Hugely helpful! The checkmarks and 'medals' summed up the data visually very nicely. Great way to present so much factual data. Thanks!
Thank you so much 👍that’s why I eat all of them everything God created for us is good for something so all I do is eating everything in moderation and seasonal as much as I can
How do you know there's a "God" and how do you know it makes anything?
@@granddaddyofthemall6320 ahev you take ur medicine today? You seem to not use ur brain at all since ur not able to see what that everything has its creator event that internet ur using lol
Thank you I always had that question in the back of my head for over 35 years and now you have explained it so precisely!!! Thank you again ❤
Thank you for this video!! I went vegetarian about 5 months ago and am still getting used to the diet. I started using kale, spinach leaf and baby chard. But have recently been eating romaine. I go with my intuition when picking foods. Now I know why 😁😁😁. This helps me to know I'm doing a good job by picking the best lettuce. You are such a positive person, it's amazing❤️
I absolutely love this video!! Thank you!! A healthy salad probably has a mix of all three types of greens. The romaine and red for the nutrition and a little of the green for taste!
Very helpful comparison, thank you so much!!! Didn’t expect it to be that detailed, really appreciate it 👍
I grow 11 different types of lettuces on my small farm. This was very helpful and very well done. Straight to the point without a lot of small talk like so many other videos. Thank you for saving my time.
And no background music 😊👏
May I ask how you keep all of the little pesky insects from eating your lettuce? Thank you in advance.
You are such an inspiration! Awesome video. Thank you for all these healthy habits.
Thanks for a detailed, informative video
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
This is an outstanding and very helpful video!
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this video, nicely delivered and informative!🤗🤗
Indeed, I enjoyed your video - homerun again (referring to the cabbage comparison) Thank you very much!
Another fan of this video! I grow all our lettuce, so this was very helpful. I’ll be growing more romaine. Thanks so much!
Great videos and keep it them coming. Thanks
I love this. I even took a picture of them.. Thank you!
Awesome info thanks!
Thank you for sharing this. 😊
Thank you for this video. It helped me tremendously understand why my body had a negative reaction to a salad of red leaf lettuce only yesterday. Now I think I know now watching this that I need to mix just a bit of it in with other lettuces because of my allergies and not eat so much of it alone in my salad next time. I have also shared it widely to educate others. Thanks again.
You are amazing sharing all this in depth information. Thank you so much. ❤
… a very in-depth nutritional profile; visual presentation (with the graphics) made the information easy to understand, and the pace of the video allowed for taking in the information steadily but not ‘too slow’. I also appreciate the breakdown of the nutritional profile into the four main headings. Also … I think the tone-of-voice/speaking is both inviting and pleasant … aspects that are important but often don’t receive enough consideration and attention by some other presenters.
I liked and subscribed; looking forward to viewing additional videos, and best of luck to you in this endeavor. 🙂
I LOVE this content! Good data makes for good decisions. Thanks!
Great video, thanks I grow Romaine and Cherokee every year as my main lettuce along with a mix of 4 other lettuce varieties with similar profiles.
Excellent in-depth research!!! Thank you!!! Blessings..... :)
Excellente, thanks. I also think it is very helpful to have this kind of information. It is not about eating only the best salade or cabbage, but it helps making choices.
Awesome video. Great comparison
Ty for what you do!
Good presentation video. I ♥️this !
Oh I just love your visuals! ❤ I have always wondered about the lettuces.
I really appreciate 🙏 you sharing this wonderful information on lettuce ❤️ 👏 ♥️
Ok I am loving these videos
Thank you so very much. This was information I really needed!
Very helpful video! Thank you so much!
Love this info ❤
Thank you so much this really helpful
❤ Very useful information.
Wonderful information
Thank you so much!!
Outstanding!
OMG this is a great information. I like to know detail nutrition information about my food. You provide everything about lettuce. Thank you
Cool video very informative 😃 The music was weirdly distorted though 🤪 Keep up the smart content it is fun and educational 🤓
thank you for sharing ~♡
I love these in depth videos and I haven’t seen anyone else do this before so I’m glad I found this page. *new subscriber*
Thank you! .... and more in-depth nutritional profile videos will be coming 😃 (Requests are welcome)
thanks for the info
Thank you for a great video, now I know which ones to grow.
Thank you sooo much!
Great content and super informative 😂❤😅
Appreciate it very much!
Very informative. I didn't know lettuces were so different
Just amazing video
Great info, thanks. It would be interesting to compare to other greens such as spinach and arugula.
Thank you for your excellent video. I have dedicated myself to eating a fresh grown salad every day. As such I grow them in my basement green house year round. While many questions have been answered, since my grow space is limited, I wish grow time and harvest regrow time could have been a factored. Nevertheless your video is priceless in my knowledge tree….. 😊
Didn’t know they had so many lettuce.. learn something new everyday…
Loved this! I would NOT have guessed romaine outperforming leaf lettuce on so many nutrients. So cool to know, esp. since I actually prefer romaine, although it's probably a good idea to blend it with red leaf, healthwise.
Right! I agree, a blend would be perfect...
I agree. I thought romaine would come in last place.
I juices them make as a breakfast drink instead of before drinking black coffee
@@nancynahnigoh3550Do you feel it gives you just as much energy as coffee?
Thanks!
I usually blend salad with romaine, red lettuce & a baby kale/spinach blend. Seeing the nutrition tables makes me feel like that’s a balanced blend. Who knew? Thx!
Thank you!!!! Subscribed and hit the bell!!!! 🫑
I have just found your videos, and am most impressed with the content, conciseness, and presentation. You speak clearly enough, even for me, but the background 'music' is very off-putting. Those of us who are genuinely interested in learning what you have to teach, would prefer just your voice. Thank you for all your work.
Thank you for the detail explanation, can you talk about oxalic acid on vegetable and how to reduce the content.
Thank you for this information! Romaine has always ben my favorite but now I will be adding red leaf lettuce to it to guarantee my best nutritional value!
That's what I started doing as well for the same reason!
This is so cool
I like your channel 👍
Thank you very much for the Thorough description .Can you please make a video about arugula
Noted. Thanks for the request
i like the channel, very helpful however id appreciate you doing something on " Kale vs Arugula."
Amazing
Yes yes I liked it!
Once again, looks like variety is best! Mix some green and red into your romaine salad!
*Reasons to eat the following lettuces:*
Romaine = It is the densest in vitamins and omegas across the board
Red Leaf = Red Leaf is the densest in minerals and amino acids across the board; and from personal experience, it's the best tasting one
Green Leaf = It has the highest Vitamin K value of the three
//; You are truly a blessing, thank you ..
I'm so proud of the red leaf I'm currently eating.
That's awesome!
My wife and I retired to Roatan, Honduras. There is a company on the island that grows hydroponically all three and it is sold in the supermarket as a mix! We eat salads 3 to 4 times a week at lunch and also include tomatoes, avocados and cucumbers. Definitely, going too view your fermentation videos. It is in the 80"s most days so will do small batches and into the fridge.
Amazing!
Very informative and helpful-thank you for making this video.
Watercress has the highest in nutrient density of all types of lettuce, it is amazing 🌿
Interesting.
감사 합니다.
I'm glad I love romaine lettuce. Will start to love red leaf too. But how about baby romaine? Which one more good romaine or baby romaine?
Great video thank you. I can see that the Romaine lettuce has less calcium in it than the other two, but most of the time I can't get the other two. The Romaine lettuce that I see for sale in Supermarkets in the UK is not very green so does this mean it has not got much calcium in it?
my favourite is green lettuce. ahh too bad. will buy more roman and red after this
I use Romain leaves as the buns for my keto hamburgers and other sandwiches.
Delicious except generally once you pick it up, you can’t put it down or it may fall apart.
Micro level summery ♥️
What about an analysis of grain. For example wheat, millet and teff. Or parsley and chive. Would that be possible? Thank you. B the way, I love your channel and agree with one of the comments, it' s a highly underrated channel.
Millet messes with the thyroid.
Overall which lettuce is best?
I therefore conclude that we should consume all kinds.
What about Butter Lettuce vs Romaine Lettuce or Red Leaf
A bit disappointed with red leave tbh especially as red leave lettuce is easier to grow in my kitchen garden as pests don’t like red coloured veg as much as green ones.
One question I've always had about lettuce (British organic anyway), what is the stuff which comes off when you wash it? It's sort of frothy. I've wrote to various growers, but they never get back!
I have not had that experience so I'm not able to provide an answer for you!
All are the best if you cook or make salad , is up to the person of their tastes
is romane lettuce bad for person w goiter
I’ll just mix and eat all three!
I didn’t see iceberg lettuce on that 🥬 that list🤔😀 just kidding…..I eat romaine but I’m going to start to eat the red 🍂 leaf and green as well 💯
Which lettuce is easiest to digest? I follow a lower fiber diet for my colon.
Just Mix your Romaine with your red leaf and get the best stuff out of your salad.
Red Leaf is the best. You can get your vitamins anywhere and who buys lettuce for the fat?
My fav is still green leaf lettuce 😂
Are you a nutritionist?
I choose red leaf lettuce. Red color on lettuce is the proof that red leaf lettuce is a winner.
Thank you.
Best to eat a variety of greens. There are so many more beside these three. Some of the nutrients such as the amino acid profile are negligible in greens, so in that sense, this is misleading.
If you are a meat eater chose red or romaine, if you are vegetarian choose red. As a meat eater I would probably do a 2/1 ratio of romaine to red.
Why are the compositions of vitamins and minerals different amongst these lettuces ?
It just is.
Sort of like math, or a foreign language.
are you a big fan of Rick and Karin Dina by any chance?
I hadn't heard of them, but I looked them up due to your comment... looks like they do good informational videos!
Facts Matter
Why didn’t you include iceberg??? Trying to convince my son to eat other lettuce!
