This file was updated late 2020 as the Ordnance Survey very kindly changed the majority of the layer names, so the file includes pre 2020 layer names too. Once you have the drawing colour scheme converted use the PURGE command in AutoCAD to dump all the layers that are not needed. good for downsizing drawing and getting rid of unused blocks too.

Hiya. I do but actually it's very straightforward as long as you have access to a decent graphics program like Photoshop. The o.s. historical sheets need converted from 2bit .tif to 8bit jpeg. Gimme ten mins and I will find the link to an unlisted video I have (used in the uni) and I will reply again

Hey!! Not too sure how to post a direct message :) This is really helpful thank you!. I was wondering whether you know how to make a 3d topography from digimaps data? In the form of a surface, I suppose? Or perhaps there is a specific box I should be checking before requesting my download? Any help on this would be hugely appreciated! :)
There is the DTM option you can go for or pull Topo from sketchup. Not something I have tried myself to be honest.

I don't know if you are conversant with Rhino 3d and Grasshopper? There's a plugin for Grasshopper called Elk that can pull in Open Street Map info and change it to vectors ... That gives you access to the whole globe in vector format. Bit clunky but better than nothing.
@@emmockladdie I actually feel that I'll be heading in that direction. I haven't tried any of the two, since I didn't think that my laptop can handle them (my heaviest softwares are Revit and 3dsMax). I guess it's just time to alteast watch the programs online

You have to be a student enrolled at a university or college that subscribed to digimap. It is a paid for service, it's not free I am afraid
