- All of the audio files from Assassin's Creed Rogue, unlocking by hacking Abstergo computers during the game in the same manner as in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Expertly narrated by Otso Berg, a character introduced to the series in 2012 but only just debuting in the games now. Files are played in intended chronological order, rather than in the order they are unlocked.
This doesn't cover the entire modern day plot in Rogue; there are unlockable documents, as well as some fantastic cutscenes. If you're looking for those, have a poke around the internet... or y'know, buy the game.

berg's backstory is quite fascinating.
Otso Berg is dangerous as he is the leader of the Sigma Team and he commands the Templar Special Forces who follow him with the utmost respect. This is shown in AC Uprising when the Templar Special Forces followed Berg's orders without question when it comes to apprehending the Instruments of the First Will. What is interesting is that Otso Berg dominates every conversation he is in with his superiors and enemies. When he talks to his superiors, it seems like Berg is ordering his superiors not the other way around.
Sure, they Assassin's may be seen as terrorists, but the Templars are obviously corrupt and drunk with the idea that they control the world. Also, Haythem is actually one of the few Templars I have respect for. Otso Berg, I despise and pity him with a passion. Haythem held on to emotions, and that led him to think of ways to achieve his goals, without over abuse of power and also stayed his hand from killing Achilles. Otso Berg really is no more than a plaything of the templars, who can think of nothing more than killing Assassins. Has he even stopped to wonder what the Templars would do to him when there are no more Assassins to track down to eliminate?
Actually, Shay was the one who convinced Haythem to stay his hand. Haythem didn't just say, "I will spare you Achilles."

Timothy Wei Im not trying to justify the Assassins. Just trying to state that Burg is no better, and is honestly the character within the modern-day part of the series that I really wish would just go away.
Timothy Wei You're absolutely right.Daniel Cross did say the Templar's were in fact using Berg as an expendable attack dog whilst the latter obliviously styles himself as "the Order's humble servant" .
To me, I don't even think Berg is fully on board with the Templar's goals and objectives until he started to immerse himself in their world.
Omega-Kiba Otso Berg is nothing more than a plaything . I don't think it's ever crossed his mind what the Templars will have for him once his usefulness is done but I'm guessing it may not include a happily ever after with his daughter. It's as Daniel Cross predicts,
" And in the glorious New World Order, there won't be any room for broken toys like us! "

You know the Templars did a very great job recruiting Berg into the order because for my point of view it saves his little baby girl from dying from her very bad illness right guys
I think Ubisoft should consider hiring a different voice actor to play Berg next time. I'm finnish and I can tell he pronounces the word perkele totally wrong. It sounds stupid when he says it. The character doesn't feel believable if he can't even speak finnish correctly.

But looking back on Berg's story it says that he grew up around the world in places like Afghanistan, Kurdistan, and Oman because his Dad worked for an oil company that belonged to Abstergo. And as a result, when Berg first joined Special Forces, he was ridiculed for having a "muddled accent". So the reason he sounds like that may be intentional. I'm sorry if I don't know how Finnish people sound like, I was born in Colombia and spent most of my life in the States.
Im swedish and yh, he sounds identical to Vidic. And to make things worse, this is a french company who apparently couldn't find any actual french/canadian VAs for Unity. U know, a game set in France.
Although, Rockstar did hire an American to voice a Serbian.
No disrespect for Andreas Apergis (the voice actor of Otso), but he pronounces perkele completely wrong xD

Andreas Apergis... Thank you, that was the information I was looking for, but all my Google searches led to stuff about the NPC Otso Berg character and nothing about the voice actor.
Despite all my attempts and variations over simple, and then less and less simple, key search words, such as f.ex.: "video game character Otso Berg - voice actor"; "Voice actor of video game 'Assassin's Creed: Rogue', NPC character Orso Berg"; "Otso Berg voice actor"; "Who is voice acting video game character Otso Berg?"; and so on and so forth. All I got was a list of results about Otso Berg's in-game character history, Assassin's Creed videos featuring sequences of Otso Berg (like the one at this channel).
