Next time you're in Gary or Northwest Indiana for that matter, you should try Miller Pizza or Flamingo Pizza. The best in Gary and surrounding areas.
Bronko's was a popular pizza place or Key pizza in Hammond too.

I live 10 minutes away from Gary it isn't even close as bad as it used to be back in the 90s pretty much a ghost town
This place is right across from the TA in Gary, I used to go here on occasion when I'd stop for fuel. When I 1st tried it I honestly wasn't sure if this pizza was great or awful. It is very strange for sure, I have no idea how they create those flavors. It's almost an acquired taste. But If I happened through there again, I'd stop for a couple slices. It's hard to explain why.
The pizza was a 3.2, and Gary, Indiana itself is also a 3.2

Reminds me when I was in Prescott Valley, AZ. I just finished driving 2.5 hours to my hotel...was really in the mood for pizza, and I asked the girl at the front desk where they recommended. She said oh you gotta go to Guido's. That place is great!
So I went to Guido's...worst pizza I've had in my life. I can make better homemade pizza. But thats how it is...you can't beat pizza in the northeast. when you go out west, it gets bad.
James Valenti I moved out to Oregon from New York a few years back...I love everything about it...it’s far nicer than New York...however it’s hard to find good pizza out here. There’s a few good places but nothing like the New York style pizza from home. That’s probably the only thing I miss haha.

James Valenti where I live, near Portland, there’s a New York style pizza place and it’s pretty good. They’re New York transplants and it’s the best thing I’ve had since I left. I don’t miss New York much at all man. Oregon is beautiful, there’s less people, clean air. Truly love it. I definitely don’t miss those New York winters either haha...brutal
