I've just found your channel and have been waiting to see you use what I thought was a bigsby tremolo bar what a cool gizmo! Thanks for the lessons! Your enthusiasm is contagious.
Abbie, this is great, you sound great. I have a DoubleShot too, but you have way more fun! I’m working up a new Christmas video w my DoubleShot guitar, I guess that was fun. Standby…..😜
Every time I watch this, I want to cry. I do not think this would fit on my Gretsch bobtail, it cost as much as my Gretsch AND I would have to pay someone to install it if it did fit. I play two identicle Gretsch 9230 bobtails. One tuned to D the other to G. It makes is easier to play along in any key at jam sessions but lacks the ability to change-on-the-fly.
Hey Minton! Like Greg said, I think it'd fit just fine. Just know that it increases the weight, so if you stand up to play and have any neck/shoulder issues that's something to consider.
@@AbbieGardnerdobrosinger Certainly something to think about. When playing in the key of D (my favorite key), sometimes I play in D tuning and sometimes I play in D tuning. I am working on tracks now for one of my songs that I will use both tunings in different parts of the song. That way I can get all the low growl notes I love around the first couple of frets combined with more nuanced lows and sparking highs when playing on frets 5, 6, and 12 (I IV V chords) Yes it's true; I have too much time on my hands.
Abbie check out Dan Walsh beardzone and laptop randy and David Lindsey and Jackson Browne mercury blues Dave's playing a jumbo acoustic with a high nut and raised saddle sounds mind-blowing awesome keep kicking booty baby love ya the love doctor has spoken ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Where can I find that D tuner device for sale?
Hey Larry! Beard Guitars may sell them and you might be able to order one directly from Hipshot
@@AbbieGardnerdobrosinger Thank you
How about D tuning being "D" only tuning you know?
Haha nice

I have a DoubleShot on my dobro, they will fit pretty much anything including a lap steel.
