Glad to see you were able to find a little snow at least to camp in! I've done many trips just like this one in the shoulder seasons (it SHOULD be winter, but it doesn't feel like it) and they have a charm all their own. Usually not the big mountain views that we will be getting later in the year, but just hiking up a service road, finding a nice spot and just have an evening around a fire. Good stuff!
