    Chupuko is the finest Live2D Tutorial Teacher for me since she not only explains well, but the approach she uses in that software is simple to grasp. I've seen numerous Live2D video lessons and even worked as a rigger for two years, but nothing compares to how she explains those tricks so clearly. if I can, I'll lift and spin hugging her model just to express my gratitude for this 6 tutorial videos she made. I'm looking forward to your next tutorial.

    These are such great tutorials!
    My model is almost done, thanks to you!
    I guess, like someone else in the comments said, I would just use a rotation deformer for body z? I guess I still include my head in that one, even though it already has its own Z? But to be fair, your model doesn't look like it would need a body Z.
    But isn't there also this kind of leaning forwards and backwards effect??
    What I am also wondering now, since it is almost done, is how to export it and import it into vtube studio. I am at that stage where I would like to test the tracking and I am not sure if there is anything to keep in mind when I import it.

    So I’m curious and I haven’t seen it really explained in any of your tutorials, but I’ve noticed that rigging in the tutorials happen on physics parameters. Any reason to not rig straight onto the base parameters? I’m sorry if this was explained in another video, but I didn’t catch it so I wanted clarification on that. I’m watching these videos to get some more insight on how to make high quality rigs and easier methods to do things and to help get out of snags I’ve run into while rigging. Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials, they help a lot.

    • @chupuko
      @chupuko  Год назад +1

      i talked about it slightly in my angle xyz video when i made the physics parameters i think, but basically putting them to physics parameters makes the model more bouncy and "lively" rather than straight to the defaults, which would make the movement more static. it's up to personal preference but from what i see right now most people like bouncier rigs more and it's usually sought after! let me know if you need more clarification though

    • @djedsystem
      @djedsystem Год назад

      Thank you so much this explains it perfectly! I appreciate it a lot. I'm glad I just missed it. I can definitely see what you mean by bouncy.

  • @Mara_1337
    @Mara_1337 Год назад

    Actually, I am still a bit confused about the Body X vs Body X Physics.
    I guess I rigged my body turns onto the default Body X parameter and it automatically moved in the physics settings when I turned Angle X. (even though I actually didn't put the Body X parameter into the output)
    Are you making the extra Body X Physics parameter, so you can change the body bounce settings independently of the Angle X that influences the head turns?
    Is the default Body X just left blank then?

  • @kyuubisgirl3232
    @kyuubisgirl3232 2 месяца назад

    Hi, I'm not sure if you still read comments on these, but when you got to the physics you set up and the input is "Body X" or "Body Y", you didn't actually rig anything to that parameter, right? Just the outputs of "Body X Phys" and "Body Y Phys"? I started doing Y movement on the default Body Y before starting your video and I'm trying to figure out if I should delete the keyframes and start over...
