but tiger uses a regular length driver. 191 ball speed with a standard driver is unfrigginbelievable (halo voice)

The slow-mo at 10:30 is sick...the tee practically follows the ball the whole time. xD

interesting that there seem to be diminishing returns to being big and powerful in this stuff. Very few if any guys over 200-210 lbs hit twice their weight. Yet the little guys consistently hit 2x their weight and more. Weight and size seem to guarantee a certain distance but then seem to begin pound for pound to actually slow the body down. Otherwise why at 285 lbs is someone not swinging at 175mph? Why do guys weighing 240-250 not consistently swing at 165mph? One of the greatest feats in longdrive so far was Landon Colling at 5'6 1/2" 150 hitting 115 lbs over 2x his weight to 415 in competition.

johnnyboy89able The biggest issue with people who weight more is that they aren't normally aren't adding only muscle. That normally translates to loss of flexibility. The next two times you go to the driving range try this. 1st time) do not stretch. Hit 10 balls cold and look at their distance. 2nd time) stretch for 20 minutes. Especially hips, hamstrings and back. Hit 10 balls no more than 5-10 minutes after the stretch. You will absolutely add 10-20 yds to your average.
It is the same concept. Many little guys are in better shape and are more flexible which makes generating clubhead speed easier. Now if a 280 lbs man is very flexible he will demolish the little guy. There just aren't many big men that flexible.
