I really hope Kontos not being in the band full time is simply because he can't do it. The man is a perfect fit for MH. THIS is the best version of MH to me. Rose tinted glasses? Maybe, but this reunion seems to prove it to me. There's a certain magic to BME.
I miss the old days. Thanks guys for some of the best music ever written. Machine Head was and still is my main inspiration for playing guitar. I'm still torn between having Logan and Chris back and missing Dave and Phil. Most of my life since high school in the early 90s til now was spent listening to you all. Having Dave and Phil gone was like reliving my divorce all over again. But I'm glad to see the OG crew back. And Jared, you had very large boots to fill after Adam left. I miss Adam too. He was one of the most entertaining bassists I've ever had the pleasure of seeing live. But Machine Head couldn't have picked a more perfect person for the job. Great job fellas!
Kontos is now one of my favorite drummers of all time, and boy has he earned that spot. You'd never have guessed he'd done very little drumming since BME, he sounds incredibly tight.
Xevon you should get the album Konkhra- weed out the weak some of Chris best drumming a death metal band he played with james Murphy on tht one album an the music was amazing
I was at the tour opener in Phoenix on Jan 16th. Was my 7th time seeing you guys, I believe, and you guys are still incredible and inspiring. Been a fan since 95 and thought last show in Tucson was the last time out for you. I was the "Rob" in my last band. Unfortunately, even with the right people, lives change. I keep on writing, playing, recording, and learning every one else's parts till I find the right ones to come along for the journey. You have constantly inspired me and shown that it's never over till we're in the ground. Even then , I hope to inspire someone b4 In gone. MFH!!! Thx guys
Burn My Eyes is still one of my all time favourite albums in any genre and I frequently go back to it. I'm happy to find these studio recordings. It's amazing how close they still sound to the original! The rage to overcome has always been my favourite track of the album but there's one MH song that I love more and that's My misery, which was released on the Demon Knight soundtrack and unfortunately is not on Spotify.

Drinking a flagging of 3 liter cider with my buddy’s an all u had to worry about was getting stomped in the pit.. No bills/no tax returns 😂now I’m old as fuck, but I be bringing my 11 yr old to see them in there soldout reunion show in Ireland I’ll just throw him in the pit!!!

Dave & Phil were in the band for a long time, Chris & Logan only had a couple years each. I’d stick with having Chris & Logan back for now.
