    to bring them into 1, you highlight all, copy, go into the window you want to copy to, left click and 'paste into co-ordinates'... it's the easiest and quickest way

    how do you make the vml file sit at the same topography as the buildings layer?

    Hi, may I know how long it took them to regenerate the maps ?

      Hi Jason,
      I am not fully sure I understand the question. The files are from the Edina Digimap site which is a subscription site and provides detailed mapping for UK. The Building height information is brought in and the regeneration is pretty quick. With a more detailed site or larger area then it would take longer, but its seconds not minutes.

    Why not just copy with base point 0,0 then paste as block to 0,0 then you don't have to move origin and try get in the same place, it is in the right place without adding/changing the origin point
