I love this song. It's "ReVamped" because it's actually a remake of his original "I'm Not A Vampire" song from 2011 in a completely different style. It's usually better to react to the original followed by this version, but I think you'd still have fun to go back and watch the original video. Love your channel! You have such a great personality.
Ronnie uses the metaphor of vampirism to describe his former herion addiction. The parallels are a little unnerving,, tbh. Plus Ronnie can do things with his voice that nobody else can do, period.❤

Ronnie is honestly one of, if not the absolute, best artists we have today. Even with all the shit that follows him, all the controversies and whatnot, his vocal and style range is amazing, especially because he switches so easily within one song. Listen to literally any of his songs since "Losing my Life", they are ALL bangers.
Definitely see the original as well. It's great, but it'll increase your appreciation of this version too. Well, both really.

Another masterpiece from Ronnie dude is killin it! I hope he is a vampire so his music never ends
The whole song is a metaphor for Ronnie's struggles in real life. "So I sharpen my teeth because I like the way it feels, when I sink into your skin and draw the only thing that's real." Definately a metaphor for a certain substance.
And it's also added lyrics that is not present on the 2011 version. It fits perfectly though.

I love this version of the song, This version feels much more organic o the lyrics, my own personal take is between the first version and this, It's an analogy and an apology.
His addiction was consuming and though he tried to stay clean for his now wife (The stunningly beautiful woman featured in the video) and his fellow band members, he relapsed and it caused him a great deal of pain and sorrow, to have dragged them into that darkness with him.
He lost hope of being able to get clean and get away from that darkness, by the end of the video he surrenders to the fact that he failed and wants to make things right by facing that painful truth.
In the video, his wife is reliving those memories of what it was like seeing him go through that consuming addiction (after he surrenders) before she finally decides to join him by stepping into the sun for herself.

Ronnie is amazingly talented. My 4 favourite bands are Sleep Token, Falling in Reverse, Bad Omens and Motionless in White and all the leads are amazing! Seriously hard to go up against all of them! You should check out more of all of them 🖤
Honestly, Ronnie Radke is an incredible artist with his music. He get so much hate for old days, Old mistakes, and Jealousy. However his talent is unrivaled. He plays a range of instruments, Has an INSANE vocal range, and has openly admitted that most of the music is written by himself more so than the band. You should listen to the drugs trilogy it's so good, Especially in one sitting. So many songs of theirs are becoming so huge main one being "Popular Monster" as it also hit the radio in America. I've been a fan of his since his days in his old band "Escape the Fate" and he still has so much more to give us.
Ronnie's skills on the mic are so amazing he is in my top 1 of vocalist of all time...his personal story is profound,I love the fact the he tells it to the world in his own way

It's an amazing metaphor (for my take) of how alcoholism is the affliction vs vampirism, and those who are brought close are risk of being afflicted or otherwise affected by the condition.

Falling in Reverse is a great band.
I recommend you to check out the original version, which is rather funny than theatrical like this one.
Also Watch the world Burn and Zombified are good songs too.
If i may give some suggestions, i highly recommend Seven Spires. The songs Succumb, Cabaret of Dreams or Lightbringer are good starting points, then you can move into the heavier stuff, if you wish, of course :)
Also, Arjen can not be absent, so i still recommend Star One - Fate of Man and Ayreon - The day when the world breaks down.

The song was about his addiction to alcohol and drugs. But not the craving for blood but the craving for drugs and alcohol bringing about a sort of insanity with no self-control🦇⚰✝🖤

i think i can explain how he does it. i think he pushes alot of air out really quikly to get that raspy whisper kinda voice. i can make a sound similar but not even close to his.

Heres what I get out of this song. He's an addict and he's saying addicts are vampires. In the beginning of the song, he's in denial, he's saying he's not a vampire (an addict). Later in the song he's seeing the damage he's done to the people around him so he's admitting he's a vampire (an addict). The woman is a girlfriend (or someone he was close to) who tried to run out on him and came back to find all the destruction in his wake and her trying to commit suicide at the end is her giving up and he brings her back in...sucks her back in to his life and in the end when they're both burning is her leaving him and him trying to kill the addict in him by going to prison, rehab and staying sober.
The remakes of the older songs are so much more mature than the versions when he was younger. They were upbeat and happy with dark lyrics and these versions show the emotion and sadness of the songs so well.
Well, Ronnie used to be a heroin addict for starters. There's a lot of visual symmetry between the sharpened tooth of a vampire drawing blood, and that of a needle aspirating during injection

If you want some crazy vocals, listen to Lorna Shore to the Hellfire one take. You can see him actually doing the vocals. I think he did it because everyone thought he was using a lot of effects. Another channel, the charismatic voice does a whole thing with Will Ramos where they go to throat people to check it out. Pretty neato stuff.

Pllllleeeease checkout Sleep Token-Chokehold or The Love you want. I would recommend The love you want first, simply because it's older and a great introduction to them. Vessel (the singer) is an amazing vocalist a lyricist.

I think it is safe to say you are ready to take on I Prevail as a subject for analysis. This is an onion of a band with many layers. I think if you are up for it you should do 3 songs in order to understand who I Prevail is and where they came from.
1) Blank Space by Taylor Swift cover. The cover of this song went viral and put them on the map.
2) Hurricane by I Prevail. Description of their journey after their Taylor Swift cover brought them so much success.
3) Bow Down by I Prevail. This is them in their purest form. And how far they have come after Hurricane.
Hopefully you are willing and have the time to do this project but I believe it will be worth your time.

Yeah, you not knowing the original didn't help you too much. The song was written when Ronnie was in prison and is about drug addiction. Vampires are effectively addicts so they are a metaphor he used in the song. There are some added lyrics to this over the original to suit the vampire theme of the revamped version. How he does that vocal sound when he says, "lust at the sight of your blood." is done by dropping your voice to the rear of your mouth just before you'd swallow it to your chest voice. People do it ALL the time naturally. Imagine you've had a shit, frustrating day and you just cry out "Arrrrrrrgh." and you should hear your voice make that fry sound.
