For that price I can build a complete dual 12" sub system that will sound 100 time better than that plus have money leftover to buy a Bluetooth speaker too!!.
You should rly make a "good" soundcheck with a legit mic for 3d binaural sound And then compare this to other speaker in that price class Like to a boombox 2 or so to see if the bass is rly that good (No offense, just an idea)
I have a 65 mustang convertible and I'd love to add just a bit of bottom end without being obnoxious or have my car rattling apart. This sub might do well in a SUV, but I'd have to mount this in the trunk and being that its a convertible, would this little 41/2 inch sub even be audible? I love the idea and the portability, but it sure would be nice if I could hear what it sound like before I the money, as I could buy a really nice powered 10" sub for that price. Any honest feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

It's all separate, you can't sync them together. He's not using the car radio. Simultaneous Bluetooth apps don't work, assuming your car has bluetooth. Aux in and aux out (old school cables with the rings) don't work. I've tried using bluetooth through my phone then using the aux out on a JBL 110, to the aux on my car. (I've also used the aux out on my phone to aux in on speaker to aux out from speaker to aux in on car also, no dice) You think that would work. No it doesn't. This crap subaru doesn't even respond. The power he has is directly connected with power coming from an aux power through the accessory system. So when he turns the power of his vehicle off the portable speaker doesn't drain the batter. These manufactures have it fixed so that you cannot just cheaply upgrade you 'entire' audio system by just buying a few portable radios, that you can just slap in the car and use them in sink with your radio or phone. None of these 'portable speaker to car' videos reveal those details. It's just smart phone to single speaker, and maybe a aux power connected with accessories, or an inverter.
Agreed. I’ve kept up to date on the JBL BPG speaker. JBL announced this speaker back in 2017 and the design was way better with the existing Fabric modern JBL portable speakers have on them, and it had hooks trike the JBL Xtreme line-up, now JBL changed it to this hard plastic, removed the hooks & went with a hard grill like on the PartyBox series. Overall this speaker is 4 years old from its previous initial release date. It looks cheap, sounds great. But has the old as JBL connect function which is old compared to the new Partyboost feature. Also for the price you have better time getting a actual Sub & amp for your car for less. Take it from a guy that has multiple JBL portable speakers

It's super neat but honestly too expensive. Sure the double functionality is cool but it's not worth 550€ to me. Question, my JBL is connected and docked in my vehicle when I start my vehicle… it stay in full range mode and doesn’t switch to Subwoofer mode. How do I change that?
I want to test all of your line of speaker I am a professional Music Maker and I need accurate speakers, and headphones, but also bass . I want to go down to 20-32 hz just to mix for speaker systems that can actually go that low and have a crossover, so I can mix and master stuff. I'm not made out of money but I will love to find out a whole range of things in order to get what I really am looking for to make music. What should I get? and is there any program I could find that allows me to do this?
Hey bro , do yourself a favour and look for actual subwoofers that can play that low and still produce music accurately, and you can use car audio speakers and subs and they will work the exact same way in a home set up. If you want accuracy then go for a sealed sub box aswell. It will have less bass than a ported box and won’t be as loud as a ported enclosure
in the trunk the unit can be fullrange or subwoofer only. outside of the trunk (when you disconnect the RCA and connect with bluetooth only.) it is a portable bluetooth speaker with great sound.
Hmm idk for what it costs I got 2 10s with a under seat box and my amp all for about $650 including wiring and rcas (excludes the aftermarket headunit I had already) And its a lot more bass than one of these
Shame jnl trying everything they can to become a crowd favorite again. I mean personally I prefer anything other than jbl like the LG xboom series so much more punshyer bass and clear mids
