      I have a question.. after the reflect part and changing the parameters, why did my jiggle disappear?? ( QAQ ) well not exaclty disappear. but like when i try to play the random scene in the physics to take a look right, the jiggle is only on one of the eyes. can anyone help me (QAQ ) or is this normal??

    • @chupuko
      @chupuko  Год назад +3

      @@dianasofiya6903 it's hard to say without seeing your file but just double check where your eye physics keyforms are and make sure that's in the outputs of the eye jiggle physics group, and double check your inputs? you might have not copied the jiggle over to the other eye?? it should be working normally though even when reflecting!

      @@chupuko okay thanks. I've fixed it. got something wrong with the keyframes. I forgot to change some keyframes to the other parameter. also, thank you so much. I learned a lot from you. I wish I could show you the result after I finish. keep up the great work! love yaa

      This video helped me so much as I'm working on my first model but I'm lost with the reflecting. The lashes and irises on my model are two different colours so I tried dragging them into the copied mesh like you said, but when I delete the old one, the copied colour stays and the colour I need disappears ;-; not sure what to do

    I have a pretty bad learning disability and the thought of making and rigging a model has been a daunting one for nearly a year now for me. Your videos, however, have made the whole process unbelievably easy - so _thank you_ so much for putting these together❤Something I feared would take me several months (if I was able to do it at all) to do was managed in only several hours and I'm just amazed, really. You've done a fantastic thing here and I'm so utterly grateful.

    Hot tip if you want your part IDs to stay readable: when naming your layers use underscores instead of spaces! It's much easier to keep track of clipping masks then since Live2D wont rename them to artmesh# :)

    Ohhh my god you're a LIFESAVER! I feel like I'm learning the program even better through this tutorial. I started my process of making a vtuber 6 days ago. The first 4.5 were spent just making my model (from scratch, with no prior knowledge or research, just winging it) and you've helped me rig my eyes in a day. I even figured out how to give him a different pupil when his eyes are in different states, which I'm SO proud of! Thank you so much, this was super easy to understand and follow! ❤

    If you guys have an iris shadow that shows outside of your sclera even after applying your clipping, this comment is for you!
    To have the smoothest experience, make sure to do this AFTER you've done all your eye rigging, including your lashes and such. In my experience, it can make tweaking certain aspects later a little tricky! This should be your last step before copying and reflecting your eye
    1) Unclip everything involving the eyeball (sclera, iris, highlights, etc)
    2) Move your sclera and sclera shadow layer ABOVE your iris', but still below your lashes. Move any shine you want to be visible on your sclera as well as your iris here as well!
    3) Clip sclera shadow (and any eyeball shines) TO sclera
    4) Clip sclera TO your iris base (if you have multiple iris', clip the sclera to the bases of those as well. "ArtMesh37, ArtMesh 245" etc)
    It will look crazy rn because your iris will look like an iris shaped version of your sclera! Trust the process!
    5) Now clip all of your iris layers TO your sclera (this includes the iris itself, highlights, shadows, the pupil, everything that you want to have stay within your sclera)
    6) Go back to your sclera layer
    7) check the "Invert Mask" box and tadaa! Your double clipping conflicts should be no more!

    I have a particularly thin eyelid, so the white was terrible to hide behind it. Initially I tried fixing it by having a skin-coloured bit above the lid, but that didn't work with my head shadow (the shadow couldn't go on top of it without also going on top of the white). Finally figured it out, instead of having a very low poly mesh like in this tutorial, I went absolutely crazy and made a bazillion vertices. It goes really smoothly now. Tiniest bit of white that deforms oddly still somewhere mid-blink, but nobody will notice that.
