What I find interesting about the charts in 1975 and 1976 is that there isn’t a dominant genre in the top 40. In 1973-74 groups like Slade, Mud, Sweet and artists like Suzi Quatro and Alvin Stardust ruled the charts, but ‘glam’ music had all but died by 1975. It wouldn’t be until 1977-79 that charts would be ruled by disco, 1978 especially 🙌
