Swedish airplanes are.... quite Swedish I'd say. They have excellent firepower, moderate maneuverability, relatively fast, but their bombers are beyond rubbish. Deeper into the tree you don't even get bombs anymore, only rockets. Oh, and more importantly, they have 3 premium Finnish planes. Not sure how to feel about having to fly Swedish planes together with my Finnish ones, but I'll take what I can get.
@@Caldera01 I still find it odd why add Sweden into the game like this. They didn't fight in any of the two wars. Yea they have a lot of unique vehicles but why not add a minor axis and a minor allied tree before a Swedish tree?
@@alinalexandru2466 Swedish tree IS a minor axis ally tree. IMO they should just rename the tree as a Nordic tree. I believe they added Sweden not because of any major wars, but more because of their modern output of planes. Afterall, the Swedes are flying up there with the other big names, Eurofighters and F-32's. Meanwhile Finland adds the interest of war participation, so it really should be a Nordic tree rather than a Swedish specific tree. Just happens that Sweden is the only Nordic nation manufacturing and designing their own planes.

I loved that bit with the Australian and French planes. As an Australian I have had a ping spike to 999 with 45% packet loss in wt and it made me crash into the ground just like that
Ah, yes. Air forces. Where everyone complains that the Yak is overpowered, so I try it, and every single time, it is like I am firing sparkle-rounds from the cannon. As in, sparkles is all it produces on impact.

I remember when I first got Warthunder I knew nothing about playing, got in a match and after some games got frustrated being killed. I was using a do 217 and trying to turn fight Japanese planes lmao It got to about rank 5 before I was reflexively memorising turn time and other characteristics of every single plane and could win regularly.
Been a couple years since playing War Thunder and I must say too much of this is too true: the wait times, the vultures attacking low bombers, stealing kills, getting assists because of kill stealers, having "a whole in your left wing", the matchmaking, and especially the grind (dear god why must I remember), all of it culminates to the realization that the most fun you had in the game were the earlier tiers where epic dogfights transpired, wait times were a couple minutes at worst, and maps were smaller leading to quicker action and less UFO climbers....good times, good times

I must say, the delivery on that “oh shit!” was Oscar worthy, it really immersed me. Felt like I was gallivanting about in China in a Hurricane myself.
The first one is why I gave up on air. Space climbing in a spitfire leaves you alone in the upper atmosphere with zeros. Another depressingly accurate War Thunder experience.
Only difference from reality I found was where you seemed to be getting ok at BR1.0 planes and actually shooting some enemies down occasionally and being bumped from the beginner matches once you hit BR1.3 and being absolutely annihilated by people with 10,000 hours in game.
The bombers are either at tree top level, or you need a Saturn V Rocket to reach them because they decided they want to go past jupiter on their way to the target

What belt are you using? I find that the air belts on the cannons just spark while the AP belts rip planes in half in one hit
