My favorite headset i've been using for years has been the Astro A40s. I started off with turtle beaches back in like 2010 and went through 2 of the x11 headsets within a year and was done with those for good then went and bought my first pair of Astro A40s in 2011 which I used up until about 2018 when I decided to buy the newer gen TR (keep in mind those original ones were still working after all those years) I'm currently still using that same Astro A40 TR headset from 2018 and about to upgrade to the current generation A40TR as one of the cables has started to go bad on these current ones. I could replace the faulty cable for $10 but I think it's time for a new pair. Anyways, for anyone looking for a reliable headset with VERY good sound quality I HIGHLY recommend the A40s W/ Mixamp. Also just to add in both of those Astro headsets were bought refurbished off ebay so they weren't even new and lasted me that long lol.

Couldn't agree more with the A40s, they last ages while not having issues whatsoever for years. Not to mention you legit have a mix amp, can connect to Xbox and PC, and have really good audio. In my opinion for headsets, you can't go wrong with A40s. Pretty sure they going down in price too.
Same story here hahaha crazy. Used 2 turtle beaches and they both broke within 10 months. Got my money back both times and decided to upgrade to the astro a40tr. They have lasted me since like 2016. I think I got gen 3 I guess

As much as I loved my astro A50s, I've gone through 4 and they all have the same issue. They struggle to charge on the base station after a few months. You'll go to use them, and after a few, they randomly turn off without indication of low battery or you'll find they didn't charge at all.

The best option under $ 100 for sure is Karmafier Immersum Headset. It has really really good audio. Amazing bass (I'm a bass head) and really clear highs. And I really appreciate the lack of muddy mids. I had more expensive ones before that were not as good.
I have the BlackShark V2 X and they soOO comfortable and nice clear-sounding. Actually if I would thinking which Razer headphones to recommend, it would be these V2 X or the V2 Pro ones.
I bought a hyper X wireless headset back in 2019 and I still use them. And I've gotta say - best headset I've ever had. I've only experienced 1 issue so far and that is that the leather is just now starting to peel off after daily use for about 4 years. 100% Would recommend. The battery life is amazing, the distance you could walk away from your computer without getting a interruption is quite amazing as well. I remember walking down the stairs and getting a snack from my kitchen and still being able to hear and talk to my buddies on the game. The audio is pretty solid as well, nothing to boast about but its definitively high end. If you got about $100 laying around, get a hyper X headset, you wont regret it.
I also have a hyper X headset. But I have indeed the same problem, the leather is coming off. Plus the adjustable metal headband is not staying in place anymore. Do the newer models still have this problem? Or do you have any other recommendations? It may be pricey. I like headphones which can fit my large ears, which the hyperx succeeded with.

astro a50s are sleek looking and i love having a dock but the band is uncomfortable, as a girl my hair gets caught in side adjusters often. Not only that but gen 4s tend to give out right after warranty. And the command center is trash.
Oh wao those were the ones that convinced me the most from the video. Choosing a headset is so hard everybody has something bad to say about every headphone 😂
I bought the Logitech G 2X Lightspeed and i can tell you that everything that he says about it is 100% false. The sound is horrible. The mic quality is bad. Never buy this lol.
I just got the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, but I'm going to return it. It's simply too heavy for me and it's very uncomfortable on my head. A shame because the rest of the headset is amazing. almost everyone of these are trashy headsets, you are just paying for the name and pointless features, rather than the audio quality.... which is what i want in a gaming headset. I actually want to hear those hard to hear sounds. Not have RGB, with a built in mic and an adjustable strap....
Me who has personally used a lot of headphones the a50’s are ass for what your paying for. The software is bad they randomly just don’t work and I’ve been running into a lot of problems recently
Razer has nice headsets, but they need to work a little bit more on them. The plastic feels a bit cheap. Now I'm looking for my third headset in three years, as my two previous gaming Razer headsets had broken plastic. So this time, Razer won't be my choice for sure.
I have one and I agree completely and I keep seeing reviews putting it on a pedestal and at the same time people who bought it (like me) say otherwise. The only thing it has going that I like is the design.
im in the same exact boat. have had these for about 5 years and the left ear is starting to rattle as well. one of the best headsets ive ever had but ready to try something different.
The heaset no in the video. Now I am looking to return the Razer Kraken V3 and choose other Headset
Intresting how headphones are the only things that i feel like are truly worth going wireless for. Wireless mice are still decent, but the wire isn't anoiyng enough to justify it, especially if you do your cable management right.
Ya and no, I used to think it wasn't that annoying to have a wire but I recently switched to a g pro superlight wireless and I can't go back and after looking back at some of my old VODs I noticed multiple times where I lost a round in CSGO or Valorant because of the cable getting in the way. For perspective my mouse pad is 2 ft across and I run very low sensitivity, normally 2 entire mouse pad swipes to do 1 360. Yes my case is extreme but there is a noticeable difference depending on how you play and what you are playing.

@LuckyS7 do you think wireless headphones are worth it for pc? If not which wired do you recommend. Budget not an issue but nothing more than $350 pls 😂😂
@@itscoolthough419 Purely a preference. Do you want to move around with the headset still on or do you just want to take it off when you go afk. Wireless does not lose any quality just because of the extra quality of life. It will cost a little extra though.
Dont buy these for ps5! Arctis nova pro wireless the winner? Not for ps5 it doesn't! Sony limit volume and quality on all none sony headsets. Because of that, the only ones that will work fully are sony or maxwell (sony owned) headsets. Rest are a waste of money as they will be less decent. Disgusting by Sony but true.
They have a newer version from this year with the same name. Added is a better sounding mic software, usb-c charging, on board EQ settings and Bluetooth added.
man this kind of left me confused i have around 300 dollar budget and im looking for these 3 things in a headset 1. super good immersion 2. if its wired i would rather if it uses a headphone jack rather than a USB 3. comfort the number 1 in this video sounds like a jack of all trades its really good at everything but not amazing the number 2 is super expensive not sure if the wired has the same quality and iirc the nova pro wired needs a USB the logitech g pro x uses a USB too for the wireless thing asus rog might be the one that i pick but im not sure...

Trust me spend your money on a better quality headset. I wrote this while sitting here with my SECOND pair of A50's on my head, and guess why I'm watching this video....fool me once
The hyper-x cloud alpha cable SUCKS... and you cannot buy a replacement. It is prone to loose connections on the volume controler, which means you will spend a lot of time turning the volume dial ever so slightly for sound to go through both ears
The razor barracuda for its price is not as durable as its given credit for. i had mine for about 6 months before the ear piece broke clean off. the head band is strong but the plastic holding the ear pieces together are quite the joke. I've been using Sennheiser 363D forever.. can anyone compare it to any of these sets?
The blackshark v2 pro is literally the best option in this video
That’s what I’ve been using and honestly the most comfortable headset I’ve ever had
@@ogdudu6872 yeah I just bought the Arctis Nova 1 and it’s honestly really good. I purchased the DTSx and it sounds like heaven.
It's very pricey though 😢
logitech g pro X has to be one of the worst headsets i’ve ever owned the sound quality was absolutely terrible for the price
Oh wao those were the ones that convinced me the most from the video.
Choosing a headset is so hard everybody has something bad to say about every headphone 😂
If someone puts the Razer on top it makes me think of the rest from the list...
But I'm adjusting my headset every 10mins or so because it becomes uncomfortable and doesnt fit right. Great headset in all other aspects though.
Did you tried the Arcris 7P ? I think you will like it
@@SulimanAlswina after getting used to it, i decided to keep it. It’s not that bad.. i just had a vert light headset before this so I think that’s why I found it so heavy and uncomfortable. Now it fits pretty good
I am looking for an good gaming Headset for my ps5. Can someone recommend me a headset with nice sound and also a good mic quality?
Huh honestly I really think game headset best ever I really think it's really awesome ever I really think it's really cool ever I really think it's really amazing ever nice
well amazing really cool i think its the best headset best ever yeah ever
The cool awesome gaming headset ever of the cool and epic awesome headset for gamers
@@trashstarr yeah definitely it is extremely cool ever headsets bro
@@skare1462 yeah definitely agree bro it's really awesome ever bro
forever ever definitely feels better better after headset on head go play hey hey best headset ever on the cool epic sound blast.
Id say SteelSeries is the top dog here. Turtle Beach is good for entry level console players. Corsair products are great, I use the Void Pro RGB Wireless at the moment.
Is there a good headset for ps5 that i can legit here footsteps on warzone with good quality sound?
@@Reebokzurigo honestly with audio products you get what you pay for, Id think for WZ a good turtle beach would be good. if you can find a corsair set that is PS5 compatible id do that as well.
@@thornysnotsoepic ok perfect thank you
@@Reebokzurigoastros are the best for call of duty
i had 2 of the turtle beach headsets, both lasted less than a year, One randomly stopped working one day for no reason, the other lasted longer but the headset cracked and eventually broke just from using it normally. It is a really nice headset if it didn't have those issues. I don't recommend it
almost everyone of these are trashy headsets, you are just paying for the name and pointless features, rather than the audio quality.... which is what i want in a gaming headset. I actually want to hear those hard to hear sounds. Not have RGB, with a built in mic and an adjustable strap....
Me who has personally used a lot of headphones the a50’s are ass for what your paying for. The software is bad they randomly just don’t work and I’ve been running into a lot of problems recently
got Blackshark v2 without wirless but is so shit i get errors on win 10 of sounds cuz headphones
Razer has nice headsets, but they need to work a little bit more on them. The plastic feels a bit cheap. Now I'm looking for my third headset in three years, as my two previous gaming Razer headsets had broken plastic. So this time, Razer won't be my choice for sure.
Steel series have some good models. The nova 7s wireless are one of the best around that price
they sound work on the sound too
ive had the same problem with my razer headsets
The plastic on the steel series headsets is super cheap. Legit trash headset.
blackshark v2 pro sounds like trash i tested one also the mic is trash
I have one and I agree completely and I keep seeing reviews putting it on a pedestal and at the same time people who bought it (like me) say otherwise. The only thing it has going that I like is the design.

Positives, positives, positives... "*On the other hand*" more positives??
I been using the hyper X but the leather come off
So I got to get a new one
im in the same exact boat. have had these for about 5 years and the left ear is starting to rattle as well. one of the best headsets ive ever had but ready to try something different.
What about EKSA E5000 pro 🥺🥺
The heaset no in the video.
My personal opinion
I personal use Cooler Master MH752 , using 2 year and now being replace with Razer Kraken V3 .... it compare sound quality, the Cooler Master MH752 is better than Razer Kraken V3 , the Razer Kraken V3 sound quality is bad...
Now I am looking to return the Razer Kraken V3 and choose other Headset
mh752 is good
Logitech band broke after 6 months so that was a huge bust for cheap material
#4 is 150$ since i last checked
@@KwBradley but gpsx is very shitty. there are mouses with same sensor for a better price and without scroll issues.
@@micahsarm like?
i need a new mouse would like some suggestions!
@@BreakKaydenBreak darmoshark m3. vgn dragonfly f1 pro. Attackshark X3. Deathadder v3.
@@BreakKaydenBreaklogitech g pro wireless is hands down the best mouse ive ever bought dont let anyone tell you otherwise... competetive gaming or not , it does it all great
Do black shark V2 pro is f****** garbage. I know joke and returned it. The build quality a 2 out of 5 and feels like it's cheap garbage. The sound quality is trash. Comfortability 2 out of 5. I'd continue using my rig 800 switch are the most comfortable and have amazing sound. But they have a common issue with the volume controler going bad. That's why I was here.
The problem with all Corsair Headset is the foam of the Earshells are terrible glued on to the plate.. Every Corsair I had has the same issue of cousion fabric getting off the foam. After 3 Headsets in 2 years I am done with Corsair Headsets. No problems with other products but the Headsets made me lose faith in their Product.
So true i started looking for a new headset becauce of that i kept getting leather bits around my ears and my parents had enough and i had to start looking
Agree
Seing the dent on that head I ain't buying headsets anymore instead I'll use airpods lol
Half these cost more than my monitor 😅
who tf play more than 15 hours straight 😭
It felt like they were just reading the marketing pitch and hadn't actually used any of these headsets 👎
The last headset is actually 700 Australian dollars
I have a blue hyperx cloud alpha S headset and a RIG 800 pro hx wireless and also a JEECOO J100 pro
for 300$, you can buy a VR headset, so be careful people
is the HS60 Pro good?
If not the bestest from corsair, just tight for head so if u use glasses, these are a big nope
@LuckyS7 do you think wireless headphones are worth it for pc? If not which wired do you recommend. Budget not an issue but nothing more than $350 pls 😂😂
@@itscoolthough419 I prefer wire still for PC
@@itscoolthough419 Purely a preference. Do you want to move around with the headset still on or do you just want to take it off when you go afk. Wireless does not lose any quality just because of the extra quality of life. It will cost a little extra though.
Dont buy these for ps5! Arctis nova pro wireless the winner? Not for ps5 it doesn't! Sony limit volume and quality on all none sony headsets.
Because of that, the only ones that will work fully are sony or maxwell (sony owned) headsets. Rest are a waste of money as they will be less decent. Disgusting by Sony but true.
I have the corsair HS55 and the plastic part got broken by general use. I don't rage and don't throw my stuff around. I'm disappointed in Corsair :/
Astros a50 have hella problems
Is this A.I narrator
The razor black shark v2 pro is not $150, it’s $200 😅
On amazon its $200 right now
that's the new black shark V2 they refreshed the model
They have a newer version from this year with the same name. Added is a better sounding mic software, usb-c charging, on board EQ settings and Bluetooth added.
@@Ryotsu2112y steelseries just broke is the new Blackshark v2 pro worth it its like $240 in sweden
and has 70 hour long battery, not 24!
Don't buy TB Disconnect issues out the Ying yang!
man this kind of left me confused
i have around 300 dollar budget
and im looking for these 3 things in a headset
1. super good immersion
2. if its wired i would rather if it uses a headphone jack rather than a USB
3. comfort
the number 1 in this video sounds like a jack of all trades
its really good at everything but not amazing
the number 2 is super expensive not sure if the wired has the same quality and iirc the nova pro wired needs a USB
the logitech g pro x uses a USB too for the wireless thing
asus rog might be the one that i pick but im not sure...
I would say to get either the arctis nova pro wired or the audeze penrose
Astro a40
@@BennyTK_ The a40 is great but if your willing to get it used than you can find some great deals. ive seen it used for under $100 before. if you dont like the idea of wearing someone esles headset though you can still replace the earcups.
audeze maxwell is the solution
maxwell@@brickfilmgamerpro8644
did u just have an AI read ads and add short jokes?
Just buy hyper x guys
the black shark headset should not be #1, after a couple weeks of using it the part where you adjust the height just went out of the door and fell all the way down i then found myself having to tape it to stay up 100%don’t recommend the black shark.
I've had mine for 3 years and I've never has this problem, even after throwing it about a few times
Maybe don't throw it around or just be careful with it
my astro a50 just died lol they wont pair avoid it guys lol too expensive
You pronounce it as asus r o g instead of rog
The dude reading the script has probably never actually played a game before
@@_kill4ura116 its asus rog
Bluetooth delay is fucking atrocious. Do not buy Bluetooth headphones
Not to be confused with wireless. Wireless is fine, NOT bluetooth
Astro is by far the best headset for gaming no doubt

Turtle beach is #1 on my garbage lists
bro you're litteraly just using rewews from other youtubers while reading off the box of these headsets
Audeze Maxwell is better than all the above
Tried audeze amazing sound but everything else was subpar
And plus
It doesn't give a good gaming vibe (personal Opinion)
How much
@@Jinfwjump they are like 230
The surround sound isnt as good as hs65 corsair at 80 bucks.... esp if u play FPS
My astro A10s are also pretty nice they were like 60 at a best buy. had em for like 4 years
-good audio
-decent mic
-not wireless
-and can take a beating
Same
The hs65 wired are better imo had the a10 before
my A10s on my pc wont work .. I either get audio with no mic or mic with no audio
Was about to say this, I’m gonna get some new ones after having my astros a10s for 5 years, nothing wrong with them I just realized I want more wireless products
@@TraderCaden This just happened to me today. I guess we both coincidentally ran into defectives.
Can someone explain to me what the rapid cooling on the Asus ROG delta S means does it have like fans in the ear part
I own a set of Hyper X Cloud alpha which ive been using for almost 6 years.Ive been using them every single day, would definatelly buy them again .
Is it good for listening music also?
bro facts
***DO NOT BUY ASTRO A50*** They work great have great sound quality and performance. HOWEVER, you will spend $300 and within a couple years you will have an issue. The volume nob will stop working, they won't charge anymore so you will have to have them plugged in all the time, the mic will constantly cut out. Trust me spend your money on a better quality headset. I wrote this while sitting here with my SECOND pair of A50's on my head, and guess why I'm watching this video....fool me once
No timestamps?
All trash only tep brands are best in audio be it gaming or musc listening.Audio tehnica and senhaiser
Isn't there something nice for $100?
Hyper x clouds
The first mic was 80$
Exactly.. like 150$ is not cheap! 😂
The razer baraccuda x
Razer black shark
The hyper-x cloud alpha cable SUCKS... and you cannot buy a replacement. It is prone to loose connections on the volume controler, which means you will spend a lot of time turning the volume dial ever so slightly for sound to go through both ears
The razor barracuda for its price is not as durable as its given credit for. i had mine for about 6 months before the ear piece broke clean off. the head band is strong but the plastic holding the ear pieces together are quite the joke. I dont recommend waste of 250 dollars.. watching this video to find a new pair of headphones as we speak. Hope this helps.
Both Razer and Astro are a no go for me. Used both of their products for years and I’m glad I stepped away. Razer software is garbage and astros headsets are very fragile
