Would have been cool to have other Aspects in place of specialists like other teams. A single Dark Reaper as a heavy, a Swooping Hawk or Warp Spider as a scout, etc I'm having my team as all old 2E original models.
Nice! I'm actually painting up a retro RT/2E set as well with one squad of everything, and this will probably get me to shuffle around what I'm painting. Are you going to convert your Exarchs or just do the one option from that era and have it be a bit of a counts as for the other weapon options? I understand why, kit wise, we didn't get a team with 7 unique aspects as specialists and 1 of an Exarch of your choice, or perhaps a Warlock. But that would have been really cool. The Eldar range definitely has so much need for replacing old models that I might have been a bit bummed if they did a pseudo Court of the Young King instead of say plastic Warp Spiders. Fire Dragons or Swooping Hawks would also be nice and even the plastic Avenger kit could use a refresh since it's a troop. Like, I'm literally doing Rogue Trader era sculpts and using the current Warp Spider and Vyper models.
The Chainsabres (twin chainswords) is actually the first time we're going to be able to model it without having to do kitbashing in a very... very... long time lol. Like the current Finecast scorpions were the old metal sculpt and they came out in the early 2000s. They've always been able to do chainsabres but its never been a real thing in the kit.

The Rules indicate only one aspect technique per activation; but does that include activations that are not yours? 🤔
Do you have any tips for playing Mono-scorpions? I didnt think I would get them until i played against them, and their aspects, the stealth, the brutality fascinates me, but only their aspects. People keep telling me, I would be putting myself at a disadvantage playing mono and discourage me doing so. So tips please?
@@cryer3160 I have no tips for as I haven't played them since doing this content for them. But I can say that I've heard that mono scorpions, at the moment, is probably the best way to play them. As far as I'm aware there aren't any guides out there that aren't this same sort of release day content. They're a "newer" team and also a low power team so the big players aren't getting big reps in with them.
