the mental health being talked about via music started for me with Linkin Park. i'm so SO grateful that Falling In Reverse and many other bands continue to follow suit
It feels like it’s telling part of Ronnie’s story. Being released from prison and people always coming at him for stuff from his past and how much it bothers him and him finding peace in his daughter. Great symbolism in this video and song
It started off as the trilogy (Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, Drugs) and then he added Popular Monster, Zombified, Voices In My Head and Watch The World Burn that all share a similar story and connect in some ways. When you only do singles rather than albums, you have more room for creativity.
Gosh this song relates to me back when I was in high school. It still runs in me when my boss gives me a hard time at work no matter how hard I try to get things done, only to not get acknowledged but to get so much shoved down my throat. It's gotten at that point where I wanna give a boss a piece of my mind and let her know that her being so condescending, and being so much of it that way with me really pushed me to the edge to where I want nothing to do with her anymore.
The courtroom is the same one in his "The Drug In Me Is You" original video.... What goes around sometimes comes around. If people call you a monster and treat you like a monster, sometimes it's too easy to become that monster. This is Ronnie's catharsis?.... and his daughter, Willow (in the clip), is his saving grace! as mine is for me.
It's the uncontrollable dab for me at the end of the first chorus that tells me it was fire for you too 🔥🔥🔥🔥. This is definitely Ronnie's best chorus he's written.
This song hut very close to me, I've been fighting with depression for the last 14 years & it's hell to live with sometimes. The song is almost identical to what I feel from time to time.
I just saw falling in reverse on Sunday and I’ve seen Ronnie play since he was in escape the fate. When I say his vocals and show have improved 10-fold (and were great to start with) I recommend reacting to his cover of last resort (reimagined) that was just released. Brown away and literally gave chills.
FIR Basist is an MVP he assists Ronnie a lot singing and on the first listen of a song you can think Ronnie does all the singing but if you see them Live you can tell that Mr Burgees co-sings at times and excels at it. The world needs more people like him.
Do reactions to Bad Omens. They are incredible group that started relatively recent. All of their 3 albums are magnificent but yet sound so different from each other
Yess! Lol looks like yoube done most of their newer hits now besides "Zombified" which is also a banger!! Also older stuff like "Good Girls Bad Guys" classic and "Im Not A Vampire"
i love how your reaction is literally how i reacted wen i first heard this song and i been glued to there music since... even went back and listened to old shit that i knew but didnt know they where him
I'm new to your reactions but I've watched a number of them now. I was waiting for this one since you did others and I was so excited and pumped when I seen it! Thank you!
Would love to hear your take on Opeth! There are many amazing songs, but the live version of Ghost of Perdition at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre is truly amazing and a great introduction to their 30+ year discography!
Please do some Bad omens !! The death of peace of mind, like a villain, or artificial suicide are some good starting points !! Live or the recorded version
I agree. Some starters for each other album could be: 1) Bad Omens: Glass Houses; The Worst In Me; 2) Finding God Before God Finds Me: Kingdom of Cards; Careful What You Wish For; Dethrone; Mercy; Burning Out; Never Know; Limits 3) The Death of Peace of Mind: Concrete Jungle; Nowhere to Go; The Death of Peace of Mind; Like a Villain; Just Pretend; Artificial Suicide
"That was pretty... that was very pretty... Also, there's a bunch of dead people in a court!" Spewed my coffee. Thanks for that. And, yes, I understand the gravity of the video's meaning, and the heaviness of the mental health conversation we all need to be open to, but just the way you said it caught me by surprise.
His past is pretty tragic, his mother abandoned him and his brother when they were kids, his father wasn't built to be a father but he did try, and eventually Ronnie went into music and started Escape The Fate, which he released one album with and a couple of demos, but then he got caught up in an incident which involved the death of a guy caused by the people that Ronnie was hanging out with at the time, Ronnie was charged with battery and released on bail, which was then broken when he was found with brass knuckles, so he went to prison and in that time, Escape The Fate, which had guys in it that he grew up with and that were supposed to be his friends kicked him out and found a replacement singer and released an album with that meant to be Ronnie's album, so he formed Falling in Reverse while in prison, he made calls to a few different people who then formed the band with him, those being Derek Jones and Jackie Vincent, and when he got out, they recorded and released their debut album The Drug In Me Is You, which you've reacted to the remade versions of a couple songs from that. Eventually they continued to release a few albums but Ronnie had a lot of controversy following him and eventually his brother died. Escape the Fate eventually kicked out the guitarists from their band and Ronnie felt comfortable enough to then reach out to ETF and they put aside their differences, which mostly resided with the fact that the guitarists stole his music and pushed Escape the Fate to turn against Ronnie. Ronnie then had his daughter with his ex partner, and that relationship went south, but because of past controversies, his ex thought it was ok to drag him down with more controversies and he just became this super hated guy, who I dont feel like he deserved it but opinions differ. He continued to do his thing, Jackie left the band several years ago eventually Ronnie began his current relationship with the woman from the I'm not a Vampire Revamped music video, who is a wrestler which is really cool I think, they're a great couple together. He spoke about a lot of these things in their music over the years. eventually, Derek's wife had cancer and died from it, and although theres no official statement about it, Derek ended his life after his wife died, and that's why the revamped video has a tribute to him at the end. Which leads us to today, because one thing you'll notice about the band is that its focused on Ronnie. Ronnie is the only person in the band that has been there since day 1, and he has worked on all the music himself and made it into what it is today. The controversy never really left Ronnie no matter what he has done, and thats what I feel that this song is about. He struggles with his mental health because of all the tragedies that has happened in his life and all the controversy. He tries to escape it all but he just cant and thats why we see his daughter in the video, because she's seeing everything thats happening and he knows that he has to keep fighting through it all just to survive but its damaging his personal life at the same time. Ronnie is not a bad person at all, although he is portrayed as this crazy guy who has done awful things, those things aren't his fault but he has worn the past to make himself stronger and to not be defeated by his mistakes and the controversies. When he says that he just wants to be okay, I feel like he's saying that he just wants everything to be normal, for no dramas, no problems, no controversies, just whatever it takes to have a life that is positive and its something that just seems to not be able to happen. The guys in the band now are more like a backing band, which understandably, so many people have come and gone from the band, it makes sense that he stops letting people come and go as they please and that the music is centred around the one person that genuinely cares about it. With that said, I dont think that anything from his past makes him a bad person, I think that he just keeps getting brought into bad situations and for a very long time, it almost felt like a cartoon or like a comic, that all these bad things happen continuously to one person no matter what they've done to work through it or escape it, which you can hear in different songs from the band. People judge him extremely fast without knowing the full story of whats happened leading up to things in his life and things happen like a couple months ago Spiritbox was meant to tour with Falling in Reverse and some Spiritbox fans protested against it so Spiritbox dropped the tour, or older musicians attack Ronnie on twitter because everyone just judges him too fast without ever trying to understand him and thats what songs like Watch The World Burn are about, people constantly come at him with the pettiest things but he never does anything to destroy them back when he very well could if he wanted to but he just continues on his grind making music and trying to repair his life. Anyway, I hope that helped, its just a little context into his life and the music and the meaning behind it all. A really good suggestion for you to react to would be "Drugs" by Falling in Reverse, its different from anything you've reacted to them before, and it has Corey Taylor in it 😊 but just as a warning, Drugs the song, will begin the next chapter of your Falling in Reverse reactions. Its part of a trilogy of songs. They came just before the popular monster era of songs came.
Hello there Rachel. I would love seeing you react on any Future Palace songs or on the Dayseeker - Neon Grave | LIVE Performance , i really think you would enjoy that alot. There are many bands out there that deserve to be way more popular than they are.
Love the reactions and FIR + Electric Callboy are my favorites of your reactions so far. What in ear monitors are you using? they look more comfortable than mine and I assume probably higher sound quality?
If I can throw another artist out there, if you haven't listened to Dan Vasc you need to hear his rendition of Amazing Grace. Dan is a metal singer from Brazil. It's not what you would expect, I think you will be blown away!
You should listen "Losing my Life" in my opinion is one of the best songs of FIR Also, you should explore more Ronnie's past in Escape the Fate (band), there was where he get to know himself to the world.

You forgot to say "this is the best to date". We both know watch the world burn is equal or better than this.
@incitingariot9925 but,to be fair,watch the world burn doesn't have a chorus
When this came out I had it on replay for like 3 months.
I love this song sooo much mainly because this was the song that got me into falling in reverse. I heard the breakdown and I was hooked!!!
1:46 and that's why we lover her 😭😭😭😭
This song hut very close to me, I've been fighting with depression for the last 14 years & it's hell to live with sometimes. The song is almost identical to what I feel from time to time.
I’ve seen this video reacted to by many different people and it just hit how emotionally charged his vocals are.
I just saw falling in reverse on Sunday and I’ve seen Ronnie play since he was in escape the fate.

going to see FIR and A7X next month bro i’m so hyped
Hello baby
Это сочетание репа, рока и вокала просто потрясающее! Мощно и круто!
FIR Basist is an MVP he assists Ronnie a lot singing and on the first listen of a song you can think Ronnie does all the singing but if you see them Live you can tell that Mr Burgees co-sings at times and excels at it.
The world needs more people like him.
Yes and no mostly a live thing though. I think that mostly is for breathing breaks in between lines from fast wrap back to scream etc
Please react to falling in reverse trilogy. Losing my mind, losing my life, Drugs. Thank u for reaction❤
Do reactions to Bad Omens. They are incredible group that started relatively recent. All of their 3 albums are magnificent but yet sound so different from each other
Great reaction.
Yes, feeling ok is very underrated.
Greetings from Germany
Yess! Lol looks like yoube done most of their newer hits now besides "Zombified" which is also a banger!! Also older stuff like "Good Girls Bad Guys" classic and "Im Not A Vampire"
If you love Falling In Reverse, you should listen to "Brother". That song hits me super hard every time I hear it.
Speaking of "Brother," you should listen to "Brother" by Saul! 🤘🤘
i love how your reaction is literally how i reacted wen i first heard this song and i been glued to there music since... even went back and listened to old shit that i knew but didnt know they where him
I'm new to your reactions but I've watched a number of them now. I was waiting for this one since you did others and I was so excited and pumped when I seen it! Thank you!
That's his daughter showing him the way out
If u want to hear him flex more on the singing side his "reimagined last resort" is really moving
There's something super genuine about Ronnie's music. He doesn't seem to ever hold back.
What gets to me is..."I fell asleep at the wheel again, crashed my car just to feel again." Gets me every time. 😢
I just love ronnie man...he is truly a generational talent when it comes to music. I hope someday I can meet him
Would love to hear your take on Opeth! There are many amazing songs, but the live version of Ghost of Perdition at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre is truly amazing and a great introduction to their 30+ year discography!
I’m glad that I’m not the only one who resonates with “I just wanna feel ok”. It’s a simple ask but so hard to attain for some
When Rayactions gets all giggly, charming, happy etc over reacting to something she likes
Please do some Bad omens !! The death of peace of mind, like a villain, or artificial suicide are some good starting points !! Live or the recorded version

I recommend "Hey man Nice shot" by Filter.
This chorus is deafening live, it's insane how loud the crowd gets.
6:20 that's exactly how you say it all in one expression 😅😂😂
Awesome reaction, thank you!
if you want to do more stuff from Falling in Reverse i would recommend the trilogy: Losing my Mind -> Losing my Life -> Drugs
no one needs to ever see a therapist.....just good tunes 🎶🤟🥰
