Breeding in gen 2 is actually a lot easier than you might think. Due to the fact that parent Pokemon are guaranteed to pass down at least 3 DVs (IVs) to their offspring and the fact that DVs determine shininess in gen 2, you can use this to your advantage and use parents that have the necessary DVs for a Pokemon to be shiny and you can have as high as a 1/64 chance to hatch a shiny. Obviously the eggs do take forever and a half to hatch, but this is still actually one of the easiest ways to obtain shinies. Also, the stuff about shiny Jirachi is completely wrong. The seed that determines Jirachi's PID (and therefore shininess) is the exact same on every save file and every copy of the game, so it's impossible to hunt a shiny Jirachi by resetting your save file over and over. Data miners and RNG specialists have done a lot of research on the Colosseum Bonus Disc Jirachi, and they've confirmed that the only way to obtain a shiny one without cheats is by using RNG abuse, which is not difficult at all if you know the process. (I also don't think RNG abuse should even count as shiny hunting but that's just a matter of opinion.) Manaphy is definitely the ultimate test of a shiny hunter's patience though, definitely want to go for it some day just to say I've done the hardest shiny hunt out there. It's a shame its shiny isn't even that different, I feel like half the difficulty of the hunt is going to come from not wanting to bother spending so much time going for such a mediocre shiny, haha. Anyway, enjoyed the video! Though most of these are still super easy ;)

I caught it for the Pokédex. A minute or two later, I found a Shiny Vespiquen. I freaked out. I caught it, gave it a terrible nickname (Shiner) and treasured it. I still have it.
“Guzzlord is the hardest Ultra Beast to find” Me: but I found mine like the 10th wormhole I went into WITH MOTION CONTROLS Did I accomplish the impossible?
8:08 actually there is a way in gen 2 to get shinies really easily but you need a shiny ditto. You can easily perform a glitch in gen 2 where you trade a shiny pokemon from gen 2 to gen 1 and make it do some stuff with a wild ditto before catching it(you can see how this is easy because you have to encounter the shiny gyarados as part of the storyline so you can trade the shiny gyarados to gen 1 to perform the glitch) and when u transfer the ditto to gen 2, if the glitch was carried out correctly, the ditto will be shiny. Now all you have to do is just slap any pokemon(excluding legends obviously) into the daycare with the shiny ditto and the egg has a 1/64 chance of being shiny. There is also a duplication glitch I gen 2 do you can dupe your shinies aswell
No roaming legends? Really? Also, I'm fairly certain Jirachi was proven to be impossible. I don't know much of the process, but I know Sonikkts1 and Evo2587 are able to explain it better than I ever could.
Elite4Walkthroughs The wish maker Jirachi from what I know can be shiny and because of how it's determined it has like a 1/7000 ish chance of being shiny (It doesn't use Trainer ID secret ID Personality value etc. It just gives you a random Jirachi out of X amount of possible Jirachi's and 9 of them are shiny. (So you can only get a shiny Jirachi with 9 different nature's and IVs. Luckily one of them is jolly though))
Dataminers have proven you have to RNG abuse it in order to get it shiny. Either that or Pomeg glitch it, excluding the 2014/2016 distribution events it had. But for the Bonus Disc Jirachi specifically, it's not possible to shiny hunt.
Well I just went on my old HG save from when I was a kid today to find a shiny Raikou I caught in a master ball sitting in the PC. Back then I had no clue what it was and got it in my first and only playthrough of HG. Forgot I had it and damn I was so happy when I saw it in the PC
In european Emerald games (the non English ones) there is actually a way to unlock the Old Sea Map with the pomeg berry glitch! Did this thing myself and hunted for that Mew. Was the happiest man on earth when it finally decided to shine after 19,751 times of playing hide and seek.
First time I played UltraMoon, I started with Rowley because I did the same in Moon. I was soft resetting for an Adamant or Jolly nature, not a shiny. 3 resets in, I got the shiny. Was absolutely speechless and I got the Adamant nature to boot.
Took about 6 months of riding on a Rhyhorn to find my shiny Helioptile. Next longest was 3.5 months of nonstop hunting for Deoxys in Pokémon Leaf Green.
I think it's worth noting that the way Shiny Frames are generated in Emerald is the exact same as the other Gen 3 games. The problem, however, is that in the Gen 3 games, the frames are supposed to continue from when the game was turned off, basically like a bookmark. Emerald doesn't have that, basically starting those frames from the beginning of the loop.
My longest hunt is my shiny blacephalon hunt which I'm still hunting now and its officially been a month of hunting it. i have the shiny charm and usually hunt like 6 hours a day
Alger Vaughan it’s definitely not shiny locked because in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon all Ultra Beasts can be shiny and I’ve seen lots of poketubers including Patterz, getting their shiny blacephalon
Alger Vaughan no problem! I’m just very unlucky even type:null was a shorter hunt and after I get my shiny blacephalon I’m taking a break from Soft Resetting
I got a shiny chespin not even a day after i started my hunt (lucky me ig). I started yesterday at like 7:50 pm and finally got it today at around 4 pm after only 269 SRs in my x version. Dont give up kiddos I believe in u. Though my advice for shiny hunting starters in gen 6 and 7 is that you should definitely keep urself busy as hell when doing it (like watching long entertaining videos). It makes it a whole lot less excruciating and actually kinda fun since ur not hyperfocused on the hunt.
Actually, a pretty cool thing you can do is inject the mew event into your save file with an R4 card. You can do this with other events too like deoxys, the eon ticket, and navel rock. The only catch with mew is you have to have a Japanese emerald, but those are fairly cheap on ebay, even for a legitimate copy.
After careful consideration, I have decided that manaphy is actually easier to hunt than jirachi. The reason for this is because you can use multiple cartridges to hatch the manaphy eggs on and get yourself more manaphy eggs. I am currently hunting manaphy and I got 5 different eggs (all legit from pokemon ranger games I played through) and I can crank out encounters at a decent rate between three different cartridges. with the jirachi hunt, you get one jirachi per save file and thats it. You have to restart your game after one encounter where with manaphy you can theoretically get as many encounters as you are insane per save file.
Just an add on for manaphy: platinum isn’t the only game you can do this on. To transfer the egg you need at least one sinnoh game (diamond, pearl, or platinum) but you can use ANY gen 4 game to hatch the egg on.
Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen it has a fateful encounter tag meaning it can't be wonder traded or put on the GTS. So unless it was local or you saw them encounter it, it's hacked
Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen I have a shiny Jirachi Japan import event with ribbon level 15. I trade you it for a copy of that Mew event. I am collecting Japan only events. Need that and shiny Genesect.

Poipole is such a hard hunt and I have no idea why. I got a shiny Lugia at 4700 SRs on SoulSilver, and a shiny Cyndaquil at 7000 SRs on the same game, but Poipole took almost 9000 SRs on Ultra Moon... and the shiny chance is supposed to be double, huh >_
i got very lucky with shiny vespiquen, took 1347 eggs and 6 shiny male combee prior, but i safely obtained my shiny level ball vespiquen, properly named "her majesty"
the Soulsilver Heartgold starters are actually the easiest starters to hunt, because the sprites are shown as shiny even before you select your pokemon, as long as you are content with any shiny starter. Using this method, I got a shiny chicorita in under 5 hours. Also currently hunting for a shiny rowlet in Moon for my trial quest, wish me luck!
combee and salandit are pretty easy to be female if you use a male cute charmer, and the gen 2 breeding method, if you use a single shiny pokemon to breed with it's a 1/64 shiny chance, so it's not bad at all, and if you don't use ANY shiny parent, it's either impossible, or rarer than the standard 1/8192. because the stats are what determine shininess, and stats get passed down by parents.
I did a Shiny Rowlett after 13,000 SRs, and didn't play the game till I got it. It was one of the most satisfying playthroughs of a pokemon game I've ever had. It did take me 4 years though...
I’m so glad the cutscene in Ultra S&M is shorter than S&M. There is no way I would soft reset with the S&M cutscene. I soft reset for Popplio in Ultra S&M and got it in 237 resets!

- Well actually, the starters from HGSS are like super easy to hunt. I would recommand it to any person starting shiny hunt for the first time. It takes 14scs to reset and you can check if one of them is shiny. YES YOU CAN HUNT FOR THE THREE AT THE SAME TIME. So yeah, really easy. I won't say the rest is easy though. My longest hunt was on the starters on 7g. Rowlet : 8567 resets for the one from the cutscene (2mn30) Almost 17days non stop. Took me a year. BUT the worst is not on 7th as you like to think. It's actually on the 6th. If you want to put a nickname for you and your pokemon it takes 6 mn. And yes. I counted. I was hunting for the starters from HGSS meanwhile and I got an awful lot of resets for only one. Even to me it was way too much. - And, for Celebi, hum... It's as you say just reset. It's pretty easy. You're really used to the 4096 chances with shiny charm huh xD ? I'm not judging, people hunt however they like. I'm the kind of hunter to love having a long hunt so that I can enjoy and love and care for the pokemon, show them around like a trophy (the higher the number is, the happier I am to brag about it ^^) annnnddd I'm actually luckier in 1/8192 for whatever reason. So yeah. I was even AGAINST the use of the shiny charm (not in 7g since, gosh, Rowlet really made me mad about it so I got it... annnndd then I got mad at MYSELF because it became too easy so now I only hunt in 4g... I'm masochist but the pleasure isn't just in the reward but also in the waiting...) - For Manaphy, actually, it's kinda what you said but I would clear something : To sum up what you said (for people who want the instructions), it'll be the same process as Jirachi. You take your game console with manaphy on it (let's say you got it in its egg form in Platinum) and just know that he'll never be shiny on this version. Then, you start a new game in, let's say, diamond. You transfer it to Diamond. You save. You check if it's shiny. If it's not shiny on Diamond, too bad, reset, send the egg back to Platinum, restart your game and resend it to Diamond and try again. It's a LONG process, maybe even longer than Jirachi. BUT YOU CAN DO IT WITHOUT RESTARTING ON A DIFFERENT COPY EVERY TIME (or restart a pokemon ranger game on a different cartridge, cause I also hear that once) I know that's kinda what you said but I wanted to lay out the process and say that, yeah you can just not restart on another and another and another. The best thing would be to have like a diamond, pearl and platinum and switch and stuff but oh well. And I think people give it so much time just because it's symbolic. It's so hard to have so it's a sentimental value of all the time and effort you put into it and your bravery to attempt such a quest. Personnally ? I would have said some are harder like : - Darkrai D/P without the event (means you have to glitch to get to him, the same goes for Shaymin even if it's easier) - Goinfrex (sorry, french name) in D/P/Pt cause OMG 1% appearing on 6 specific trees and it takes 6 hours to check if it's there ! - Wailord Ruby (cause in Ruby, pokemon have higher levels than in Saphire) : for the most effective way, you use a glitch to use your bike on the ocean to make small hops, you hold with a hammer the button to hop and you have a pokemon with a smoke bomb and the talent Lumiattirance (french again, sorry !) which will raise the ammount of accounters... And you have to be a certain level so that you use some repel. GOSH. AND YOU ONLY HAVE ONE ACCOUNTER BY HOUR IF YOU'RE LUCKY !! Go watch the video from Maitre Armand where he got his Wailord with this method. Truly moving. ... Can't really think of more on the top of my head... I hope my indications were useful to all of you, fellow hunters. And by the way, good luck for your future hunts and I hope you'll have your living shiny dex. I do not aim for that personnally but I really understand the appeal and it's surely one of the reason why you do not like the long searches :) That's understandable but I can tell you it's quite enjoyable too.
Nice video! Combee's a little easier in Gen VI thanks to the Friend Safari and Cute Charm. If you lead with a fainted male Pokémon with Cute Charm, you're able to skew the odds to 50/50 Combee's gender, and the odds of a shiny are 1/512 making it much less difficult than previous generations!
Phione should be on the list because you need the Manaphy egg, then you have to hatch it, then you have to find a Ditto, then you have to breed Manaphy and Ditto for shiny. If you've done all that, just hope that you don't get two shiny Manaphies because you also have a higher chance to find Manaphy from the Ditto breeding egg than Phione so good luck with that. I also have both shiny Celebi and shiny Jirachi, patience my friend.
idk about other games but in the safari zone in HGSS you can run into the same shiny more than once, that was my first shiny, it was an arbok ( i had no idea what a shiny was at this time so i was really confused ) but i ran into the same arbok like 20 times before i caught it.
Wouldn’t getting a gen 1 shiny into gen 2 be really hard? You have to check the stats to see if it’s a shiny then transfer it to gen 2 just to actually prove if it’s a shiny or not, it’s a tedious process.
Jirachi isn't that hard. There's a method which would make it much easier but would require multiple carts. If I ever get into Shiny hunting I'll probably get one.
The shiny frames aren't rare they're fixed to your save so if your seed has a shiny frame on frame 3000 it will always be that frame and it will be an rng clone of every pokemon you had encountered on that frame.
If anyone would like, shiny jirachi is up for grabs (SM or USUM) Would take shiny arceus depending on level, and will definitely take a shiny mew Respond if interested with your name on discord, and we'll contact each other to negotiate, provide information and create plans for our trade.
I have both shiny Manaphy & shiny Jirachi. The Jirachi was an event and the Manaphy is likely not legit, but I traded for both on Reddit and I'm happy with them.
my longest hunt was shiny Delibird it took me 11 hours to get. I dont know how many encounters though becuase this was back when i was brand new to shiny hunting lol
My most unexpected shiny was when one I was like, "You know, what I a shiny starter in firered." So I started soft resetting for it. It took about 100 soft resets and got a shiny charmander. My longest successful hunt was trying to masuda breed for a shiny mawile(my favorite pokemon). It took a few months and nearly 10,000 eggs. I also randomly found a shiny pineco in emerald post-game safari zone; it ran away after throwing one ball.
Hurp123 lol123 It was in Pokemon sun. It was an estimate based on the number of mawile that had the 5 perfect ivs I wanted which were coming in about 5 per 30 so after having so many boxes filled with those 5 per 30 each one was equal to 6 plus the ones I wasn't keeping track of before and the ones I bred before I could actually Masuda method it could be anywhere from 8,000 to 10,000. Literally half my pc is filled with 5 perfect iv mawile with the ability I wanted and I gave away like a whole box on wondertrade.
I hunted for a shiny Celebi and it took me about 20,000 SR's to get it. It was easy to catch but the hunt was painful as it takes about 30 seconds per reset at the fastest. Still not bad compared to some others but 30 seconds is still painful compared when all you've previously done were fast SR hunts like surfing Pikachu and UB's
I started shiny hunting with a lucky like, first few eggs masuda alolan Sandslash, and I began again with a few chance Eevee’s, and then I got a box chock full of shinies in Violet. I want to do a hunt that really solidifies me as an ACTUAL shiny hunter. I want to do Jirachi. I love shiny Jirachi.
The other day I decided to replay Omega Ruby and I decided to pick mudkip. I wanted to use it in competitive so I was resetting for an adamant nature and I got a shiny one! I was freaking out for like 10 minutes straight. Very memorable moment
The alternate way to get shiny Celebi is via the Coin Case glitch in G/S. Which involves sacrificing a low level pokemon for it and then questioning its legitness for the rest of your life.
When I was starting a Soul Silver Nuzlocke, I figured I'd just go for a shiny starter. I didn't count the encounters, but it took less than 2 hours to find a shiny Cyndaquil! I was s happy!
I did the odd egg cloning process, and thought it's a lot trickier to get it right in Crystal I'd say it's worth it. I managed to clone it 4 times, and then 3 out of the 4 eggs hatched shiny. 75% success rate, awwright!
I spent over a year breeding for a shiny Relicanth in ORAS. And I finally hatched one on the day of my grandparents' funeral. That thing is precious to me.

I got shiny guzzlord first encounter
My bro got me a dang shiny mudkip in 6 sr
Waste of luck, could have gotten a much harder to obtain Pokémon in 50 SR, Celebi, Jirachi, etc.
Officially changed my name to "?". Now, I can spell my name with shiny unown :) DOes that count??
Prerit Goel Unown has "!" and "?" forms as well besides the alphabetical ones...
When you said what's going on everyone my name is patterz in the captions it says my name is medicine 😂
Xenosis F2G Lol 😂
Look at the captions at 0:28
And in the intro it says (Applause) for Darkrai's cry
Gavin Twomey I saw you comment on another video today! How funny is that!
I got a shiny mew from wonder trade
And yes i know it’s hacked but i don’t care
“Guzzlord is the hardest Ultra Beast to find”
Me: but I found mine like the 10th wormhole I went into WITH MOTION CONTROLS
Did I accomplish the impossible?
SpiralBird no it’s more common than you think
rekka battou
I’m not a shiny hunter but I hunted for a shiny Mewtwo in usum and it took about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Droid of Courage Connor A friend of mine got his in 15 encounters. It took me 2 days....😒
LatinGuido817 child's play. I full odds hunted Regigigas and got it after 6,174 SR. Half a month baby😂😭
Btw it was without the shiny charm in I think a level 1 (1 ring) portal.
Droid of Courage Connor Oof
AmazingTreecko77 Bet you my shiny Celebi hunt will top that (currently on Day 12)...
Yeah i noticed it whilst going through other comments
I have a shiny Jirachi....
Dataminers have proven you have to RNG abuse it in order to get it shiny. Either that or Pomeg glitch it, excluding the 2014/2016 distribution events it had. But for the Bonus Disc Jirachi specifically, it's not possible to shiny hunt.
It is possible to Shiny hunt. Please do your research.
People are always complaining about Guzzlord but I find him all the time
Yeah, all you do is leave Guzma's refridgerator open all night
@@trashlambo and then guzzlord eats the fridge😂
Forgotten_Frostbite
It was the first UB I found in both Ultra Games
Well I just went on my old HG save from when I was a kid today to find a shiny Raikou I caught in a master ball sitting in the PC. Back then I had no clue what it was and got it in my first and only playthrough of HG. Forgot I had it and damn I was so happy when I saw it in the PC
I got shiny jirachi from wonder trade
HGSS has the easiest shiny starter hunt in my opinion, since you can hunt for all 3 at once, it would only difficult if looking for a specific one
Pff looks easy
IKR Done All These In Under A Day (At Most)
I got a hacked shiny jirachi from wonder trade... works fine
What looks easy I've spent 16 days looking for shiny mewtwo soft resetting so difficult
In european Emerald games (the non English ones) there is actually a way to unlock the Old Sea Map with the pomeg berry glitch! Did this thing myself and hunted for that Mew.
Was the happiest man on earth when it finally decided to shine after 19,751 times of playing hide and seek.
Patterz you should've made the Darkrai, Rowlet, and Arcanine shiny in the intro.
First time I played UltraMoon, I started with Rowley because I did the same in Moon. I was soft resetting for an Adamant or Jolly nature, not a shiny. 3 resets in, I got the shiny. Was absolutely speechless and I got the Adamant nature to boot.
what Pokemon were you talking about in the intro or were you just making it up
the num 1 spot
Captain Pokémon Probably made up but if it was a Pokemon it would probably be Jirachi
Cool change of pace Patterz, you look happy! Keep it up!
My longest one is my Xurkitree shiny hunt that I have been doing for more than a month.
Nightmare luck to you dude and I am not using the shiny charm either.
Good luck on your hunt man, I just got my shiny Latias today, and I had been hunting it for one day less than a month
Took about 6 months of riding on a Rhyhorn to find my shiny Helioptile. Next longest was 3.5 months of nonstop hunting for Deoxys in Pokémon Leaf Green.
Tyson Moonie good for you bro. Hope you get any future shines that you will hunt for.
Sperry the god You too my dude! May the shiny gods smile upon you!!! :D
My longst huns was a shiny dialga i got it on 6987
Shiny hunting for unknown in you name is easy
Unless you were born in India
My longest hunt is my shiny blacephalon hunt which I'm still hunting now and its officially been a month of hunting it. i have the shiny charm and usually hunt like 6 hours a day
Liam Haugh did you search if it's shiny locked or not? I don't know if it is and that might be the case.
Alger Vaughan it’s definitely not shiny locked because in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon all Ultra Beasts can be shiny and I’ve seen lots of poketubers including Patterz, getting their shiny blacephalon
Liam Haugh ok, thanks!
Alger Vaughan no problem! I’m just very unlucky even type:null was a shorter hunt and after I get my shiny blacephalon I’m taking a break from Soft Resetting
Liam Haugh after I complete the pokedex, I'm going straight for Kyogre
I got a shiny chespin not even a day after i started my hunt (lucky me ig). I started yesterday at like 7:50 pm and finally got it today at around 4 pm after only 269 SRs in my x version. Dont give up kiddos I believe in u.
Though my advice for shiny hunting starters in gen 6 and 7 is that you should definitely keep urself busy as hell when doing it (like watching long entertaining videos). It makes it a whole lot less excruciating and actually kinda fun since ur not hyperfocused on the hunt.
I got a 1st encounter shiny dialga and that is my only first encounter shiny
Borna Majeric yeah thats probaly your only ever. I also got a few and 1 was first SOS. (It was bagon, a mega salamence.)
Borna Majeric congrats. my only first encounter shiny was a latias. I personally love shiny latias
Mr. KrustyKrust
Shiny Latias is awesome. I wish Latios had a better shiny, because I love Latios.
Actually, a pretty cool thing you can do is inject the mew event into your save file with an R4 card. You can do this with other events too like deoxys, the eon ticket, and navel rock. The only catch with mew is you have to have a Japanese emerald, but those are fairly cheap on ebay, even for a legitimate copy.
but there is the shiny ditto glitch
The Blue Gallade what’s the shiny ditto glitch
MahoxyGaming *I think hes talking gen 2 but thats not a glitch*
"No one's going to sit here and search for all the forms of shiny unown" Me: ...
my name has like 9 letters, no shiny unknown name for me...
My longest hunt was eevee in oras....13,786 encounters, i keep a picture of it with the encounter framed on the wall
You still do top 10's?
man how has patterz not gotten more than 1mil subs yet? I thought his would have blown up by now.
LUL one day maybe
Patterrz, I can tell you have a massive brain.
thats funny
The domiNATION isn't it 1 manaphy egg per cartridge? not 1 per save file
I got a shiny jirachi of wonder trade with the ot of WISHMKR
Just an add on for manaphy: platinum isn’t the only game you can do this on. To transfer the egg you need at least one sinnoh game (diamond, pearl, or platinum) but you can use ANY gen 4 game to hatch the egg on.
I have a shiny Mew from the Japanese 3rd gen event that I got from a trade
Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen it has a fateful encounter tag meaning it can't be wonder traded or put on the GTS. So unless it was local or you saw them encounter it, it's hacked
Piplup1704 I didn't get it in a wonder trade I got it in a normal trade and I can't be sure but all of its info matches up correctly
Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen I have a shiny Jirachi Japan import event with ribbon level 15. I trade you it for a copy of that Mew event. I am collecting Japan only events. Need that and shiny Genesect.
Джинзó Аркайдия i have 2 shiny genesects? They're pretty simple to get
"If you wanna try in Heart Gold or Soul Silver you gotta contend with the 1/8096 shiny chance..."
*Laughs in 540 SR/s x 3 chances per hour*
hello i am your korean fan. Your smile is so pretty that I subscribed to it. Your reaction is always cool. I don't speak english well but I hope you understand my writing.
I will visit your channel everyday. 😁😁
Man if Patterz made another hard to find shinies there will be a really good chance that real shiny sinistea would be top three
Hunting Poipole.......at 8510 SR with no luck
Poipole is such a hard hunt and I have no idea why. I got a shiny Lugia at 4700 SRs on SoulSilver, and a shiny Cyndaquil at 7000 SRs on the same game, but Poipole took almost 9000 SRs on Ultra Moon... and the shiny chance is supposed to be double, huh >_
It’s tough but I’m still going at it. I’ve taken a few days off so I don’t pull my hair out
It took me 13819 resets lol
Flame Star i have a shiny poipole but it took so long to get it
Just keep at it and you’ll get it eventually
i got very lucky with shiny vespiquen, took 1347 eggs and 6 shiny male combee prior, but i safely obtained my shiny level ball vespiquen, properly named "her majesty"
I found Guzzlord 1st try and wasn't even going for it. Wow.
so you dont even talke aboute shiny feebas...
I was surprised shiny lugia from xd gales of darkness wasn't on this
Daniel Newsome I don't think that can be shiny
it can't be shiny
the Soulsilver Heartgold starters are actually the easiest starters to hunt, because the sprites are shown as shiny even before you select your pokemon, as long as you are content with any shiny starter. Using this method, I got a shiny chicorita in under 5 hours. Also currently hunting for a shiny rowlet in Moon for my trial quest, wish me luck!
I found shiny Groudon
MegaRayquaza24 Gaming what game?
JordanGamers Yt Pokemon ultra sun
MegaRayquaza24 Gaming how long did it take you
Nice, I got my shiny Groudon in Soul Silver.
I got my shiny Groudon in soul silver
"No one is going to waste their time on getting all shiny unknown-"
TheUnderdog2020; "Hold my juice!"
ORAS Shiny Deoxys:
1. Catch Rayquaza
2. Get through long flipping cutscene
3. Encounter Deoxys
*R E P E A T*
Xmite Shiny locked
can't be shiny
Xmite pls don't tell me that you were shiny hunting that deoxys.
Deoxys is locked rip
Piplup1704 i thought that no legends in oras was shiny locked...
combee and salandit are pretty easy to be female if you use a male cute charmer, and the gen 2 breeding method, if you use a single shiny pokemon to breed with it's a 1/64 shiny chance, so it's not bad at all, and if you don't use ANY shiny parent, it's either impossible, or rarer than the standard 1/8192. because the stats are what determine shininess, and stats get passed down by parents.
I love your videos. your satire, is always on point
I did a Shiny Rowlett after 13,000 SRs, and didn't play the game till I got it. It was one of the most satisfying playthroughs of a pokemon game I've ever had. It did take me 4 years though...
I don't know why, but him saying "fuck it" at the beginning of the video is so satisfying.
Only ONE person has ever caught a Chansey in the Safari Zone
I’m so glad the cutscene in Ultra S&M is shorter than S&M. There is no way I would soft reset with the S&M cutscene. I soft reset for Popplio in Ultra S&M and got it in 237 resets!
This is me
10: Shiny Guzzlord- Got one
9: Shiny Starter by Soft reset- Got in Oras
8: Haven’t gotten enough to spell out a world
7: Safari Zone- Haven’t found one
6: Combee Female- Got a few males and a lucky female
5: Gen 2 egg- Nope
4: Celebi Gen 2- Nope
3: Mew- Nope
2: Wishmaker Jirachi- I have a hacked shiny Jirachi from WT, but it ain’t wishmaker Jirachi
1: Manaphy- Not in a million years
- Well actually, the starters from HGSS are like super easy to hunt.
I'm masochist but the pleasure isn't just in the reward but also in the waiting...)
- For Manaphy, actually, it's kinda what you said but I would clear something :
To sum up what you said (for people who want the instructions), it'll be the same process as Jirachi. BUT YOU CAN DO IT WITHOUT RESTARTING ON A DIFFERENT COPY EVERY TIME (or restart a pokemon ranger game on a different cartridge, cause I also hear that once)
I know that's kinda what you said but I wanted to lay out the process and say that, yeah you can just not restart on another and another and another.
I would have said some are harder like :
- Darkrai D/P without the event (means you have to glitch to get to him, the same goes for Shaymin even if it's easier)
- Goinfrex (sorry, french name) in D/P/Pt cause OMG 1% appearing on 6 specific trees and it takes 6 hours to check if it's there !
My favorite shiny hunt was for my shiny litwick. It only took me 5 minutes to get.
That Mauli City and Eterna Forest remix of your intro omg!!
Phione, Female Sandalit, Any UB, any Shiny-locked legendary, keldeo, spiky-eared pichu, all that good stuff is pretty dang hard to find
Patterrz needs to get on that aDrive grind! Lol
The shiny celebi hunt I am currently doing has taken longer than any other shiny hunt I have ever done. Over 3 months with about 35000 soft resets.
If anyone would like, shiny jirachi is up for grabs (SM or USUM)
Would take shiny arceus depending on level, and will definitely take a shiny mew
Respond if interested with your name on discord, and we'll contact each other to negotiate, provide information and create plans for our trade.
SAYCHEZFORFREECHEZINCHAT I’ll consider it
I have both shiny Manaphy & shiny Jirachi. The Jirachi was an event and the Manaphy is likely not legit, but I traded for both on Reddit and I'm happy with them.
You seriously had to make this video a day after my birthday last year
Shiny wishmkr dlc and shiny ranger manaphy is absolute menace hunt
Channel shiny jirachi:-"Are you sure about that"?
my longest hunt was shiny Delibird it took me 11 hours to get. I dont know how many encounters though becuase this was back when i was brand new to shiny hunting lol
sjolundman how to count encounters
My most unexpected shiny was when one I was like, "You know, what I a shiny starter in firered." So I started soft resetting for it. It took about 100 soft resets and got a shiny charmander. My longest successful hunt was trying to masuda breed for a shiny mawile(my favorite pokemon). It took a few months and nearly 10,000 eggs. I also randomly found a shiny pineco in emerald post-game safari zone; it ran away after throwing one ball.
10,000 eggs? in what game? and where you actually counting 10k? cuz i highly doubt that number is real
Literally half my pc is filled with 5 perfect iv mawile with the ability I wanted and I gave away like a whole box on wondertrade.
wait, so i see many comments debating whether or not the shiny colloseum jirachi is actually possible or not. Is there a definite answer?
I hunted Mew personally... never found it to be a difficult task after a day of SRs, you can manipulate the path Mew takes with your movement
All you gotta do is sacrifice your sister, mother, unborn child, and favorite chair for Celebi
The other day I decided to replay Omega Ruby and I decided to pick mudkip. I wanted to use it in competitive so I was resetting for an adamant nature and I got a shiny one! I was freaking out for like 10 minutes straight. Very memorable moment
I got a shiny guzzlord full odds in about 30 to 45 minutes for me it was. About 50 sre's to get one
I found a shiny wingull by running threw the grass
The alternate way to get shiny Celebi is via the Coin Case glitch in G/S.
Which involves sacrificing a low level pokemon for it and then questioning its legitness for the rest of your life.
When I was starting a Soul Silver Nuzlocke, I figured I'd just go for a shiny starter. I didn't count the encounters, but it took less than 2 hours to find a shiny Cyndaquil! I was s happy!
I mean I was so happy.
Lucky! It took me almost a month to get my Cyndaquil in SS lol
Of these so far, I got #10 (with an Adamant nature to boot), and I'm on day 11 for #4 on my VC Crystal.
I did the odd egg cloning process, and thought it's a lot trickier to get it right in Crystal I'd say it's worth it. I managed to clone it 4 times, and then 3 out of the 4 eggs hatched shiny. 75% success rate, awwright!
