The original version is pretty much taking shots at the whole celebrity rehab shows while simultaneously not seemingly not taking his addiction seriously. The revamped version is him really taking his addiction seriously, seeing the damage done to those around him, & eventually giving up control. The storytelling in both videos is fantastic, but the revamped version was so beyond incredible from a cinematic perspective. It's no surprise it won so many awards that year. It takes an incredible talent to reuse your own lyrics in a different way to remake it into something completely different with a vastly different feel to the song.

Ah yes, so the whole story is like the ghosts of her past. I also thought that could be an interpretation of the story so that makes sense to me! 🎉
yes, and the ‘singing’ slash piano-playing slash narrating version of ronnie is his now-ghost that vampire-saraya can’t see as she’s reliving her memories. well, then we reach a point in video where he loses all control and his past and present sort of merge together. (his past self is singing, too.)

Suppose more appropriately, a vampire reliving her past up till the final moments of realizing she can't go on without her lover in the state she's in, harmonizing the same end of said lover by meeting the sun.

The second version is light years from that original. My stars... That video and vocals is worthy of an MTV music video spot. Band is elite and I don't understand why I only seen these artists by way of RUclips.
Ronnie and the Falling In Reverse group are really their own genre. They’ve transitioned a lot throughout the years, and while you said you like the original version of I’m Not A Vampire, I have zero doubts you’ll love their more recents production like “Popular Monster”, “Zombified”, “Voices in My Head”. He’s truly raw in his lyricism and expression. Another great peak into his life is the Trilogy, which is “Loving My Mind” followed by “Losing My Life” and ended with “Drugs”.
Fair warning though, each and all of them are graphic and gruesome in content, but the production value is top tier.
"Last Resort", "Watch The World Burn" (Live version from caliberTV), Then The Trilogy "Loosing My Mind", "Loosing My Life", "Drugs" (in that order), "Popular Monster", "Voices in my Head", lastly I'll list 3 older songs "Rolling Stone" "Coming Home" "Alone" (see if you can notice the reference somewhere).... you can't go wrong with anything from FIR!
I would highly recommend their cover of Last Resort by Papa Roach, it has the most insane chokehold on me. I love your videos!

Yes another double reaction would be nice. However before that, "Watch the World Burn" is the first part of the video, as the reimagined version of his Last Resort video is the sequel.
There is one more reimagined version by them left and its papa roaches last resort AND its the most recent thing they put out! Suggest saving it for a bit and checking out what FiR is ALL about.. If you do "Watch the world burn." you will see just how diverse this band is.

I'm not a vampire is very playful/funny and makes light of a serious situation and addiction. However the (revamped version) shows emotional connected to the seriousness of the subject matter of the lyrics and he is being extremely vulnerable.

Did you know that in the revamped the lady is his real life Girlfriend her name is Saraya she used to be in the WWE and is in AEW now as a pro wrestler. I started following Ronnie way back with his first band Escape the Fate until now then I am a wrestling fan I found out the 2 were dating I was like yes the best of both worlds lol. I like your reactions. No he didnt kill her she just finally saw him for his true self then couldnt take it and killed herself he brought her back and yes a Ghost reliving it all

No she isn't. She is a Vampire reliving things in her past before she became a vampire. Then she decides she can't live without him...she kills her with the sun in the end. Also, Saraya is in the AEW now. I have met them both (Ronnie and Saraya) several times.
He doesn't hurt her, she hurts herself and when he comes back he sees her laying there bleeding out. He does love her but his destructive ways made her leave and when she comes back she sees what he has become and it scars her which is why she hurts her but he brings her back. The whole video is after she woke up from being turned and she pretty much relives everything and she doesn't want to turn into what he was. I also think she wants to be with him because she does also love him.

Actually he did not kill her she took her life afer he run away and then he brought her back by turning her into a vampire to. One may watch it many times to get all of it, you see new stuff every time. Great reaction 👍

These two FIR songs are just so interesting and carry a heavy message! The first version is really too playful for the message it carries, perhaps that’s the reason for the revamped version? You got it absolutely spot on, you’re so good at interpretation of songs, it has to be because you read the lyrics, a lot of other reactors don’t bother which spoils it for them!

Ronnie can do everything at a high level. Singing, screaming, rapping. If you like this style, you could try Last Resort Reimagined.... a new take on Papa Roach's song. Otherwise, the song Watch The World Burn is an incredible mix of rap, rock, metal, etc. with a crazy video. It's probably out of your wheelhouse, but give it a try! It's really fun!

I felt the same feeling when I heard both. The only difference is the first one is covering up my addictions with humor, and the second was just really opening up about it. That's my experience anyway.

I love your take on things. If you’re familiar with Papa Roach’s Last Restort… they let Ronnie do a reimagined version of that. The video is amazing, you feel the lyrics way different. If you aren’t familiar with it, you can always reach to theirs first then do falling in reverse’s like you did this one. And if you’re feeling up to it… Popular Monster is what kinda put them over the top and is actually what got me interested in them. It’s a cool video too.

The true meaning in both the Drug in me is you, and I'm not a vampire, get's pointed out in these new versions. You didn't get it in the first versions, but I hope you do now. It has always been a cry for help, and it isn't until the revamped versions most of you see it. Even though the first versions have been parodic, know you see the fucking agony.
He didn’t kill her , she committed suicide and he saved her and brought her back as a vampire, it could be a reference to stuff Saraya has said in interviews that when she met Ronnie she was going through a dark time and was having suicidal thoughts and that Ronnie helped save her
I actually was thinking about this later, and how she was in the tub… and why. But is it possible he thought he killed her, when he drank her blood? Or was he just in anguish because that was another way in which he was pulling her down? I like that it leaves things open for interpretation! (It’s so cool.)

As diferenças entre as duas versões são indescritíveis. Não que a primeira versão seja ruim. Mas, é muito colorida e adolescente. A segunda versão é absolutamente épica e sombria. A melodia entrou em outro nível. O video clip em si, é magistral, e a interpretação, nem se fala. A primeira versão é como uma lagarta que entrou em estado de crisálida e a segunda versão é o resultado da metamorfose.

the Paige version that burned in the sun is the one that looked back at her past with Ronny, it was not in the same moment as he burning.
