Sir would u mind clearing my points pls......... "Being booed while performing makes you nervous. "(performing) is it gerund or participle????? And if its gerund then is it active or in passive???????? Thank u sir.....
First of all, there are two main verb types- transitive and intransitive. Transitive verbs always takes object, intransitive verbs come without object. Eg. We scolded a man eating chocolate with his friends in the bar. Scold someone The teacher provide a map with students so they can know where to go and contemplate where things are located. Provide something Marry danced beautifully behind his boyfriend in the bar. Dance intransitive the ga prices have increased a lot in Toronto, meaning there are no cars running on the street. Increase- intransitive , run intransitive. You can add many many modifiers before or after nouns. And then you can turn the verbs into participles regardless of whether it is transitive or intransitive
It causes confusion to me While I have to understand the difference between perfect participle & Perfect Gerund...Could anyone plz clear out my confusion regarding this Problem?????
Awesome👍👏 brother one question it's been one year since neither he called nor he met me is it correct plz tell can we use since neither together plz tell💯❤
Since he neither called nor met me Will be used here because we are using the preposition ( neither ...nor ) for the 2 different verbs not for the subject
Sir please reply .... The thief was caught red handed . Sir ihape red handed adjective kiske liye ayahai puri phrase ke liye na iska motlob ham a samjhe ....the chief who was red handed , was caught. @@Angrezikiclass the small animal was eaten when The small animal was alive ...or the chief was caught when he was in red handed. Sir ye sohi hai kiya please reply sir ji.
Finally understood this topic. Thanks 😀 Great video👏👏👏 You made it too Easy. Plz clear this doubt Are the breaking down of the sentences correct?? Or it always break down in *past perfect* as it refer to activity done in past? --------- 1. I'm(present) excited about having been selected for the company. I'm excited about that I have been(present perfect)* selected for the company. 2. I was(past) excited about having been selected for the company. I was excited about that i had been(past perfect)* selected for the company.
Break down something. Don't use a preposition after it, Preeti. Both sentences (1, 2,) are correct. Appreciate the kind words, Preeti! Keep learning and supporting! ❤️
Sir you have changed the sentence into passive voice through object of preposition, as much as i have learnt that direct/ indirect object is converted . Jhon wrote a message to me for helping the poor. A message was written to me for helping the poor. Will it be true? Please clear my confusion dear sir
I like swimming (AV) - it is not necessary that I am the one who is performing swimming. Anyone including me who is doing swimming is liked by me. Similarly - I like being beaten (PV). it means I am the only one who likes beaten/marna jana ---- Am I correct?
@@Angrezikiclass Sorry, it's me again. You said gerund is just an activity but that's what I was talking about. Swimming is just an activity in the sentence " I like swimming.". This means I like the activity of swimming (not the action performed by me or someone else) that can be performed by anyone, not just me. Similarly, I may not even know how to swim but still, I can say " I like swimming.". If swimming is just an activity here then why the passive voice of "I like swimming" is "I like being swum"? I think I didn't explain properly earlier for you to understand my question. Moreover, I know Gerund has no tense but just wondering what would be the passive voice of the following in gerund form. Pls check the following if they are wrong. You hate (when) I beat you - You hate being beaten by me (in PV)* - just like "she regrets being married to you" = she regrets when you married to her You hate (when) I'm beating you - You hate being beaten by me (in PV)** You hate (when) I have beaten you - You hate having been beaten (in PV) You hate (when) I have been beating you since morning - You hate having been being/getting beaten since morning. I don't see any difference b/t * & ** no idea if i am confusing myself

Since he neither called nor met me

It's been a year since he has called or met me. The structure itself gives the negative connotation.
