These poor Aspect Warriors keep dropping like flies everywhere I look, and this is exactly what I expected when I saw their rules. Any idea what successful Blades of Khaine players do to get their tournament wins, because, as shown in their tournament stats, this team is not doing so bad ?

We have a local player who is top 10/5 in the UK who uses them a bunch - might see if he can do a game and embarrass me by destroying me with his BOK 👍

I'm not really in the competitive sceene too much but been playing them and they are fun and have some play. I think the smoke bombs are crucial to get them into position to do what they need to do without getting shot espicially when theres not much cover to use like we saw here. CP is probably better spent denying opponents rerolls than actually rerolling yourself. Dire avengers have overperformed for me so on open board probably want 3 or more to help get your melee operatives some cover fire.

You can get 12 shots per turn out of an all Dire Avenger team. Not bad on 3+ with rending. Unless you roll like this poor chap, of course.

Blades of Khaine are just a weak team. They need something in the next update. 8 wounds 4 save drop like flies to 2 shots. They need an extra wound at least across the board. Avengers need balanced/rending.

They need some TAC PLOY/equipment to do a GA 2, or maybe something like a Domino Field for superconceal.

martial harmony should have been scored on tp2, you only need 2/3 of the conditions to be met, also indirect doesn't allow you to shoot over b-d's obscuring water

How was the dire avenger able to “see” the chaos warrior at 22:00? I thought if sight lines pass through a different elevation gantry at any point (including between the uprights) it was considered obscured? Or is that only when interacting with ground level and not between two different height gantries?

It only applies if one of them is on the floor, but it still seems weird

@@GFNGaming Yeah, it's clutching at straws really, I have only played BOK once against Intercession Squad on open, and conceded the game end of turn 2, it was traumatic.
I feel like they could be flat-track bullies against 7 wound teams. They desperately need more dakka

Think it was just because I was using the stats from Wahapedia I know people agree it should be 5, including GDubs tournament runners but RAW it is still 4, they need to do an errata really

The Heavy Bolter in Justian isn't just a tournament decision, the 5A profile is literally printed in the packs on the Japanese language version of the cards. The EN version is simply a misprint.
