't know about rigging at all. So it's good to learn how much my kind mama put a lot of effort for me! Thank you for making this video. It's very easy to understand.
I just wanted to know how it was done out of curiosity, I looked at some places to see how they do it this is the most smooth and understandable video I watched. Thank you .
the new model is beautiful !!! ah im gonna dive into rigging myself and your videos are so helpful ! i hope i dont lose my mind while i attempt to do it

In the time that I commented last time, I: 1) Tried to do a test Live2d model that looked meh 2) Gave up and did it in Adobe character animator 3) Settled with that model for months, hilariously inefficiently (6 hour encoding times for 10mins of audio) 4) Became frustrated with my mediocre model and failure 5) Vowed to try Live2d again 6) Designed the model and came back to your channel for guidance And you've created a new tutorial! This time I will succeed! Thank you for making these videos, Kira!

How can I create different facial expressions on a Vroid model? Can I create a frozen frame for each facial expression, instead of an animation? I need to work with still poses (not animation) because I need to be able to draw over the model once I pose it. My suggestion is that I would love to see videos on how to pose Vroid models for comics or for drawing purposes. I’d love to see a video dedicated to facial expressions, such as how to create a complete facial expression on a 3D anime character, and how to modify a facial expression as needed.
