I've seen this video about 50 times and still get chills - lots of great insights in this analysis. Just love Ronnie's creativity, hard work and talent!
Love Falling in reverse, and Ronnie. The revamped is so stunning, the original is just fun.
In the second video - Girl in blue and girl in white are the same.. Saraya Paige - Ronnie's girlfriend. That is his house in the video too! Sean Rooney, an Irish musician helped with arrangements for this and Reimagined (with Beethoven inspiration). Anne Rice vibes throughout!
It's a takeoff of MTV's Celebrity Rehab and the Revamped version was filmed in Ronnie's house. Also that's his fiancee Saraya(Paige from WWE)
I for one, am very pleased that you spent a day with the original before watching the Revamp.
You are a joy to watch.
If you watch some 80's hair band videos you will understand his style more. He was bringing back the old Motley Crue/GnR/Van Halen/etc. Video style. It was just for fun. Many of the parts are parody of older videos.
I love all of his reimagined and the revamped song. I am eagerly awaiting whatever he comes out with next.

He reimagined Papa roaches song last resort and it will have you crying. The original is iconic and i always knew it was deep, but didn't really process how deep, and heartbreaking the song was until Ronnie re did it. I showed it to my daughter who had hated every cover song she ever heard, but this was she said not only did he hit it out of the park but she thinks it's better than they original. I love both versions but Ronnies version hit me different and had me sobbing with goosebumps wanting to give both bands a big hug and reassurance. You should definitely check it out

Ok, so vampires are known to be able to put you in a trance to control you. The girl in the blue is her under his trance. She's looking at the memories. She realized he was a vampire left but loves him so she returns. She can't cope and takes her life, he loves her and can't lose her so he brings her back. Then he sacrifices himself letting the towns people take him so she will be safe. She can't live without him so she stands in the sun to go with him.
Perfect articulation of the performance/movie.
Alternatively, you could look at it like this....he's a social vampire sucking the life out of the people he interacts with. His girl loves him and doesn't believe what ppl say until she finally sees it for herself, upon which she takes her own life(becomes depressed due to the dynamics of the perverbial rock and a hard place she finds herself in) Ronnie, seeing her dying, makes her just like him (social vampire) and in his guilt over the realization that he turned the one person that cared into a monster like him resolves himself to end his life, and in pure Romeo + Juliette fashion she can't stand to live without him and takes her life as well.

Bruh, I'm new to reaction channels. Always thought it was kinda a dumb idea, tbh... But then I think back to all those times I got excited about something I had heard or seen and tried to show it to people around me, only for them to be like "oh yeah, that's dope." just to appease me. But I started seeing reactors on youtube that actually felt the way I did about things, and were first-timing some epic content, and through them, I was able to relive my first times seeing or hearing certain things, and it's been an amazing journey. And there are several reactors I enjoy based on their own perspectives. Not trying to plug other creators on your channel, so I'll use initials. When it comes to lyrical and compositional breakdowns, KH hears at least as much as I do, rarely ever missing, and sometimes noticing more than I did. As far as the FEEL of the music, I'm a huge fan of SK, TGOS and recently discovered BP as another kindred spirit. Saw you on BP's channel, reacting to 'Watch the World Burn' and immediately hopped over to your channel, hitting subscribe before i watched a single video cuz you're on it! These songs and videos that mean so much to me, it's amazing to see them hit other people the same way they hit me, and I'm looking forward to more content.
The revamped version isn't in a order on purpose
The lady couldn't handle that he killed People and she killed herself,he brought her back as a vampire and finally when the villagers caught him she decided that couldn't left behind eternally without him and she followed him becoming ash as well.

Very brief synopsis of revamped. Lady in white is walking through the house seeing memories of things from the past, hence you see her twice in some shots. Eventually, she realises she cannot live without her mate so sacrifices herself to the sun.

The added part with Saraya committing suicide can be attributed to an interview that she did where she said that when she met Ronnie she was going through a dark time and had suicidal thoughts and he saved her

I do have a personal request. For good film work, i would love to see you react to Astartes Project by Syama Pedersen. It was mostly made by one fan of the 40k universe, and these 5 short films(all just segments of one story) lead to him being hired by the parent company for that content. For production value i have yet to see i single non live action meet this level. A must watch "imo". Cheers🍻

Honest story:
My sister use to listen to them, and I came back from college... I was blowing tool, APC, and classic rock at the time., that was I believe 12 years ago, I was like there emo and have her lists of crap ( think I was just being an asshole because it was my younger sister) Heard them 2 years ago. Hooked.
I believe you hear things when your meant to hear. When you need to hear them.
When I found FIR with Popular Monster I was immediately hooked and came home and watched the video then spent hours reading about Ronnie and working my way back through the music. When my oldest daughter came home that night I said, "Look, look! You HAVE to hear this band! They're unbelievable!"
She sighed and said, "Yeah, I tried to tell you about them years ago and you brushed me off." Spent the rest of the night giving me the *I told you so* smirk.
In my defense, when she'd tried to tell me about them I wasn't at a point in my life where I had the luxury of listening to music that wasn't from Yo Gabba Gabba or Frozen. Besides, she'd been like, 12, and what do 12 year olds know about music? 😂

Do you think the lighting in the original could of been to represent how harsh sunlight would be for vampires? Also, the lens flares or “twilight twinkles” only were used with the whole band, like they were vampires.
Bruh, anyone that was into Metal, Skating, BMX, extreme sports dressed like this in 2007-2012 it was the style. I rocked this style for many years in high school.

I heard revamped first. Then went back and heard the original. The only thing I like about the original is the guitar solo. I definitely appreciate how Ronnie's voice has matured over the years.
Just adding because I don't see it explained enough. The girl in white is remembering all this stuff so she's reliving things that already happened, that's why she's watching herself. So when she dies at the end it isn't at the same time that Ronnie dies, that happened in the past, she just decided to end it after everything that happened.

It's probably so weird for me to say this but be careful driving fast.
I loved the reaction.
This revamped version has such an amazing story to it and so many things within it that if you love being analytical makes it even better. Shes kinda like a ghost going through her old memories but if you notice. She wearing the same white dress thing that she is when she died and turned. In one of the memories she cuts a string which seems a lot bigger than it should be if it had no meaning but it has a meaning in some places of when a thread is cut a life is cut too which happened later before she turned. And then ronnie let himsekf get took so she wouldnt be found but she let herself die again and my guess is kind of an obvious one and its that she didnt want to live as a vampire without ronnie. Theres probably more im missing but its one of the best music videos ive ever seen

The women in the revamped version is Ronnie's girlfriend (also Willow's mother Ronnie is her father), her name is Saraya also known as Paige from WWE. They were going to get married but they broke it off after Willow was born I have no idea why that's just what I read
Respectfully, Willow's mother is Ronnie's ex-girlfriend, Crissy Henderson. :) Saraya and Ronnie have only been together since 2018.

Very few people spot it's pretty much the same main cast in both videos (Paige being the notable exception).

What you say is fair about the cinematography. It was just more the style back then so looking back it's easy to see and I bet Ronnie and the crew would agree with you in hindsight knowing what we know now. So yeah, fair point. That's just how it goes. It isn't like you were saying it's any sort of knock on them. Times change.

I think it's worthwhile to remember that Ronnie wrote a lot of his songs in prison. That's also where he began putting together Falling In Reverse and how he managed to hit the ground running when he got out of prison. I guess it took time for him to get his vision done the way he wanted, probably couldn't afford it when he got out of prison.
I think he's a savant, he is self-taught on piano at 10 y.o. His mom was a drug addict that wasn't there for years at a time. His dad was also a drug addicted biker, but did most of the parenting and has since become a born again Christian.
So I don't think Ronnie had piano/guitar/drumming lessons when they were so poor. Genius or Savant? (Edited for errors)
