@boo._713 Im not sure if this will help but: tap on the brush, then there should be a setting on the side for shape, in the upper right corner there should be a button to edit the shape source, then shape editor should pop up. Select import in the upper right then source library. You'll be taken to a gallery of shapes and can even search the shape Mess. Tap that and you should be good to go. Of course, put the scatter at 30%, and I personally put the stabilization at 53%.

I set up a grid and turn on drawing assist when making panels. No need to hold and finger tap for straight lines. Balloon thing is pretty accurate. I have a special brush for drawing tails tails though. As for a font I made my own. But yea procreate is pretty good for making comics. I mean you can use any drawing program to make a comic page. Even paint. So.
I don't use procreate but I wanna get into making comics And my fav comics are The Walking Dead, Invincible, and Scott Pilgrim (I'm pretty sure Scott Pilgrim is more of a manga then comic it's the same thing basically)
This works similar in ANY drawing app! you don't need neither iphone nor procreate for this. a $100 used Samsung S3 tablet with an S-Pen or $50 ActiveTab with an S-Pen (or a $200 used Samsung Note8 (or Note 9 / Note10 / s22 / s23 / s24 with free Hi-Paint, MadiBang, Ibis Paint X or $10 Clip Studio work the same.
So helpful, planning on buying the new ipad air 6 with new pencil pro and looking into these vids are so helpful and on my own timing planning on making my own comics/manga to hope one day get it published and approve Man I'm so excited
i actually make comics, i have good plots, actuall lore, and inter connected comics! im 10 and i have made like ... 11-12 comics 8 of those i made in one day...
Making panels in procreate is so much more comfortable and closer to the real comic making experience compared to that confusing disaster of a panel tool that exists in clip studio
Always watch videos on things you think you know… I have been using procreate for over 5 years and I had no idea about holding another finger to make the lines snap to a grid.

If you have a sketchier style, id recommend using more hand drawn than artificial assets so they fit the setting better

My favorite comic is Objectified! Its like a comic object show.
You actually need speech bubble borders to be much closer to words, so you could use more space for art, ellipses leave too much room for unused space
Favorite comic? Angry Birds Transformers comic. Favorite graphic novel? The Sylver Eyes
