I immediately made a cake and aged mine up to toddlers. I just can't with the infants for this challenge. I even moved my first kid into someone else's house lol

Infant tips, if you replace the cribs with play mats then they can sleep on them as well as play, also introduce them to Guidry and then they can interact with him to feed/bath them while your sim is sleeping.
aaand i am immediately stealing this idea rofl guidry is so annoying anyway; he keeps chatting up my sims when im trying to get them to do stuff. i usually send him jogging or make him practice his singing XD this will make him actually useful
Please buy the paranormal stuff medium table as soon as possible. You need to befriend Bonehilda anyway, and she takes care of babies, which you will need when Eleanor leaves.

I'd put the dirty diapers and bottles in your inventory to put into the dumpsters so you can keep diving for deals. Also I'm pretty sure you can put the dyes back into the dumpsters to dive again. You could also bring a lover to the dumpsters to woohoo for trash as well.
James you need to store the power and water in the bills panel otherwise you won’t gain any power it’ll just sell it straight away. Really enjoying this series so far lots of fun to watch

If you dont want to spend too much time grinding for spellcaster xp, you can learn transportalate and set it to default - then as you move around you'll gain xp and you can passively rank up in the background while you focus on the other parts of the challenge! (Haven't watched this ep yet & not sure if you spend any time on the spellcaster goals so maybe ignore me haha)

It's not cheap, but Chess is by far the best way to build friendships after all the crappy updates, you can just leave sims playing for hours and they'll passively build it, they won't get up to do other things after 5 seconds.
Grow some of that fruit you found, they are OP as heck!! Strawberries sell for a high price, and you can triple the price on the selling table. I also recommend befriending the fox to keep them from stealing your eggs--if you get any that is. Hey, there's a side hustle, try being a mini farm and selling your goods on the selling table... too bad you didn't spend that money. Scrubaroo can help clean the babies, and I also would have skipped that stage.
I remember when I played with haunted houses for the first time my sim was married to Morgyn Ember. I had them zippyzap Temperance and it turned into the most bland night we ever had, she was just dazed the whole time😂

I have to go onto the infant and cancel whatever they're doing before the adult sim will take care of them. So stupid but at least it's sort of a work around.

Well, from what I've seen when looking on the internet at least, to get the nightwraith curse, you need to have overcharge failures, so basically do too much magic, explode, rest and don't do too much magic again until the moodlet is gone, and repeat until the correct curse is applied

I have actually used the emotional mediator traits and various friendly boosts to calm down and befriend Temperance. It's not bad, but she forgets (if I remember correctly) so you have to re-do it every time she shows up.
glad to know you can get twins when having science babies! im preparing for that right now in my game; i want to get it first try so im grabbing all the fertility boosts and buffs i would suggest you go back to the magic realm and get scuberoo and delicioso so you can use magic to clean up messes (and your sims) and feed yourself when you cant afford food. fun fact: scruberoo helps with the slime puddles the haunted house sometimes produces. it does not affect the glowing symbols, unfortunately.
Please! PLEASE, James for the love of rainbows gather water whenever you go fishing. You'll be able to take a full bath or even gain a surplus to sell if you start gathering it everyday. "You're killing me, smalls!"
I am doing a version of this challenge and I cannot recommend enough learning all of the Untamed magic you can. Important spells include: Decursify for when you get the curse and have to get rid of it, Necrocall to get the Sim you are trying to bring back in front of you and Dedeathify, to bring said Sim back without having to make ambrosia. Alternatively for the curse, befriend all of the sages and keeps asking for potion recipes until you get a potion of curse removal.

This is an amazing series! I am sorry that Rent is bugged to be unplayable... but this is genius and it's nice to hear you having FUN instead of frustration with the game.

Tip: anytime I'm doing rags to riches the first thing I save up for is the $1,200 trashcan that gives you money when you throw anything away. You can get rid of bottles, diapers, plates, trash, anything! And when your cooking skill is higher the plates you throw away can get up to $40 per 1 dirty plate!
Snuggly sleeper is the *worst* infant quirk! The best tip i have is to install a baby mobile to help them get to sleep but you may still need to soothe or tell them a story sometimes
I think you technically completed the side hustle challenge by dumpster diving, repairing, and selling those objects. But a grilled cheese stand sounds fun! Haha
Didn't you forget to roll for making a science baby. By getting the twins you also got that challenge, but rolled only once. And, unpopular opinion, but there's nothing on the challenges that says that you can't let the kids get taken away.... I see opportunities :D
I'd love to see some more "____ with the first sim you see" added to the wheel. I'm trying the challenge and one of the things I added was "Make Enemies with the first sim you see" which was interesting. Also have remove x object challenges which are interesting.
I am playing the same challenge along. And I'm so close to finishing, only two points left (Sixam and the curse). Rocket Science is at 10 and I will start the wormhole update soon, but my spellcaster just won't get cursed. :/ By the way, when you have an enemy they will probably not come to your lot. I had to drown mine at the gym.

I've been trying the challenge this way. (James always make things more fun) I've also been trying to add challenges to the list. One of this things I put on my list (not a hard one, but seems fun) get hit by Agnas Crumplebottom.
It's super annoying, Guidry's and Temperance's orientations reset randomly every save file, same as any other townie. You can return to an earlier save before you hit on them and try again and hope for a different result. (Yes, I pretty much play the Paranormal Stuff Pack as a dating simulation game, how'd you guess?)
Anyone else who likes their ghostly baby dadies/mamas brought to their door - if you want a child with either, you need cheats. 1. Testingcheats on. 2. Shift+click Guidry, and add to family. 3. While playing as Guidry, pull up the cheats bar and type in "traits.remove_trait guidry". Sadly, he will be a ghost no more. 4. Get to the baby making. 5. To make him a ghost again, play as him, pull up the cheats bar and type in "traits.equip_trait guidry". Remove him from the family using shift click. If you don't do this, and remain in a haunted house, an identical ghost of him will be showing up in your house, which could break your romantic experience, or make it way better, depends how you roll. 6. If you prefer angry ghosts to flirty ones, do all of the above with Temperance instead, just replace "Temperance" for "Guidry" in all of the above cheats.
I think Temperance not being interested is part of the aro-ace glitch (ironic that I as an ace person am calling it a glitch 😂) where Sims seem to either be interested in everyone or no one with no in between
You can sell burnt items directly from your household inventory so long as you haven’t moved them yet. You’ll get full price, and don’t need to replace or repair them. You’ve been tossing so many Simoleons. 😅
He purposely does that as they shouldn't be worth any money. It becomes too easy to sell a burnt item for thousands of Simoleons when its actually supposed to be worthless.

Remember to NOT level up in magic, you need failures to get cursed! Loosing duels is the fastest way

I've been trying the challenge this way. (James always make things more fun) I've also been trying to add challenges to the list. One of this things I put on my list (not a hard one, but seems fun) get hit by Agnas Crumplebottom.
I always find watching these challenges fun to see but I never do them my self.

It's super annoying, Guidry's and Temperance's orientations reset randomly every save file, same as any other townie. You can return to an earlier save before you hit on them and try again and hope for a different result. (Yes, I pretty much play the Paranormal Stuff Pack as a dating simulation game, how'd you guess?)
Anyone else who likes their ghostly baby dadies/mamas brought to their door - if you want a child with either, you need cheats.
1. Testingcheats on.
2. Shift+click Guidry, and add to family.
3. While playing as Guidry, pull up the cheats bar and type in "traits.remove_trait guidry". Sadly, he will be a ghost no more.
4. Get to the baby making.
5. To make him a ghost again, play as him, pull up the cheats bar and type in "traits.equip_trait guidry". Remove him from the family using shift click. If you don't do this, and remain in a haunted house, an identical ghost of him will be showing up in your house, which could break your romantic experience, or make it way better, depends how you roll.
6. If you prefer angry ghosts to flirty ones, do all of the above with Temperance instead, just replace "Temperance" for "Guidry" in all of the above cheats.
The slightly evil part of myself would very much like to see James doing a 100 Baby Challenge. 😈😈

I think Temperance not being interested is part of the aro-ace glitch (ironic that I as an ace person am calling it a glitch 😂) where Sims seem to either be interested in everyone or no one with no in between

You can sell burnt items directly from your household inventory so long as you haven’t moved them yet. You’ll get full price, and don’t need to replace or repair them. You’ve been tossing so many Simoleons. 😅
He purposely does that as they shouldn't be worth any money. It becomes too easy to sell a burnt item for thousands of Simoleons when its actually supposed to be worthless.
