My father took my family there "Bighorns" in 1986. I was 16 and fell in love with the mountains of the "west". Grew up in upstate NY. I have always wanted to get back to these mnt. Thanks for reminding me of why the bighorns mean so much to me or rekindling the memories. As I live on the west coast now. I realize how big the west is... mountain choices have become plentiful.
Great video...I love your timelapae work! YOu were literally hiking in the day we were hiking out to Coffeen TH. The size of that 'shroom doesn’t surprise me given how much rain the Bighorns received in the previous week! We saw lots of pika going over Exit pass, some Elk below Spear Lake and 1 bull moose as we drove out along Red Grade rd. I'd advise visiting the north side of the higher peaks - in 5 days we saw 16 people and no-one for 2 of those days. Hope to meet up on the trail someday!
Nice to wake up and watch this video! Looked like perfect weather for the views! The Moose were cool. I've been charged by a Bull Moose before, not fun. Thanks for sharing! Hike on!
After camping at Island Lake in the Winds a few years ago in the middle of a back country latrine I pack EVERYTHING out (everything solid that comes out of me). Can't freaking stand how hoggish and irresponsible some are!!
Beautiful country! Thank you for taking us along! Loved it all!
The wildlife is so beautiful! The pikas are the absolute cutest!

Very cool to see you hiking in the Cloud Peak Wilderness. No limits to your wandering.
