    Honestly this may be a hot take but, I believe you explain this better than the guy who invented it.

    • @33rdframe
      @33rdframe  5 месяцев назад +6

      This is actually quite common as the guy who invented it is really smart and these ideas are almost second nature to him. But I had to struggle and study just to understand even the basics which means I see things from the perspective of NOT understanding.
      Thus i am able to communicate to the people who don't understand better. Michael Jordan was the G.O.A.T in basketball but he wasn't a great coach.

    This, this is what I was looking for. Someone to explain it who has had the same struggles I have. With that being said, I am still relatively new to the whole of 3d printing, so just had a question on putting the pause at the layer to switch. I have a Bambu A1 mini with the ams system. If I wanted to do more than 4 colors, how would I go about that? The first 4 would be easy, obviously, but say I wanted to do 6? Do I use the AMS for the first 4, put a pause in at the 5th color, and switch it out on my AMS? Or would I have to use the external spool holder and manually do all the filament changes? Any help would be appreciated! For now as I start, I will shoot small, but hopefully in time venture into more colors!

    If this is an on going series... please let your viewer know hueforge license is not correct... personal is not a full feature see their "color match lesson 1" personal is not full feature as commercial has features not in the personal. Such as "color match" is not in personal and has been stated its for commercial only but the title is changed to "beta" only now but see where the confusion by other comments.
    I have the personal as wasn't/haven't decided on selling so the personal is a very hard and useless "full feature" hueforge with missing features. Do not recommend.

      According to the personal license description it states multiple times it includes all features. Only difference seems to be cant sell them. Wondering if this has changed since your comment was posted?

    • @l.l.3073
      @l.l.3073 28 дней назад

      @BradRemillard the website is very confusing. 1 version states everything is exactly the same between personal (no selling) and commercial (can sell), 2nd version show other detail like commercial also has other benefits like beta version... also not sure why "tutorial" folder in an beta/commercial version and only for commercial so this kinda like misleading.... also if your paying for "lifetime" your updates and support ends after 2 years and if you want additional support/updates you need to pay for annual...so might be better for annual since 2 year annual is same as life time in reguards to update/support... granted lifetime grants you too sell forever be it maybe out of date in 2027 if you get your lic this year since it ends after 2026.

The original programmer may understand his software best, but that does not make him a natural teacher like you are. You have far more views than most of the HueForging videos for a good reason. I don't have many of the filaments listed in hue forge, I can tell though what filaments that I have are more translucent that others, and I tend to just stick with those for most things. So that means my pictures do not come out close to what I see in hue forge though, but close enough then I play around with it some form there.

      you can take the opportunity of each print ... to adapt the TD values of your filament ..... to find the good value , play with the colors to get on screen something that is as close as possible to what your print is :)

      You can do HF without AMS ... so if you already have a 4 colors AMS it's already more easy :) .... simply assign more than one color to the same slot :) and swap spools when not needed anymore ( so don't use the same slot for 2 consecutive colors )
