Right on man for taking the time to make this video! Just bought eight cargo trailer, and looking to upgrade the inside. Great recommendations on companies. Also was reading reviews on Harbor freight‘s E track,And some say it’s too shallow

Does a ratcheting type of "Wood Beam Socket Holder system" exist so a pair of them can be lowered or raised at the same time on vertical ETrack? Kind of like a ratcheting Fork lift device? thanks for any reply.
I am not aware of a system that works like this. But it is definitely a great idea. One of the cons of the wood beam socket system that I have used is that it's not easy to relocate shelving. The brackets need need to pivot to be relocated. But it is certainly more versatile than a permanent bolted in solution.
I've always wondered how the crap those things worked. Nice demo

How about black hex washer head self drilling screws...... That would be awesome with black E-Track but, nowhere to be found.
Hft just came out with those yesterday. $5 without coupon. Who knows quality but rails rated 2000 pounds. Plates 800 pounds. Worth a try

Sorry, I know these prices are a bit out of date. If you are buying a lot of e-track parts it's definitely worth the extra research to see who has the best prices. It adds up fast!

I'm trying to get ply wood and etracks for the floor on my ford transit highroof van. Will a truck body shop be able to help me install them?
Plywood would be best from a lumber yard and many trailer suppliers will carry e track. Even Harbor Freight sells it. Although I’ve heard the quality is sub par. Many online options as well.
@@ThriftyGarage does a lumber yard have a saw that will be able to cut the wood precisely to the dimensions i need?
To buy E track at the best price check around your town for a truck body installer or ask questions at garages that work on big trucks.
If you find one of those places you can buy the track in ten foot lengths cheaper than others sell five foot sections for.

@@Floof_Factory Most of them would be glad to install it for you. You might not be too happy with the price.
@@udavidism the parts total would be like a couple hundred. So their labor might be a couple hundred extra. 500 or 600 total just for that? No problem.
The seller JustHarris on eBay has some excellent prices as well.
Can I pay a trailer body installer or someone to do the etrack installation in my van? I dont have the tools or etracks but I dont mind spending a little money
I don’t see why not. Any shop that installs e track would likely have the skills and tools to perform an install.
How much weight can the vertical e-track hold?
I'm sure it will depend on your mounting surface and method but the safe working load limit is 2,000 lbs. The maximum load (break strength) is lbs 6,000 lbs.
