Just dropping by because I love your personality and your humility. So unlike most RUclipsrs.
Your kitty cat on your bed is ADORABLE!
I’m still struggling with how to make my hair just so. Like it feels soft but not exactly smooth. I’m using bond treatments, leave-ins, and I’m not adverse to silicones. I’ve slept in bonnets or wraps now for about two years.
Because of its texture (fine, frizzy, high porosity), it tangles if I look at it wrong and I hate it.

Ah you are so kind thanks Pamela.
That is Boston and she is the laziest Ragdoll cat ever which means she ends up in all the videos I film in my bedroom because it's where she spends all of her daytimes 😆
When I wear my hair wavy or curly mine also feels soft but only ever probably feels truly smooth when I do a blowout on it - I think that just be part of the natural texture.
Do you use leave-in conditioner? That's made a huge difference for my tangles x

i have been loving exploring haircare the past few years and fell in love with K18 after using olaplex for so many years. I still use both but the changes K18 has made for my hair after color is incomparable. ALthough I have been trying the comeback kid from fenty and it may have beat the K18 for the results and ease it has on my hair! I have noticed instant results and it is so tempting to use every washday because of the ease in use and the results it gives! I'm going to try the redken acidiic bonding mask you mentioned already in a few videos so I can tell how much you love it! Also that aldi oil almost looks like a dupe for the gisou honey oil which is one of my fave oils.

Ah yes thank you for putting me out of my misery I could not remember for the life of me what oil it’s supposed to be a dupe of but you’re right it’s the gisou oil!!
I’ve not tried or tbh even heard about the fenty one but I feel the way you describe it is how I feel about the redken one ☺️
The haircare out on the market there days is really unbelievable ❤️✨

I haven’t tried anything from eva nyc … do you rate that brand?

@ i’ve only tried the hair mask and the primer, the primer is my holy grail especially cause they recently fixed the packaging, the hair mask is okay but i’ve tried better and i haven’t heard that many good things about their other products but i will say the primer is 100% worth trying (they also have a fine hair version i think)

When do you use (or how do you decide which) the different bond repair products, and how often?

    • @Tori_Hunter

I only use k18 after I’ve just had my colour done, mainly because it’s expensive so I’m sparing with it.
At the moment I’m using redken weekly and I am honestly blown away by how my hair is feeling in terms of strength and condition.
I’ve been using redken instead of olaplex but I was using olaplex about every 3 weeks.
Hope that helps please let me know if you have any questions 👍😊

Great tips. Although my hair isn't damaged, but my greys, especially the top, are so problematic & temperamental. After 4 years of trying to figure out what works for my hair, I think I found out that scrunching, microplopping and pixie diffusing, does seem to make it worse. I'm planning to try the Dove Bond Strength shampoo and conditioner and see if that helps. I'm also trying to find products that have silicones and hoping that will help too. I'm also like to keep it simple as possible, too.

So glad you found some of the tips useful. I’d really love to try that range too - I’m visiting US later this year so I’m going to make sure I pick some up 😊❤️

Sleeping with a satin hair bonnet has been crucial in waking up with smooth hair. Even sleeping on a satin or silk pillowcase weren’t as helpful as a satin sleep bonnet.

Amodimethicone is amazing stuff. And at the molecular level it only attaches where it's needed, which means I have far less weight & buildup than with more "natural" ingredients (thanks Lab Muffin)!

Michelle's info is amazing, I LOVE her channel 😀 I'm not into this whole "natural" or "clean" ingredients thing....🤷‍♀️
