Thank you Jake. Any videos from you are appreciated. If you have time to film and you enjoy sharing, we will watch. If it interferes with your work load and your time, no need brother. Have a great week.
Quick and easy is good for me. There's nothing better than a solid foundation of basic principles leading to success with minimal use of programming tools.
Shocked 😲 that a garage would order new control module before checking powers and grounds. Video excellent as always, its your method we're interested in not just the outcome, love your channel 👍
I like all of your videos. Even the simple stuff is a learning experience for someone. Keep doing them. It's just amazing that parts were thrown at this thing without what should be basic power and ground checks.
Short quick diagnosis are encouraging, that every problem isn’t a big challenge! Keep them coming. But please don’t stop the lengthy ones either. Thanks
Hi. I'm from the UK and I recently discovered your channel. I enjoy all the videos. Videos like this one are a good reminder to check the simple things first before ripping the car apart. Your presentation style makes the boring stuff interesting 👍
Good job , I wouldn't fancy doing emergency stop using a milk crate , all your videos are worth watching , I learn alot from you , specifically scope stuff , thanks Jake
This and others like them are real world experiences just like the complex work you perform. I enjoy all the content you post because it is real, easy or not. Thank you for your effort and willingness to share..
Also thank you for sharing your test light method for finding a hard short. Found one on a blue bird bus just before lunch in. 15 minutes. Test light for the win!
Aloha Jake, I enjoy all your vids. I follow along and try to anticipate your next move to diagnosis. By doing this, I feel I'm improving my diagnosis skills. Keep them coming:)
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO ,,, THE EASY ONES ARE GOOD TO SHOW THE BASICS ON WHAT SHOULD BE CHECKED FIRST . TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH , EVERYONE CAN BENEFIT FROM REFRESHER CASE STUDY'S AND QUITE FRANKLY I LOVE THEM . BECAUSE YOU CAN'T STOP LEARNING ,,PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING THIS IS WHAT'S NEEDED IN THE INDUSTRY BACK TO THE BASICS THANKS FOR YOUR TIME !!!!!!!!!!👍👍👍
Jake, always like to see what your up to. I have to admit I've never taken a car for a spin while sitting on a milk crate. Maybe I should rip the inside out of my truck and give that a try..........maybe not! Anyway, always a pleasure. Thanks for Sharing!
Always good to watch, regardless of the outcome...even if it's a simple fuse. Still shows your diag process and thinking. Besides.. we also learned "Plug It Up First" is Alabamian for "Stick it in There.!" 🤣🤣 Keep on doing your thing Jake.. Love seeing the videos bro. Cheers Oh Ya... done that milk crate seat before...a few times actually. Lol 😅👍
short, medium or long, it doesn't matter as long as your able to keep up with all the viewers. 😂in the end, its all knowledge and my brain is like a dry sponge!! Thanks
Film everything Jake. Your a very advanced diagnostiction. What's boring to you might help someone else. Eric O has a video with 2.9 million views showing a hole in a flat tire. Never know what people are going to watch.
Sometimes you have to just do the basics... I mean the other workshop I am sure they were shooting in the dark when they replaced the module... It was an easy fix for you because u were following the right approach which going by the basics and using wiring diagrams... And yeah any video from your end no matter what it is, it is always appreciated man.. Short or long.. Boring or interesting... It is amusing to us for sure
ITS REALLY ABOUT YOU BRO TO MANY PEOPLE IN A WIERD KIND OF WAY YOU ARE A GOOD FRIEND YOU DONT EVEN KNOW. YOUR DOING WHAT JESUS INTENDED ALL OF US TO BE. GOD BLESS YOU & ALL.
I want you not to stop publishing some faults that are caused by simple or trivial things, because they keep reminding us who work in diagnosing faults that the solution may be very simple and it does not have to be something difficult, keep going bro 👍
Brother you are a freaking life saver. I’ve got a 2012 wrangler that has “had” the same problem that I’ve been fighting since I bought it 4 months ago. Went and checked and my fuse was gone too. Does anyone know why people pull that fuse. I’m so glad I found this video.
Hi and yes Please, I like the short ones as well as the longer ones! I have driven on milk creates and 20lt drums! Irvin's saying is No Parts required and yours can be one Fuse required!! 😊😊
See the little things like a burned or missing fuse is what helps car owners when they get an issue to first check all the fuses. Your short boring ( not boring ) video is most likely going to help someone one day. Interesting is that no one prior check power or grounds and just swapped the sensor out. 👍
Great channel, my current favourite. I am very interested in the way you use a test light in parallel with the multimeter. Can you do a video about this method of testing sometime. Thanks Rob
I like all the vids the day to day the complex, i am diag crazy though. would like to hear why you prefer snap on over other scan tools ,I like the info that's available when ya got no cell service. 👍👍
These videos are interesting no matter how simple you think they are. For one thing it demonstrates simple troubleshooting skills. Keep it up. Anyhow, what is the fine for driving with no seatbelt while sitting on a milk crate? With your charming demeanor I'm sure he would cut you a break.
Well I have a crazy one for you and an interesting one I'm a performance tuner and engine builder but out side my wheel house I'm looking for someone near Austin TX like your self that travels .
Absolutely my friend, any electrical diag, big or small, is worth there weight in gold not only that I pay attention to how you use test lights, leads and the like so keep up the good work.
As someone that specializes in electrical diagnostics, would it be better for me to charge by the job or by the hour? I think Scanner Danner posted something about that today.
Almost ridiculous - parts cannon fired over a missing fuse? You can continue recording more of these simple / silly cases - they have a value of their own :-)
Do you need to do an alignment first if you’ve done a lift kit and the steering wheel is out of adjustment or can you do this first then do an alignment ?
If the problem involves more than one of the four S's, Scanner, Scope, Schematic, Service Data, then please show the job if it is a real problem with a real fix, cheers.
Yeah You're going to have to stretch out the dry spell with "easy" videos. I prefer the challenging ones. However sometimes you have to go to the "BASICS "
Thank you Jake. Any videos from you are appreciated. If you have time to film and you enjoy sharing, we will watch. If it interferes with your work load and your time, no need brother. Have a great week.

Keep posting regardless of the outcome. The thing that is most helpful is following your logic as you troubleshoot. Excellent work!
I like both type of videos it keeps it more realistic, Thanks!
any video from you is great. there is always something to learn no matter how easy or hard the diag is.
I like all of your videos. Even the simple stuff is a learning experience for someone. Keep doing them. It's just amazing that parts were thrown at this thing without what should be basic power and ground checks.
These jobs are also daily jobs, so please keep posting. Your videos teach us all, even across the ocean. Greetings from the Netherlands
Short quick diagnosis are encouraging, that every problem isn’t a big challenge! Keep them coming. But please don’t stop the lengthy ones either. Thanks
Bro no matter how long your videos are... they're awesome! I prefer longer videos.

Short and easy is great! Keep the content coming, be it simple or involved, it's all appreciated.
Also thank you for sharing your test light method for finding a hard short.
Found one on a blue bird bus just before lunch in. 15 minutes. Test light for the win!
Great job bro. Nothing wrong with quick and easy repairs. They pay the bills!
Thanks Jake all your videos are great, long or short. I look forward to every one. You are catching up to Ivan from PHAD. Great diags.
There is something to be learned from this video even if it was simple. Ha Ha, loved the test drive! Look forward to more Videos! Thanks!
Aloha Jake, I enjoy all your vids. I follow along and try to anticipate your next move to diagnosis. By doing this, I feel I'm improving my diagnosis skills. Keep them coming:)
Thanks for the video, Jake... I'm relatively new to your channel, but I enjoy both the "easy" and "hard" fixes!

Not at all boring,I like to watch how you go about your diagnostic strategies
Thanks for taking the time to post your videos! Keep them all coming! Even the short easy ones.

Jake thanks as always! If time permits you to make videos of course make them especially the electrical ones :)

Just keep filming..short or long videos are greatly appreciated!!!!
Jake they are good. The thing you need to remember it is good for your channel and the algorithms so that people can find your channel.
i like to watch the thought process play out,if i pick up one tip the time is worth it to watch.
This is why guys like you and Ivan get people coming from all over. Other shops throw parts at something without checking the basics. It’s insane
ITS REALLY ABOUT YOU BRO TO MANY PEOPLE IN A WIERD KIND OF WAY YOU ARE A GOOD FRIEND YOU DONT EVEN KNOW. YOUR DOING WHAT JESUS INTENDED ALL OF US TO BE. GOD BLESS YOU & ALL.
Love these diags Jake!

Nice, where are you located ?

Thats my motto....Easy is good. Keep em comming my friend.

Great video! Keep them coming.
I don't mind the easy one's now and then.. It still hammers the process home.
Personally I prefer the 5 gallon bucket to a milk crate. 👍🏼
Keep filming what you fix it’s all good stuff.
You need to add a 20% surcharge to your bill for seatless vehicles, Jake. 👍🏼
I like all the vids the day to day the complex, i am diag crazy though. would like to hear why you prefer snap on over other scan tools ,I like the info that's available when ya got no cell service. 👍👍
Enjoy all your videos, even the short “easy “ ones lol

I love those missing fuse diags. And of course nephews cousins next door neighbors step sister said all the fuses were good 😂
all your videos are great
I have Jake. Not comfortable. Thanks for sharing 👍
Great diagnosis . Does that come with the HEATED Seat ( milk crate ) option ? LOL !
I like ANY and ALL vehicle troubleshooting videos.. Whats the weirdest one you have ever had?
I am good with these videos! Thanks!
It’s all interesting even the easy jobs ty!
Thank you for your time sir
Of course I like thanks your for sharing 👍
Keep them coming 👍
Nice quick and easy diagnosis. Seems like you need to teach someone about basic troubleshooting techniques.
yes we like the ez stuff too..
Thanks for sharing this ❤
👍👍👍👍 I like these videos
I like them all!
Keep them coming jake.reminds us to check the basics.thanks man
Do not mind them at all. But I'm a shade tree. The people in the field may not find them as interesting as I do. I say keep them coming.
I like short easy videos I still learn something
Well I have a crazy one for you and an interesting one I'm a performance tuner and engine builder but out side my wheel house I'm looking for someone near Austin TX like your self that travels .
I’m not sure I know anyone around Austin. Send me an email with your shop information and I’ll see if someone I knew is in that area.
@@autodiagyt ok I got your email thank you
I like them all ty!!!
Absolutely my friend, any electrical diag, big or small, is worth there weight in gold not only that I pay attention to how you use test lights, leads and the like so keep up the good work.
Jake where are you located
Its never boring!!!😂
yes like them a lot

@@autodiagyt Thanks
Almost ridiculous - parts cannon fired over a missing fuse? You can continue recording more of these simple / silly cases - they have a value of their own :-)
easy are good one to .tks
easy is just as good as the tough ones. dont you wish you had a 4 wheel dyno so you didnt have to road test some of those beaters?
I had to swap out the rack and pinion. But my steering wheel isn’t turning. And the EPS light is flashing. Would could possibly be the issue ????
Not sure without a code scan.
What is that with mechanics, they can't check the basics anymore, and just fire the partsgun?
Do you need to do an alignment first if you’ve done a lift kit and the steering wheel is out of adjustment or can you do this first then do an alignment ?
Yes mechanical steering needs to be correct first.
Nice!
2016 jeep Wrangler having these out of range issues. Thoughts?
Not without doing some testing or setting some data
thank you
Im embarrassed for the shop that called two steering column control modules without testing power and grounds...
Its easy to you but super hard problem for the shop has no real mechanics around...
Grasias

Yeah
You're going to have to stretch out the dry spell with "easy" videos. I prefer the challenging ones. However sometimes you have to go to the "BASICS "
I’d watch if you were cleaning battery posts. It’s real world stuff
Ram 2500 Cummins are a prime example
I hope u had ur seatbelt on 😂😂😂😂😂😂
