This is probably my favorite remaster Ronnie has done. When they dropped this it really showcased his genuine vocal ability. Its such a phenomenal track and the video is WILD
This is about Ronnie's heroin addiction. Its a little eerie how he parallels addiction with vampirism. The timeline is as follows:
The beginning where she wakes up is present. This is later, after the mob came and got him, then took him away. She figured out he was a vampire and killed herself. He found her before she died and turned her. The scenes where she was walking thru the house was her remembering their life together. She decided that she didnt want to be without him, so she walked out into the morning sun, the same morning sun that was killing Ronnie killed her. This was Ronnies commentary on how addiction affects others around you negatively.
This is why we want Ronnie to write a rock opera!!! IMAGINE🖤
You have become one of my favorite FIR reactors, and I've seen thousands of reaction videos over the years. I agree with reacting to the Drug in me is You and the reimagined version. Derek Jones was one of the founding members of FIR, his fiancé died of cancer, he died from a subdural, hematoma after falling and hitting his head a few months after she passed

Also on the Derek Jones note… so his wife passed away from cancer I believe and then Derek passed away shortly after and in things I’ve seen and read Ronnie always said they had an awesome love story and this was kind of what he was portraying in the video that they couldn’t live without one other and he always admired that coming for his family history.

The girl in the video is Saraya (Paige from the WWE) who is Ronnie’s fiancé and the added verse and the scene during it could be attributed to interviews that Saraya has given that when she met Ronnie she was going through a dark time and had suicidal feelings and that Ronnie saved her

I love this song, it is so good and the video so cinematic. The woman in the video is Saraya Jade Bevis, she is Ronnies partner/wife, and she used to be known as Paige in the WWE. Derek Jones was the former bass guitarist of the group who passed away shortly after his wife died of cancer.
His vocal range is CRAZY! It gives me chills 😭!

When Ronnie does something “reimagined” expect the unexpected. Bc you’ll never know what you’ll get. And that goes to show how fucking good he is.
It’s crazy how some of these lyrics written as rock songs fit unbelievably well with this type of music.
Such a good song and a good reaction. And yes, that is Saraya she and Ronnie have been dating since 2018. There are 2 versions of her because one is the current her, reliving her memories in the house, of loving ronnie, realizing he's a vamp, dying, becoming a vampire, and him dying. At the end of the reminiscing, she knows she can't live any longer without him and walks out into the rising sun.

@pauzeandrewind yep there are tons of video of them being on eachothers twitch streams and TT and insta's. They are super freaking cute together. Her walk out music in AEW is also Zombified partially because its a banger but also because its his song.
Straight to Hell is an oldie but goodie to check out too. Also I really love Guillotine IV it’s rarely requested but good example of his more metal style oh and can’t forget about rolling stone!

What I truly love about Ronnie is his ability to take a song we've listened to x amount of times, and delivering it in a way that you can't help but hear it impact. You can listen to something without truly ever hearing it and Ronnie is a master of switching the delivery and portraying the message. Now its time for "The drug in me is you" and the remained version!
Ronnie is an actor that can sing ( hell, yeah )
I am with ya the delivery and the music in the back can totally 180 the impact just on that simple change. a song that comes to mind for me is falling away by the off spring it's a high energy song that gets you bopping your head but five finger death punch did a cover of it and the way they brought it just slams you in the feels but it's the exact same lyrics with a different sound thus giving it more impact. ronnie is like that and can change a song you know so well and know it's meaning only to hear it more deeply with a different sound. as for the ending with the "new lyrics" yes they are new something I feel was added to add more feeling to this. this song is like thriller by Michael Jackson it has so much meaning and is amazing but when you see the video it is even more amazing. speaking of which if you EVER get the chance to see them live again have some one with you to record you going wild at the show and post it I'd love to see that. I know the title says "rapper reaction" but lets be honest rap and rock are the same genre's just a different tempo that's why they are so in sync with each other
